Nice and cool video. I always like your articulation and how simple and effortlessly you explain things to your audience. Please is there any video or link on how to generate knickpoints in ArcGIS? Please if anyone has as well, I will really appreciate a link. Thank you all
Thank you for the very clear and helpful video, but I have some questions. How can I delineate small sub-catchments for my study area? I need to know the contribution of a wetland in my study area.
Hi, yes this method is more suitable for large scale sub catchments. If you are trying to delineate small scale sub catchments, you will need to do a bit of manual work to identify the direction of flows which may be governed by not only the localized slopes, but also things like localized canal and drainage systems. Therefore, you will need to have a good understanding of the local drainage system which would help you demarcate those small subcatchments manually.
Nice video. Do the points have to be placed on the streams within the flow accumulation? What if you wanted to delineate sub-basins from arbitrary points? For example, delineating a watershed coming into a specific parcel.
Hi,, Informative video I like it and its easy to understand each and every step because you have also demonstrated everything which makes it more easier to understand. Good effort, Please make some more Videos related to morphometric analysis as well as single flow algorithm and multiple flow algorithm if possible for you
Yes, it tends to be quite accurate on upstream areas, but can be significantly off at the low lands. The accuracy depends on the resolution of the DEM.
@@geodeltalabs thank you. That's exactly what happens. Could you recommend where I could find better DEM resolution?. I tried many websites such as usgs but still the same outcome.
Hello Sir Thank you for this video, this helped me alot. Can you please suggest me a good channel for Stormwater Management Module? Because this all majorly required in SWMM project .
@GeoDelta Labs Sir I'm facing some problem while doing this...it would be very helpful if you look into the matter and provide your email address for further communication.
Hey my dude, I'm just writing my master thesis right now and you helped me out a ton. Thank you very much!
Thanks ! Glad it helped you out :)
One of the best tutorials. Well done and thank you.

What happens when the watershed step gives out a value instead of a box like yours for each subcatchment?
Gracias, me has ayudado para contribuir a un pryecto cartográfico comunitario en los Páramos de Colombia.
Cheers! Glad to hear it :)

Hello sir... great video... I want to ask you that Can you please give procedure for delineation of subcatchments in QGIS?
Hi, a tutorial for this has already ben done. Kindly checkout the QGIS tutorial video playlist :)
You are genius, thank you 🙏

Thank you. It is a wonderful video.
Is there a way to extract flow routing information between sub-basins after using this method?
Good work!

How to locate more details by using projected co ordinates?
Thank you. It's very good video. However, some rivers generated from the DEM are incorrect. Is this common?

Can you tell me the minimum laptop configuration required to run these tools smoothly?
Hi, not so sure about that.. but I assume this would work even on a celeron, with no graphic card. Just the processing times would be slower.
i3 with 4 gb ram is sufficient.
How to calculate stream order of multiple watersheds?
Hi, there is a separate tutorial on calculating stream order. Please check in the ArcMap playlist :)
