⚠️ FAQ ⚠️ - Don't get me wrong, the POCO F6 is still a terrific phone for daily use, it's lightweight and it's my wife's favorite phone, just specifically for gaming we see the Infinix is better (why I stopped gaming on F6 is exactly because of heat and jitters) - I did NOT cover the cooling fan, there are 2 boxes lined up just enough to support the phone and there's plenty of space for air to circulate, guess I lined them up too good? 😆 P.S. Yes, SD 8s Gen 3 is more powerful chipset in comparison to Dimensity 8200 Ultimate. But the amount of optimisation on Infinix GT 20 Pro is amazing, been using the phone for 1 month so far, best choice I've ever made(I did considering to get between F6 and GT20). The Dual chips works so well maintaining the framerate from dropping even when the phone is a little overheat(after playing for few hours straight). Most of people that complaining about the overheat unaware of that they put everything on MAX setting but expect the phone to maintain the normal temperature, which I find ridiculous. It also come with Bypass Charging(My favorite feature for this phone) which is super useful when I'm plugged to play long hours of gaming. The Bypass Charging also made your phone stay cool when plugged. The only one bad thing that I noticed during playing(Mobile Legends) with Data+Wifi features, gameplay somewhat delayed until I turned off the dual connection features. Overall it's a solid budget gaming phone that none can beat at its current price so far.

I think the OS is hampering the performance hence lower temps on the f6. Well a great move for xiaomi/poco to prolong the ICs and mother board's life. Old poco tend to die because of low to no throttling cooking the board
xiaomi's biggest problem is, MIUI & HyperOS which are very wasteful of RAM usage, I hope they just get rid of the unstable OS so that performance can improve. Stock android is the best for gaming performance, so I think infinix is now the king of cheap and high performance devices.
As an "uninstalled joyose" enjoyer it's sad to see that F6 losing in performance in this test. You should test it on Honkai: Star Rail where joyose doesn't limit the chipset. With uninstalled joyose I'm getting above 50fps average in Wuthering Waves edit: What i mean about HSR, with joyose or without joyose HSR performs the same way, at least in my own free tests

Poco F6 is not yet optimized mostly optimized, it needs more months to fully optimized by software updates to fix the bugs. Don't get me wrong, regarding to performance gaming and overall usage poco f6 still wins. Just wait for the phone to be optimized 😉

Correct me if I'm wrong The display resolution is different between the 2 phones ,rendring a game at 1080p it's much easier to the soc to rendring a game at higher resolution " ppi density" ,Poco have higher resolution the the infinix gt 20 pro.
You could be right, and we can only prove that through pixel counting which I'll try to do in my next test Still though I believe most of these games don't actually render at full resolution the same as the phone display res, but again we have to pixel count haha

Yeah basically the point is to push the phone as hard as I can and currently WuWa is one of those, if you've seen my previous gaming tests I have tested genshin and both phones do run them quite well already
Maybe if you test other phones with chipsets identical to the POCO X6 Pro/F6 to see if it is a problem of optimization by Xiaomi with HyperOS for now (the GT 20 Pro can not be asked to do more, we must start demanding other things from Infinix, regarding the cameras for example), because removing the variables the Snapdragon is not delivering its full potential, the difference should be a little more palpable and in favor of F6 That also says a lot about the optimization work Infinix has done with the GT 20 Pro, which has to be acknowledged, thanks for the video anyway By the way, I didn't catch which version of the Zero 40 you are reviewing. Is it the 5G version? 6:05 It's the 5G version LoL! 😂
Still rocking my poco f3, for me Snapdragon will always win the day due to their robust support from qualcomm that will always release latest open source android driver to accompanying each their of their soc. As a person that follows mod scene for phone, snapdragon phone will always guaranteed get support from community with latest CustomROM way further their lifetime. Even my phone before poco F3, which is Redmi Note 3 Pro with snapdragon 650 from 2016, still usable up to android 11 version custom ROM (from its original android 5 support from xiaomi) and security patch from middle of this year. Meanwhile other soc like dimensity already stop being made custom ROM from the community after 2 android version top because mediatek never released their open source driver like Qualcomm did.
Xiaomi phones work better in games without game booster, is trash since it exists for example on my old phones Xiaomi Redmi note 5 and Xiaomi Mi 10T if i turn it on ill have less FPS,more heat, and a small touch delay, and on my actual phone the Poco F6 the game booster is almost the same but with more bugs, atleast on the EU ROM version of HyperOS,other than that the phone is nice,no problems like the people who write on Reddit
If u want more performance, activate final mode from security in battery settings, also for those who still have Xiaomi devices with MIUI dont use final mode u will get only heat and no performace, only on HyperOS i see the final mod being actually an performance booster

