Hi Tony, thanks for this, hope you're feeling better. The car at 06:16 is a Ford Zephyr Mark 1, possibly a Zodiac as it's two-tone.
I hope you get 100% better very soon my Friend. You were correct about that Delivery Van. I don't understand why People would mirror their Video, unless they are backward. To me it looked as if the Rear Camera had much better Quality than the Front Camera.
It was the St Heliers Arms. It wasn`t too bad, in spite of the shooting. They had some good music in the hall, but you just didn`t upset the wrong people. Used to use it on Saturday night sometimes and on Sunday. The Tavern was the Morden Tavern in Central Road. I used to live just down Middleton Road.
I've always known it as the tavern, from what I've seen on Carshalton Facebook groups this has come up a few times, now according to them it changed its name. From the Arms to the Tavern, and I used to live just off Middleton road myself the goat end.

Interesting review. Pity it is an import as there will be duty & customs clearance charges to add to the price which is maybe the purpose of the discount code.

I agree with your comment on the delivery truck. As a Liverpudlian we have a few “rough” pubs here too! The rear cable do you have yours along the top or the bottom of the side doors? Worried about curtain airbags. I’ve just got an ev two weeks ago and love it! Wish I’d have done it years ago it’s so quiet! Hope you feel better soon as well we need you back at full speed!
I hope you are feeling better now Tony. I've been sick and out of work for about 6 weeks or so, better now but took a lot out of me, especially at my age, horrible chest infection. Anyway a great video as usual and it does look like a great camera. Keep well, Tony.

that truck in the one way, if you look if he had gone the right way probably couldnt have got out because of the parked cars on the bend, when i was delivering in the 70s and 80s it was a nightmare then for hop deliverys
I saw a good one the other day on RUclips, a RUclips auditor decided to have a look round and Audi dealership, as he was walking around looking at the cars , a woman came up to him and told him to get out, and when he asked her who she was, she said I am an Audi customer and your not, so get out, I think he told her to do one and carried on
The camera seems to be a decent camera, the picture quality looks decent too, but the rear and interior camera's mirroring is annoying, and I'm not dyslexic, so it must be doubly so for people who are, the manufacturers really need to change these defaults from mirroring to normal, that mirroring can be really disorientating, it makes you think you're driving in America.
It's quite possibly a RUclips compression thing, but I thought the forward facing camera's image quality was poor. Supposed to be 4k yet it was quite often grainy and lacking in detail.
Compared to your Viofo cameras this seems nowhere near as good. All the way through I noticed loads of frame drops both from front and rear cams which gives a nervous look to the picture. Also, from 11:18 to the end the picture looks more 0.4K than 4k.
Checking on the Amazon link it shows as currently unavailable and 'We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.' so it may have been replaced by a newer model.
A very helpful review but I won't be considering one with all the downsides.
I've still got to do a proper review on my Viofo camera so look out for that one.
@@thelondondashcam I will but just on the basis of what I have seen on the channel, the Viofos both produce excellent shots. The 229 seems to have much richer colours but even the 129 is really good.

Neither the picture nor the sound are as good as your normal dashcam.
Speaking as both a normal person and an ex-Systems Programmer (yes, both are possible ...!) the default setting of 'mirrored' of those two cameras is abhorrent!
My opinion: Stick to the Viofo......
Image appears to "jerk" and is not 4K sharp.....

The footage isn't smooth, it's jerky, very annoying to watch. You can see it more at the edge, I think it's a frame rate issue.
I really need a dash cam, I could supply LDC with video clips for life. Just minutes ago, right outside my house I saw a BMW do the stupidest thing I have seen this week. We were approaching the turning to the left, BMW turned his indicator on (thats a shocker already) and.... turns right. There is no road to the right, no parking either, but the bmw drove all the way into the oncoming traffic lane with left indicator on, I was thinking WTF is this idiot doing, then the BMW turned left! He needed an entire road to swing around to make a left turn, in a 2 door car! I drive a long wheel base van and I just turned left with no issues. Seriously, the DVLA must be giving as many driving licenses away for free to as many idiots as possible to then make more money in speeding fines, parking tickets, road tax, insurance and so on.
