wow! you weren't kidding. Big Improvement from last year. I'm Just about Done with my Build. now I'll be moving on to the cosmetic stuff also. it's a nice feeling when you know you built something reliable so that you can focus on the riding adventure, rather then whats going to mechanically fail. That intro power slide was right on. keep the vids coming. the Blue rotor covers was a nice touch. I will Definitely be stealing a page from your book on that one. lol.
She's looking mighty nice.If you could afford it EGT or pyrometer gauges would benefit you greatly, will let you know instantly if you go lean (hole a piston) I've seen some nice dual gauges & weld in bungs.Great for getting your jetting right for different elevations etc
Sweet. I’m an above right knee amputee so I’m trying to find out, how I can convert a kick start banshee into an electric start? I can’t kick start anymore😞. Also. How could I tie my rear break into my hand break? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hey there! I've been thinking about an electric starter for awhile... honestly never found a practical solution. You would need a 3d metal printer to fabricate a case cover with an electric motor and sync gear incorporated into it.
For the rear brake you can just bypass the rear master cylinder and hook up a 2nd brake master cylinder and run it to the rear brake caliper all the way to the handlebars with a longer brake line. And to kick start i guess you can switch over and jump on it to start it with your left leg. You just gotta make it work man. I don't know if you can convert the banshees into a electric start.
Sweet shee man, and great very detailed video as well. Wish more did that. I do have a huge question tho that, no one has been able to answer yet. I’m an above right knee amputee. I’ve always loved banshees and have owned one in the past. How would I go about turning a banshee into an electric start, and having the rear brakes somehow tied into my hand brake? I can no longer kick start a banshee, but would love to have another one someday bc there’s nothing like them, or their sound. I wish they didn’t stop making them! Any help or advice would be great. Thank you so much. I thumbs up and subscribed.
Hey man great question. The issue with the banshee is that it doesn't have a reverse gear. I personally have to get off my banshee a few times every ride to get it unstuck and try to pull it backwards. I would personally recommend the new 2020 Polaris Sportsman, it is the ONLY 4x4 quad I would buy because it handles like a sport quad, while also having 4x4, reverse, and independent suspension so you'll will never get stuck. (Plus hand controls for gears so you would be able to ride it without mods). If theres anything else I can give my input on let me know!
i would be curious how long a battery would last alone, i wanna put a 12v gps speedo on my banshee, but dont wanna do a hole conversion. or am looking ot find a battery power gps with speedo. i mean i can put a phone holder and use my phone but that is tempory, its not like im gonna ride alot of trials, like my main road legal quad, where i can mount my phone and use it as gps maps.
Hey man where did you get those headlights from? And can I run those on my banshee without the battery setup ? I would like some of the Led lights or a light bar
LED lights don't like AC power, and they haven't made LEDs which work well with AC yet. They'll work temporarily, but not long term. Eventually they'll burn out.
@@ENFEbbnFlow ok I'm just gonna hook up a 12v rechargeable RC battery and hook them up to that with a on and off switch. Should last me a few hours. I rebuilt my banshee also btw. Might do a walk around if it some time.
Hey sorry man but your shee is perfect! Anyways I’ve got a 421 top end serval which I’m trying to do the same here. But I originally purchased a DC CONVERSION KIT from JLENGINEERING. Now not sure if a battery will come with it but this is a great start anyways. So I’m going to be running a light LED bar in the front and a gorilla whip in the rear. Now can you tell me which stator you bought from eBay? Or just send me the link. Thanks!!
So my 99 banshee I just bought has no battery the lights run off of the stator. So the power coming from my stator is ac? Can I just put a battery in my banshee and run the stator wires to the battery to charge it and then run my headlights to the battery?
What part of the country did you reside in Sir? Is your battery a AGM style or lead/acid? Beautiful Banshee, what year is it, and what year front raptor shocks pls? Thx.
Did you buy a conversion kit? Or did you make your own? I've been looking into doing this as I also recently just purchased the trail tech gauge. By the way really nice 'shee 👍🏻
Any 12v battery will work. It's up to you how long you want that battery to last. Essentially bigger battery more lifespan, unless you're considering lithium ion.
The reason why I installed a battery wasn't only for a trail tech, I installed it for proper lighting at night in the case of engine trouble. A battery eliminates the flickering of the AC current which damages the LED lights I have on board. Lastly it allows me to check my engine hour and status without the engine running. The battery upgrade is one of the more useful upgrades I've made. Thanks for your input.
anyone who needs led lights go to wish.com they are cheap prices not lights thats were all the big co. get them from china my dude why pay 6 times more

