I liked the sound of it both indoors and outdoors I does reduce wind noice good. I use surround sound system and what I noticed when you speck wothout it I get an echo through all my speakers but when you use the mike your voice is centred without echo
For talking head videos, if you have a top tier phone, you do not need a mic like this. For outdoor use, definitely get a proper mic. Either lav or a shotgun mic like the mk200/400/600. I have the 200 for use with my action cam in various scenarios where I can't use the lav. I love the small form factor, I can mount it in the cold shoe directly on the cage without it coming in view of the lens. With the mke400, you'd need a coldshoe extender, otherwise the mic will be seen in the top frame of your videos. Everything has its use case. Where a mic like this shines is for wind reduction and high quality sound outdoors. If you're doing talking head like this, I'd much rather get a proper podcaster mic or if you don't want your mic in frame, a high quality directional mic like the MKE600 or even MKH series.. Though it gets expensive fast. So yeah, I'd say unless you're willing to spend $400+ on a good mic for talking-head, just drop it entirely imo. If you have an old phone with a bad mic, I'd look into getting a $20-$50 lav mic.
There are two attached wire with sennheiser make 200, 1 is TRS to TRS and the other one is TRS to TRRS, also the lightning adapter should be TRS to lightning to have better sound quality. Can you please check it again?
The one I’ve got is the standard iPhone adapter called “Lightning to 3.5 Headphone Jack Adapter”. Do you know by any chance if that one is TRS to Lightning, as you say it should have for better sound quality? I can’t see TRS anywhere on my adapter.
Hello, do you think you could review the Jabra elite 95Ts? They appear to be really good but I would love to see how they stack up in your ANC tier list for example.
@@pickyaudio I'm sorry, I messed up the number in my previous comment and I meant the 85ts. I can see them ranked in your ANC tier list, but I can't find the review and I'm curious to see why they are so low.
The english language is not my first language so I want to ensure my understanding. Do I understand correctly that ultimately this microphone does not work with the IPhone 13 pro and a lightning to 3.5mm adapter? Thank you so much

Yea 100% the mke200 is more centred especially outdoor
I agree. The iPhone 12 Pro has an undoubtedly amazing mic!
For me I think the mke 200 makes a pretty good difference. The words are much clearer.

Can you please review TRN T300. I've been hearing a lot of positive things about this TWS. Thank you
The camera I recommend is Sony ZV-1. That is the one I'm getting soon.
Thanks!
Thanks. I was about to buy this mic for vlog but definitely not. I’m looking for a full sound and my iPhone pro 13 has better sound than MKE 200.
I'm impressed with an your videos most done with your iPhone.. cool..

I didn’t know they existed!

IM not a fan of the fruit but its sound a lot better than that mic, 100$ saved that was a ton of wind and the dead cat was wack.
