Thankyou, I am big into recycling. These pallets were used for battery shipments, so quite strong, but almost impossible to break-up into their component parts.
A great way to repurpose a pallet. Several years ago, I used to build miniature railway structures and hand laid track and used the tea and vinegar solution to weather the sleepers. Black paint heavily diluted with turps was another method to weather timber. Thanks for another informative video, Bob.😀
Thanks Brett, I have filed the black paint and lots of turps for future use. I was amazed at how close to the aged timber, the tea and vinegar solution got the fresh cut stuff. 👍👍👍
These style of boxes come in various designs including using the triangular corner moulding strips. This was the design I had to use. I was told these boxes were a New Zealand design, but I am not sure that is right. I remember this style in my youth here in Oz. I think it depends on what the box will be holding, weight wise, as to how it is structured. Thanks for watching the video, Bob. 👍👍👍
Great stuff Bob, and more junk saved from landfill. Nice to see a bit of the old organic stuff on the channel.

Thanks Tony, cheers mate.
Great video, thanks for sharing 👍
Thankyou for watching 😁
Did you think about placing the uprights inside the box, maybe using corner moulding strips?

@@whitedoggarage Thankyou, I have been looking at more boxes since I watched this and there are many different designs.
@@robertsilver4795 Yes there are, even stronger ones have metal strips running around the end joins.
@@whitedoggarage Moulding strips would have reduced the area inside I imagine.
@@robertsilver4795 Agreed, depends what you want the grate for I guess.