Both will do just fine in short bursts honestly, and cameras are better than what they are last year as well, although honestly I’m not a big fan of Xiaomi’s front camera (or POCO) it just looks too beautified despite all settings turned off
So maybe get according to what design you like most?
@namedkenn I see, thank you! But in terms or durability and longevity which one is better? I tend to buy new phone when my current one is holding for dear life😅
@@0GreenLight0 haha well both are similarly good, I never had problems with either, also POCO F6 is my wife's favorite until now, she uses it day in day out, ah and also my kid drops it all the time and it's still pristine
@@namedkenn that's perfect then, I'll go with F6 now. Thank you!
Whats the case made of? It looks like its just regular plastic?
It’s plastic but the center part has some extra PCM (phase change material) where it transfers heat to where the cooling fan attaches
aaa okayyy this make me wanna buy infinix gt 20 pro..i am using poco x3 pro now for 3 years already..i guess it is a good time for an upgrade
You're not gonna regret it, I owned Poco F3. In paper Dimensity 8200U slightly better than SD870 but in reality Dimensity smash my Poco F3 performance during gaming. Infinix GT 20 Pro is a great choice.
How about the Infinix zero 40 5G? Will it be better for gaming than GT20 Pro?
that's why redmagic with the cooling fan is best gaming
so if phone brand introduce gaming phones, cooling fan is a must!
What game was that bro ?
Infinix gt20pro or s21 fe? Pls help
This is very interesting. It shows us that chipset is not everything but optimization from the brand itself is. I would like to see another another SD 8s gen3 device test using the same method. Perhaps Realme GT6?
Yeah, honestly that’s the point I wanted to show on this video but a ton disagree apparently 😂
And you bet I’ll do another follow up if I had the chance to test the GT6, but I unfortunately I don’t have it now so we’ll have to see
@@namedkenn Sometimes it's surprises you isn't it, the amount of diehard fans popping out in the comment section 😂
Well hardware and software go hand to hand. I always say this "putting an f1 engine onto a maruti 800 and expect to run the same is BS". But this is the price you pay for getting a cheaper gaming phone I guess
@@namedkennisnt the gt 6 the chinese version of f6?
the infinix is more optimized for gaming but the f6 more for general use and camera , also pretty sure the 8sgen3 is kinda unoptimized for gaming, compared to the 7+gen 2 of last year poco f5 (what im using btw) i get like 63fps on lowest graphics on wuwa but ( lowest all graphical settings but 60fps also change shadow to lowest) basically it looks like max graphics but for less phone stress
The camera isnt that good, really the selling point is just the chipset.
@@elinamanansi5508 probably, I think just buying the civi 4 with the same chip is better in the camera department but the price of that is a bit higher
Does both of them have headphone jack?
None has it, last time I saw is in POCO M6 Pro
Do u know any place where i can get the infinix gt20 pro gaming kit?
That depends on the availability of your local seller unfortunately
Cant wait for ur review for the infinix zero 40
Bro u r blocking the cooler fan exhaust side which blows hot air it won't perform the best make the cooler air flow normal in the next test

