@vodkaboxing in the future, reach above the twists and correct heading with rears. A no-flare plf landing into a clear landing area under line twists is way better/safer than flying into obstacles. This is always the case, but especially true under a lightly loaded base canopy. Glad the injuries were minimal. Blue skies! :)
is that a base rig as reserve? didnt know there are cutaway systems for paragliders (i am a skydiver but a bloody scrub in paragliding)
Im a skydiver and a ppg pilot.
Look like this has some particular cutaway system.
Also the reserve is a skydiving
Parachute
Yes a base cutaway system
Why didn't you turn the base canopy away from trees??
I was busy getting 3x twists out of the base. Then only had time to grab the toggles and flare

@@jordanhanson-flores2433 thanks 🙏 noted. That was my first opening with twists.
Glad you ok , Balls of steel
That was eye watering
Are you ok?
Yup all ok 😊
What caused the twist? Was it a packing issue or is it common to open with twist on that system? supair?
I think it's because I pulled whilst still turning with my body. Harness is a 3rs
@@vodkaboxing didnt even know that harness existed , its a good looking rigg
Ouch Ben! Is this how you damaged your leg?
