    As a horticulture student with a front yard full of Alpinia zerumbet I may be your biggest new fan. Great production.

      Great! love their flowers, get so many pollinators hanging around the flowers. I also use the flowers in arrangements for the house. Have fun with the Alpinia and Merry Xmas.

    One of my favourites. The ones I have in my garden are still young and small, can't wait for them to flower for the first time.

      I wish I could dear. Have a look on line there could be a nursery that sells the plant. All you need is one plant. And as the plant matures it will reward you with babies and from then on you are good to go.

    I really enjoyed your video. You have such a pleasant voice and are such a lovely person. Your information was great since my daughter just shared one of these plants with me and I had no idea what it would be like. Thanks again and keep it up!

      Great that you are growing cannas on your balcony. I have seen people grow Alipina on their balconies and even indoors, check out your nurseries and see what varieties could be grown. Thank you for sharing and enjoy gardening.

    We have it in a pot in the UK but cant get it to flower.

    • @redsoilgardener
      @redsoilgardener  Год назад

      Cindy normally once planted it would take up to 2 years to start getting flowers. And it would need sunlight in order for it to bloom. Once it does get warmer ask your garden center to recommend a fertiliser that will promote blooming in summer.
