I like how a full board comes out as a huge downside more and more.
Did it actually matter though? Even with board space, he’d have nothing to save him unless he got something with rush/charge/taunt.
Cameron Wise-Maas you just defined exactly why it was a downside. statistically it lowered his odds of survival
@@brr4519 Only if his entire board was frozen which only one class has the ability to do without zephrys. Otherwise he'd have a massive board that would have a much higher chance of winning than if he happened to get a charge or rush minion. The reason a full board is better than one with empty spaces is because if kibler didn't have lethal and that freeze wore off, he'd still have a full board full of scary minions.

@@fuatkaray9694 No no, I'm not saying he could have picked shadowflame, I'm saying that given that he picked frost nova, even if the other guy didn't have a full board he was still very likely to win, so the full board likely (but not certainly) didn't matter.

The only thing I "don't like" (loose words) about your videos is the fact that I can keep tempo with the song 95% of the time and I know when the match is about to end usually so there's never a surprise factor to it. Not that it's the most action oriented game in the world lol.. but still. Love your videos man.
When I saw what Zephrys' discovered, my first choice was nova. I even expecting a nova. Maybe because I played Mage too often I always freeze a full board while setting a lethal so the enemy can't do anything lol.
Great game! There is something wrong with your sound in the past few videos. Gotta turn the sound way down, and you sound kinda distorted, especially when you get exited :P Not sure if your mic setup changed or what is causing it.
This deck seems like so much fun! Really debating if crafting Mad Genius is worth it, a month and a half or so before it rotates... its really not, but dammit! I kinda want to play this deck... but i DE’d my Dr. Boom hero card months back, when i hated control warrior so much! But it does kinda play a big part in this value oriented highlander deck... damn.. decisions.. decisions...

idk if it would've been relevant in this game, but sweeping strikes does work with supercollider
I made a highlander Galakrond deck and been having a lot of success with it. I still feel like I can invoke twice easily before I play Scion or Galakrond itself.
Is a grave rune + sathrovarr + onyxia combo usable late game. I use it early game , but idk man it’s definitely not meta.

So I just had a random idea for a card while watching Kibler.
It's a Mage secret called "Icy Tomb"
What it does is if your opponent plays a rush minion, it gets frozen.
Not the flashiest, it could be helpful in some match ups. Plus the description would be "THIS tomb will hold you"
Cascade Hellsing it most likely needs to say rush and charge to see play

Zephyrs can be smart, but he can be really dumb sometines. Today I was facing a dragon druid that had the deathwing with deathrattle on board, and zephyrs gave me shadow word death instead of hex, even though I had mana for hex. Deathwing's deathrattle triggered and summoned 3 big dragon and I instantly lost the game.

yes, i think its more entertaining than most other games
Not on ladder, you just face the same decks over and over again. Unless you like that kind of stuff, then I guess sure it is fun. But it's still possible to create fun decks of your own so I have fun like that but yeah, once I go to ladder with those, it's just aggro mage, aggro hunter and mech paladin all day every day in wild

@@TheMasterpiecePD Not impossible, you just need a lot of money and you need to be creative. Since I don't want to assume that people are just dumb, my explanation for the copy-paste metagame is that it would be too expensive to craft many cards so that you can experiment and build good anti meta decks all the time.

To be honest, they announced right out the gate that Zephrys might see lethal in a way you may not. We all see, perceive and process information different as well as prioritize things differently. You cannot bash blizzard for making a card that also does all the things a player does on purpose.
