    But this trail isn’t just about the scenery-it’s also about the story of Nanyehi, or Nancy Ward, the Cherokee Beloved Woman. As a warrior, diplomat, and peacemaker, her legacy shaped the Cherokee Nation during a time of great upheaval. Learn about her bravery in the Battle of Taliwa, her role in Cherokee governance, and her lasting impact as a bridge between cultures.