Explained in pinned comment and I assure you the have sufficient space for airflow
What the name of the controller ur using in this video.. look sick wanna try it to 😮
Haha yeah man it’s Flydigi Apex 4 and I’ve put links in description!
@@namedkenn nc nc also do you have a tutorial how to connect than in phone ... ^^
@@eckoa.9339 actually since the controller has a screen it's really easy to connect it, but yeah I haven't made a video about it yet
@@namedkenn do you think it has Bluetooth just connect and played no more qr code application or whatever it is... just like bluetooth earphone.
@@eckoa.9339 yep just like Bluetooth Earphone it's not complicated, but support depends on the games if they don't support you'll need to create a controller mapping with Flydigi app, at least on Android
I think because of the optimization of redmi, and they're buggy os, anyways glad to hear the winner❤
I think the OS is hampering the performance hence lower temps on the f6. Well a great move for xiaomi/poco to prolong the ICs and mother board's life. Old poco tend to die because of low to no throttling cooking the board
Wifi or data?
maybe we are back again from joyose limiting the phone performance?
xiaomi's biggest problem is, MIUI & HyperOS which are very wasteful of RAM usage, I hope they just get rid of the unstable OS so that performance can improve.
With uninstalled joyose I'm getting above 50fps average in Wuthering Waves
edit: What i mean about HSR, with joyose or without joyose HSR performs the same way, at least in my own free tests
Hello bro
I am from India ❤
Your voice is cool to listen.
Thanks! 😆
Is the phone's back made of plastic or glass?
Plastic 😄
@@namedkenn That's so sad :(
@@MisterMacabre12 well at this price one has to make compromises so yeah
@@namedkenn But wasn't Infinix note 30 pro made of a glass back and it's cheaper than this phone?
Gt 20 pro ko still good and smooth
Why codm is on ultra fps but capped in 90fps in codm. Is there any way to send this concern to devs (GT2 PRO)
The 120 fps work only in MP, not BR
Can you do a video with the infinix Vs Samsung galaxy S20 ultra I have an ultra and want to know if it would be any good switching to the infinix
Keep s20 ultra
Did you debloat POCO F6 using "universal-android-debloater-next-generation", since it can really help with apps running in background which also increases the temperature. 👍
bro can you do a phone cooler test on a leather back phone? please
im planing to have a cooler but im thinking twice for the reason that my phone is a leather back one im not sure if they have the same effect on glass, metal and plastic phones
I don't think it'll work well on a leather back, unfortunately
what do you think bro, should i tear the vegan leather on my phone?
@@markjaysonfernandez5960 My recommendation is let a profesional do it.Don't do it yourself.

thank you🙂
I would request you to try this comparison again after hyper os 2.0 update please ❤
Poco F6 is not yet optimized mostly optimized, it needs more months to fully optimized by software updates to fix the bugs. Don't get me wrong, regarding to performance gaming and overall usage poco f6 still wins. Just wait for the phone to be optimized 😉
Whatever to cheer you up😂
What is the name of the game?
Wuthering Waves 😁
Infinix GT 20 Pro Bypass Charging Test?
Not sure if I'm gonna do an entire video for that, cause it's just powering the phone without charging right
So hows the speaker of gt20 pro?
Ehh they’re fine, nothing too special haha
bro... try to buy Cubot Max 5 vs Infinix GT20pro
Can the gt 20 pro handle zzz?
@@Epic_Gaming04 yeah, ofcourse i played zzz with it no drop
Now compare it again, optimized 8s gen 3 vs 8200
will be a different phone and the price will different will be huge😂
Poco fans out there be ready for upcoming years when updates rolling out. They would limit the chips potential for you to realize phones is dying specially in power hungry games in the future. So you can BUY their upcoming poco F7-F100...cheaply. Dont forget Poco milks users heavily by those built in ads and bloatwares
Wuwa is not optimized for 8s gen 3 it seems
Good morning 🌞🌄
Correct me if I'm wrong
The display resolution is different between the 2 phones ,rendring a game at 1080p it's much easier to the soc to rendring a game at higher resolution " ppi density" ,Poco have higher resolution the the infinix gt 20 pro.
You could be right, and we can only prove that through pixel counting which I'll try to do in my next test
Still though I believe most of these games don't actually render at full resolution the same as the phone display res, but again we have to pixel count haha
i usually buy 2 very capable and well spec xiaomi 2 years apart
thinking about buying f6 and 14t this year
but since i already have f5 and x6 pro from 2023
ill skip and will get f7 and 15t next year
i think the issue wwith the poco f6 is the ram, i believe it needs more ram to perform to its full potential
my 2year old gt neo 3 with 8100 can run wuwa 50-60 everytime without a cooler but 8200 can't??
During fights? Same setting and with cooler too? Also how do you monitor fps?
I've reviewed the GT Neo 3 myself and know very well how hot it could be, so how's the temp in comparison? Can it sustain that preformance for long?
@@namedkenn I used fps monitor in devoloper option and yeah it does get hot even 45° + but fps didn't dropped below 40
Watching on my f6
Now do a comparison between ROG Phone and Red Magic
Bang kamu orang Indonesia?
Got the infinix 1 week ago if i get Poco f6 i will consider it a downgrade
Relatively the same performance, I think get the f6 if you want to emulate
Bro diablo immortal max graphics let see what happens
Seems like the people at poco underclocked the chipset on the poco f6
Genshin and wuthering waves 60 fps gameplay heats on every mobile device
i would like more poco x6 pro content
Unfortunately I don't have the phone handy
Hyper OS need more and more optimization for gaming experience
8s gen 3 should be much more powerful than the 8200 ultimate. Looks like it's an optimization issue.
It should be, that's why I kept on making follow up videos to confirm but kept on getting the same conclusion, which is consistent to my daily experience as well
Infinix GT 20 Pro beating the Poco F6, the heck!. Maybe it's still not as optimized yet
Infinix's chip is 🔥. D chines guy who created a detailed video a year ago about different kind of chips is correct.

