@@Lucas-wv3oq there is no Iraqi culture, Iraqi language or Iraqi people: you have Arabs, Kurds, turkmens and Assyrians in Iraq. You have sunni Muslims, Shia Muslims, Yezidis and Christians in Iraq. Iraq is a artificial state created by the Europeans 100 years ago after the ottoman empire was defeated

You need to know the countries of the world and the diversity of their peoples.
Every country around which borders have been drawn will have a special culture that its people possess in all its forms and differences, and surely each person will preserve his own culture, but while preserve the culture of the people of his state .
Take, for example, the dish in the video is a traditional Iraqi food that represents Iraqi culture and all Iraqis cook it, Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, Yazidis, Assyrian, Chaldeans, Armenians, Sabeans, etc.

I wouldn’t call this recipe an authentic one as I have never seen my grandmother or any relatives cook okra this way . Traditionally they usually boil chunks of meat on the bone preferably till they are cooked half way and with lots of stock still left over .on the side fresh tomatoes are crushed and the juice is then separated from the pulp. Then heat the oil add garlic if wanted then add tomato paste . After a few seconds of stirring the paste in the oil to get rid of the rawness taste of the paste the okra is added and salt and the chunks of meat with a bit of liquid and cover. After a few minutes the stock or broth from the cooked meat is added alongside the tomato juice that was rendered from crushing the tomatoes earlier.then water is added according to quantity and the whole thing is boiled till its reduced to the level of thickness preferred.and also to add a zesty flavour citric acid is added or if you don’t like that then some fresh lemon juice according to preference. An okra stew has to have some thickness and body.

You propaganda school prefer to erease your origin and your ancectors lol ? What kind of people you are to not have shame to to do that to your ancectors...?
Kid even famous west Historian trace your history and confirm you are from center of asia far after Afghanistan lol... from the north mountain of that region. You have no any history in Mesopotamia you was in no any civilisation on that region lol....
Kid you dont need knowledge in history but simple logic. Kurds language is only talking because ypu Nomads of mountains you never establish in a region because you nomads that mean you dont build any civilisation because you need to stay for generations in a same place. We Mesopotamian invent the write -5000 before JC. You kurdish you never had any kurdish write but you use the write of the countries where you are guest as turkish, arabic, farsi and armenian. If you are what you pretend youl have as a true Non nomad people the same write in all those countries not taking ours lol.
Kid from where you think arabics come lol ? Dont mix arabs = syrians/lebanes, iraqis who build civilisations and Badouine (as you nomads) as saoudian, kowetians, quatarit etc... those people as you dont build civilisation. After sumerians come akadian after babylonian assyrian after Abhasit. You kurdish you dont even was here in the abhasit civilisation who is the muslim aira. In all our mesopotamian history you never existe lol...
Kid you are from center of Asia. History is not your fake kurdish propaganda school. Is a shame to erease the true history of your ancectors. You are nomads is no any nomads in mesopotamian civilisation.
Regarding Bamia kid is not about where historian found the 1st that vegetable but here is about the receipe. Is not at all kurdish receipe. Is no any kurdish receipe we know in middle east.. you cook our cuisine and you pretend is kurdish loool we have that cuisine before you come from center of asia.
You are as guest in our region. Dont abuse of our hospitality you already reach more than many limits....
Learn history kid at least by respect to your ancectors without you not be here today.

It is a iraqi arab food from arab tribe culture bamya means nothing in kurdish but in shrogi iraqi dialect it means the green thing. Kurds are iranian people they have iranian and persian culture not mesompotamian culture. The rest of iraqi people all the arabs, assyrians, syriac, turkmens, shabbaks, madeans and sabbea and marshland arabs are all related and have the same mesompotamian culture kurds are iranian people they share the iranian culture and they got the food culture and the dance and music culture from arabs.