You can float the ground on the stock stator, and use the trail tech rectifier for D.C. Power
Didn't want flickering, and wanted to be able to use it when engine was off. Thanks for the input
Idk what I like more no front fenders or front fenders they both look good
They do! But I recommend full fenders if you're going anywhere wet. I get shot up!
The bike is perfect
Thank you that means a lot!
What kind of flux capacitor are you using

Or if you want a electric start quad you can get something like a yfz450r.
Looks awesome
Thanks!!!!
I’m doing this 12v conversion so I can run a small fan on the radiator
YES!

It should be in the description! If not just look up 200 watt banshee DC stator

John Smith yeah if you like fireworks. You need a regulator rectifier.
What part of the country did you reside in Sir? Is your battery a AGM style or lead/acid? Beautiful Banshee, what year is it, and what year front raptor shocks pls? Thx.
Acid! And thank you! Its a 1999! Don't use raptor shocks, watch next video!
You got a video on installing the trail tech and battery?
Not yet but I can make one in the near future! Stay tuned!
How u got the RPM working? Doesent work on mine...
What color powder did u use for ur banshee
Forgot the color! Ugh! I got it done by Johnsons Powdercoating
Nice I wonder if they make a Trail Tech system for my tri Z 250
You can buy any version and get it to fit with some creativity. The tach is just a wire that wraps around your sparkplug wire. Very simple.
Did you have to do una modificación to put the raptor shocks ??
Yes I did, had to cut the shocks. Dont do it, not worth it. Invest in good, right shocks.
Did you buy a conversion kit? Or did you make your own? I've been looking into doing this as I also recently just purchased the trail tech gauge. By the way really nice 'shee 👍🏻
Conversion kit, but doing it manually is also possible, see my video description
Hey what size it the battery I was going to put on one on my banshee
Any 12v battery will work. It's up to you how long you want that battery to last. Essentially bigger battery more lifespan, unless you're considering lithium ion.
Will you please place link for that stator and regulator
Watch next video!
Nice banshee!! And wut offset are those front rims
Standard I believe!
Where did you get the fan kit from
Theres no kit, you have to be creative with a 12v small fan and brackets.
How much different is the ride with the raptor shocks compared to Banshee setup?
Byron Pyatt suspension travel is the main advantage.
Raptor of which year? They fit on the stock a arms???
Update, dont do raptor shocks. They destroyed my ball joints. Just invest of decent shocks.
@@JoseTorres-ey2fs no they wont, they wont fit any a arms, this was a mistake. Get actual shocks meant for a banshee.
hey what kind of headlights are those?
He said it
Amazon search, 12v LED round lights, any will work .
How's the stator doing? Good quality? Any problems?
Still runs perfectly fine today.
See my new video!
I really want every mod youve done to electronics fan, stater, alarm, batery ,trailtech have you ever thought of selling a kit that is mostly set up?
Honestly it's a lot of tinkering, wouldn't ever be able to do that. But that's part of the fun.
were those originally 6 volt ?
What a arms are you running
Armadillos, which I can't find anywhere anymore. I would recommend the Elkas.
What trail tech make and model are you using? Where did you get this?
All the links I could find are in the description!
For the brake light did you get a new wire harness with a brake sensor or is it just a taillight
Has a flashing brake, just hardwire it in.

Algún diagrama para instalar la batería y regulador a el Yamaha banshee
Si!
@@ENFEbbnFlow como lo puedo conseguir 🙏
How do I get ahold of you for part information
Dale Walker was
What key and fan are you running??
All amazon, generic parts custom fit to work. Use a 3 stage key switch.
Where you get the battery and bracket
Amazon.
How did you mount the battery? Did you have to relocate coolant?
Hey there, delete the coolant, you'll have to use your creativity, hopefully a cleaner finish than my home depot wood brackets.
E M thanks!
What brand tach is that?
Trailtech
Should've just wired the trail tech into the headlights, you did alot of unneeded things