Please try Solo Leveling Arise game in all High graphics
You can't cover the back if the cooling fan or it won't cool down as much, in fact it might even overheat
It's not covered haha I used two separate boxes just enough to hold the phones but there's still plenty of space
As you can see in the temp readings too these phones are cooled very well, I usually take 40deg as a baseline for a warm phone
you should have tried a different game that is more optimized on both phone not a latest new game that most games are having a hard time giving a good fps even a good chip will totally lag if they dont optimiize the game on it.
@@solo451 this just shows how the phone produce their max performance. Showing an optimized old game will not be called a stress test because any phone can process those old games.
The phone isnt even being stressed in this game. Something like genshin would have stressed it more.@@Pochitashibainu
Yeah basically the point is to push the phone as hard as I can and currently WuWa is one of those, if you've seen my previous gaming tests I have tested genshin and both phones do run them quite well already
wait a year or 2 til 8s gen 3 is optimized enough.
I think the problem in the poco f6 is the software it's heavy and unoptimized
Yeah, and I don't think they will fix it any time soon 😢
Bro, if I lend you my unopened Galaxy Buds 3 pro, can you do latency test ?
I would love to, but do you reside in Indonesia? 😆
Maybe if you test other phones with chipsets identical to the POCO X6 Pro/F6 to see if it is a problem of optimization by Xiaomi with HyperOS for now (the GT 20 Pro can not be asked to do more, we must start demanding other things from Infinix, regarding the cameras for example), because removing the variables the Snapdragon is not delivering its full potential, the difference should be a little more palpable and in favor of F6
That also says a lot about the optimization work Infinix has done with the GT 20 Pro, which has to be acknowledged, thanks for the video anyway
By the way, I didn't catch which version of the Zero 40 you are reviewing.
Is it the 5G version? 6:05 It's the 5G version LoL! 😂
Great video....Poco has battery drain issues and infinix simply more optimized with its chipset
WuWa has already got native controller support for mobile including IOS and Android since 1.3 update. Why were you using controller mapping for?
I made the recording before 1.3 came out 😂 just never got around to scripting and editing the video
please try warzone mobile game test
I bought the turbo 3…for about $210 usd…it’s so good! On par with everything my s23 can do…but again I only play Diablo immortal :)
Hey man as long as it plays well for so much less I think that's worth the money already right!
Get me wrong, this game isnot optimized, better compare with Genshin Impact or Pubg Mobile
Same with me,4 years with f3 & still going strong.
Genshin high 60fps,wuwa medium 60fps & star rail high 60fps,all runs quite well.
can't believe my F3 can still hold its own 😂
I may upgrade next year but this F3 has been a real hard worker I ain't selling it 😂
@@skyMcWeeds yea in my case i'll just make it as my 2nd phone for work & social media.
If u want more performance, activate final mode from security in battery settings, also for those who still have Xiaomi devices with MIUI dont use final mode u will get only heat and no performace, only on HyperOS i see the final mod being actually an performance booster
nice yeah
Yep
to unleash 8s gen 3's capable of, first uninstall joyose
But but...the Snapdragon though
I think Infinix is paying this person some money. 😁😁🙂🙂😉😉
I have been using this phone for a while and the quality of the device is bad 😢😢
so Poco is better for long term use without hang ups or problems.👍
I would love to get money but definitely not to tell lies 😂 so as you can see from the recording yourselves, these are in line with my daily experience

Infinix gt 20 is better I prefer gt 20
For me, Poco F6 is the winner❤
