Hello, I hope you enjoyed this session at home! I‘m curious, let me know which you liked :) Also, this is another video not sponsored by a brand, so it‘s sponsored by the lovely Patreon community! :D If you want to support and you are interested in LR Presets, extra videos or physical postcards, then you can check out my page here: www.patreon.com/teocrawford Thank you for being here and have a great week!
I find it fasinating to watch other photographers set up their photos, its comforting to see people pace around and just look at objects intensely or make an akward giggle after taking a self-portrait, its good to know that is a universal experience.
This video is truly inspirational. I appreciate it so much when you give little hints and tips, such as how to use Pinterest, or what your camera settings are for a shot (this is huge!), or why you are composing an image a certain way. I honestly think you are my favourite Photographer. Thanks Teo.
This feels like such and intimate video, I really appreciate you taking us with you on this indoor journey and talking about your process and settings. I am also a film photographer who doesnt really do still life but this makes me want to give it a try and gives me a starting point!
These are super amazing, i hope we get more of these ideas, they’re very inspiring i can’t wait to try them out .. thanks a lot 👍🏼

Thank you for showing all stages of your creative process, including disappointment and dissatisfaction with some of your photographs that you yet so carefully planned and prepared. The balance and calmth you reflect with on these shots is very inspiring to me, a chronic perfectionist photographer who tends to give a hard time to myself with every shot that comes out wrong. In the current age of social media setting the perfection standard, your videos help recover the more healthy idea that by making mistakes, we grow, and that they also contribute to our creative process, not hinder it. Thank you for this! :)
Teo This time of the year in the United States can also be very dreary. Your video has inspired me to to be creative on these days when I’m experiencing cabin fever. Thank you and well done.
I always love your videos Teo! I look forward to every sunday. Your explanations and thought process helps me a lot and the self-reflection of each photo is amazing. Your videos inspire me. Where I live in Sweden we have had maybe 7-8 sunny days since christmas eve. It's really depressing and uninspiring. Thank you for bringing some joy to photography!
These turned out so good, I love the Tumblr/Vsco aesthetic! My favorite was definitely the fridge film one, the colors turned out so nice and I love the moment of surprise you'd get from seeing something unexpected. I also just wanted to say I just found your channel and as a beginner in film photography I'm loving your videos, it's really nice watching a seasoned photographer explain the process.
Ahhh thank you, I love the diversity in favourites I'm seeing in the comments here :D Ohh that's so cool, I'm happy these videos can help out in that way - thank you for the kind comment!
Wow, I just discovered your channel and I binged watched pretty much every video haha Your channel has became one of my favorites on RUclips, I love the aesthetic and chill vibe that your videos have :) I'm starting to really get into cinematography and color grading right now, and your style is exactly what I want to achieve ! Did you changed your color grading process since your tutorial video 2 years ago ? If yes, I would love to learn about your new process ! Keep up the good work :)
Teo this is a fantastic video! I really appreciate the depth of explanation that you give, from lighting essentials to your own personal take on aesthetic aspects of each shot. This was equally informative as it was creatively engaging. I loved the shot of the film in the fridge -- combined with the bathtub shots, makes for some very interesting character development !!! Love your work as always, thank you !!!!!
another great video, thank you. love your style. i actually just ordered a k1000 from my local camera store, it was the camera i learned to shoot on once upon a time
Dude this was such a good shoot! I love the use of the flowers and the film boxes. I think the one with the cigarette and the film boxes in the tub is like film's funeral due to the incoming Kodak price increase lol! Also, you have some wonderful tile at your disposal for indoor photoshoots!
Favorite video of yours so far! Great seeing you working out the concepts of each picture and some grea results! Also always appreciate your honesty about which frames worked out and which didn't in your opinion:)
I LOVE pinterest for inspiratiion as well. I also dig your approach to "scouting for a location" in your own home haha. Such a fun video Photo 9 was my personal fav. 📸🌸✨
