WHOA! Just discovered this tune on Spotify!!!!!! I'm starting my Monday with THE WRONG FOOT FORWARD, this 7/4 time Fantastically Phenomenal Flute-Filled, Phalangeal Frenzied, Folk tune! I won't lie... This song will be on repeat for most of this day and likely most of this week!! WOW!!!!!!
I bought 'Haven' in 2005 I believe it was, as a christmas present for my self - no one else does - and, of course, I knew I couldn't be disappointed, when I, while the others still were unpacking, played this first tune: but how it touched me rightaway and how could it have not? It still is amazing!
Looking at the whistle I think it might be a Low G, and it is certainly a Goldie (unless it's an original Overton). I have a Low G from Colin on the way and I hope to learn this - but, it might actually be a A........which will be frustrating coz I can't get one of those for a few months.....
Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could tell what kind of tuning that the guitarist is using? I love this song very much and wanting to be able to play! Thank you.

Hey Daito. Konichiwa gozaimasu. The tuning is dadgad. Have you checked out Sheena in Osaka
And then he swaps to a Soprano D........which confused me! Easily done
What songs is he playing here?
flook!
Ummm.. No, that is most certainly not a low F. A low F is lower than that. He is playing an Alto A whistle, by Colin Goldie.
4:12 oh, yeaaah
witch tipe of tin whistle is he playing?

+noelarrosa Looks and sounds like an A to me.
+Kopp203 it is
