It's so nice to see well-dressed performers! They show respect for themselves and the audience.
Thank you for the compliment!
We also have positive feedback from live guests that were at the venue on the event.
I also think it improves the musician's nerve towards playing better and focused if you know what I mean.
Needless to say, it's an really iimportant fact.haha
Don't forget to check out our videos too!
@@OsakaJazzChannel I am a performer myself and know exactly what you mean. This is why I think it's so important to dress up for a performance. It's a special occasion, not a daily routine like going to the store for a loaf of bread.:)
I was once told that 99 out of a 100 people that show up at a live event are there to "SEE" the show.
It actually made sense.
Appreciate the helpful and honest comment from another performer!
Stay tuned for more!
Cheers from Osaka!
@@OsakaJazzChannel Yes, the visual aspect is certainly a very important part of it. But if you dress like a slob to go onstage, you will play like a slob, too. I hate this modern idea of performing "casual." Some even come out barefoot. Pretty off-putting, if you ask me. Imagine a barefoot doctor, lawyer or policeman dressed in sweatpants and a t-shirt. Would you take that person seriously?:)
@@OsakaJazzChannel I was in Osaka in 1994, on tour with the New York Pops. We played in Tokyo (Bunkamura) as well. My room at the Osaka Sheraton was very small, but the Tokyo Hilton was much better.:)
Jazz is a dead art for Americans but in Japan is alive and thriving with superb musicians like this group.
Glad to hear you enjoyed our performance!
We are lucky to have all the talented musicians to perform for us and being able to share the art through RUclips throughout the world.
Appreciation to all the wonderful jazz classics that the jazz greats have left and presented to us and greetings from Osaka, Japan!
Yes! I've been a jazz drummer since the early 70's and the demand in the USA has been declining steadily. This is so sad. Thank you, Japan for keeping it alive. Your songs are wonderful. Don't change a thing!
ドラマチック。💖

Greetings from Osaka, Japan!
Greetings!🙂
Ah... This particular trio is superb. Mr. Soda is inspirational, Mr Mitsouka is phenomenal (love the tie!), and Mr Kuge, as usual, provides the heartbeat and propulsion. A wonderful combination. Thanks
Happy to hear the positive feedback!
Always a pleasure to perform with these amazing musicians.
Thank you for the comment!
Takashe Kuge is a top class drummer. One of the very best that I've had the pleasure to hear.

Such a wonderful lyrical piece. Greetings from Jazzman Kuala Lumpur.
Thank you for the compliment!
I used to live in Singapore for a few years and do miss the food in hawker centers from both Singapore and Malaysia!
Cheers from Osaka!
Love to hear that. Hopefully in the future this group will make a short gig's in Kuala Lumpur. Cheese!
Круто!
Благодарю вас!
*Tapochka. There is no such thing as "tapochek."
@@paulparoma And? it just sounds funny.
P.s. tapochka is the genitive case, and tapochek means slippers in the singular and nominative case
@@tapochekawoo No, it does not, wiseguy. Нет слова "тапочек" в именительном падеже, но есть слово "тапочка." Так же, как и нет слова "туфель." Тапка, туфля, но не "тапок" или "туфель." Общепринятая, колхозная ошибка. Оба слова женского рода. Look it up in the dictionary if you don't believe me. Have a nice day.