Ahhh yeah Pinterest is so fun :D Haha it was a strange thing to do at first but I think it's such a good exercise to find more appreciation for small things in one's home :) Thank you! :))
I have always enjoyed your videos and the calmness of them, so thank you for making them and showing your perspective of the world through the camera and adding to it with your comments. The flowers in the cigarettes box was such a interesting idea that I had to write it down and maybe use it as a prop in a short film later on. I really loved the first shot, half burnt but the composition and the flowers as a foreground looked really pleasing. Shot Nr.5 is so pleasant, as you said the complimentary colors and the white box with the white chair makes for really balance shot in my opinion. Shot Nr.6 looks really candid photo, like something that is unplanned. Gives a really cool feel to it. Shot Nr.8 I thought maybe some fill light from the left would have made it better, less contrast on the image but would have bought up the flowers a bit more and maybe moved the flowers a bit more to the right so moon is more clearer. That's just my opinion. Really love the 9th picture composition and the orange light creeping over the blanket to your hand. Nr. 10 looks really nice only thing that maybe I feel would have made it better would be to change the skirt for the lamp or diff the sides of the skirt so it wouldn't be so bright on the edges but would still give as much light to the chair and flowers underneath the lamp. I feel that the lamp's skirt is just a bit to bright and draws attention from the subject. Bathroom shot with the cigarette with the wide aspect ratio complimented it better. Would see it as a shot in a movie :D But these are just my opinions and I really enjoyed watching the shoot unfold. Every comment or a bit of change you made with the shot I felt like yea that's good, smiled and pointed to you through the screen like yea man that's The Shot! You got me really into the hole process and really cool angles on the video as well! Be well and have a great day man!😄
Teo! Great work brother! Loving the creativity of your shots. All of the bathroom shots were nicely captured by the look and feel. Peace, Love, and Happiness!!! 🙃
I really enjoyed watching you come up with compositions and how you do your mood boards. Gave me some ideas & makes me stretch my creativity. also dope photos. #k1000gang
this was very inspiring to watch. I love your approach to finding creative things to shoot. Ive been tinkering with the idea of shooting inside my house too. Just waiting for good lighting, as its been overcast for going on 2 weeks. Look forward to seeing more of what grows out of your inspiration
about pic 5, other than what you mentioned, what I love most about is how one flower is higher than the others, like when you wanna pull a cigarette out to smoke. I dono, I like it haha
Ahhh true! I think that is something I subconsciously also liked about it, but hadn't noticed it enough to put it into words - so thanks for pointing that out! :)
21:12 with the cigarette packs in the bath - maybe you could try putting black in the bath to cover the white, then fill it with water & float the packs so it looks like they are floating in a black tar or oil?
That's definitely a cool idea. I was thinking that if the flowers weren't there, it would kind of look like someone smoking one last cigarette before filling the tub to destroy them. Actually, even with the flowers, it looks like some homemade Viking funeral for a bunch of cigarettes.
still in the middle of watching this video but just have to say, i started watching your videos two months ago.. aaand now i own a gx85. what is going on :o

Couldn't agree more. Also wondering... does anyone hold their breath right before they release the shutter and breath out once it's released?
hahah I love your description, it's so accurate. I'm happy you relate to it :)
Ohhhh yes, I do that sometimes hahaha

9:25 man oh man is this my favourite shot, i just love the baby blue from the pillow and how well it fits with the cigarette box + the flowers
ahhh love that, thank you! :)

I use Pinterest as well! I also like to look at art on there and get inspiration for photography
Nice video Teo.

ohhh wow that sounds... dark, can't describe it differently haha, but surely sounds dark :D
@@teocrawford I thought it would be a good way to comment on the harsh reality of what's in cigarettes.
That's definitely a cool idea. I was thinking that if the flowers weren't there, it would kind of look like someone smoking one last cigarette before filling the tub to destroy them. Actually, even with the flowers, it looks like some homemade Viking funeral for a bunch of cigarettes.
What a fun video! Creating a modelling agency at home for objects ...
hahah love that idea! Glad to hear you had fun :D
Great video. I really want you to try the bath shot again but have the washing machine in frame.
Ahhh actually yes, that sounds great!
I love the shot where the film is in the fridge!! 🔥
