Y'all keep in mind that Jordan Fisher was also trained for years and has literally performed on Broadway. Just because you know one style of dance doesn't mean you can suddenly become an expert in another, it only gives you the discipline to pass more easily to a new style.

On this episode of Dance Moms...jk. But this honestly DOES remind me of a routine she could have done on Dance Moms for a group dance 😂 and her lyrical/contemporary dance has improved so much

Yuzu Nikaidou I'd say 40% of the viewers know she dances and was a competitor. The rest are impressed without prejudice. I personally believe she has too much expierience but in saying that I do NOT mean it in a MEAN way. I think its ABCs fault.

Actually Mackenzie Ziegler was known for acro jazz or acro theatre (combination of acro and musical theate) and towards the end becoming good at hip hop. She was actually not in most of Abby's contemporary which is different then ballroom contemporary
Miss Amanda's world she was in every group dance and a majority of those were contemporary... I think Mackenzie did a great job in this routine and I wouldn’t mind if she won ... I like her but fact is she is experienced as a dancer and if she weren’t doing this show everyone would argue that she is a great dancer and not just Maddie’s little sister ...
Kendom wrong most group dances where lyrical. And gk back and see how many Kenzie was in she was even out of a group dance in s5 sick. And a group dance in s6 a helping out pitsburg team. She missed few group dance in s4 because of her music. She was out half if group dances in s3. She was only in like 4 of them in and 3 in s1.

Only if she knows the dance style. She's done modern dancing but to put her cold into something else like Tahitian, or even Bon dancing and she will be lost. Her first try even at something like phillipino bamboo dancing will leave her with sore ankles
I actually have noticed that they'll use any flips and other tricks that the celebrity has like "SUPRISE!" However, since Kenzie was known for Dance Moms before singing, they dial down the details of the tricks that she does. We know that she can do an aerial and a la seconde turns, but we didn't see that (we saw flips in a few other dances, if you'll notice), we saw her BEING lifted. Not to say that lifts are easy, they just don't use her full abilities because of the dial down of her past expierence.

Holy cow that was definitely the best performance of the season so far.
