I definitely feel your pain about them not using the dinosaurs in the wild nearly as much as they should have Cris. Hell they setup a whole website to showcase them being in the wild yet did nothing with that plot point. In fact I remember walking out of the theater after I saw fallen kingdom, and just being so hyped for what they could do now that the dinosaurs are loose in the world. It’s sad to see that they wasted all the possible potential they had with that part of the story.

They all lasted for ages and had amazing slowed down scenes like when the IRaptor fell onto the skeleton, the Mosa jumped out the water and killed thr IRex. They could have easily made this the best movie yet they didn't.

After seeing in the theatre, I was disappointed and found myself agreeing with those critics who claim it is the worst of the franchise. If Trevorrow had stuck to the original premise of humans coexisting with dinosaurs, the film probably would have been better.
This movie had so much potential, when I saw the Trex taking over a drive-in in the trailers and everyone is running for their lives to get to this, I am speechless.
Well they want to introduce new scenes in the movie. Fans already saw the trailer so why not put in new scenes for the movie so fans aren't served refried beans.
I think in terms of story telling elements, the movie should have focused more on Dino’s interacting with the every day life of humans, and all of the Dino’s that were sold on the black market. I think the locust plot probably could have been avoided all together also. However, they did have some awesome action sequences with the dinosaurs, like getting to see the pyroraptor underwater or the dimetradons

The End Fight was a let down for me. Just how the Giganotosaurus conveniently dies to the claws of the other dinosaur was so laughable in my opinion. Felt like those were a one in a million chances of happening.
Just because it's a herbivore doesn't mean rexy is gonna kill it and also it helped rexy kill the giga, just like with blue helping rexy kill the indominus, she left blue alone after seeing blue was not a threat, and the therizinosaurus was not a threat and they both roared together after killing the giga, where's your brain
Well, yeah. Spino was kind of the main antagonist of that film while Rexy was basically a side character in this one. Hell, even BLUE wasn’t that relevant in this movie. It was more about her baby.
The Spinosaurus was the main antagonist in Jurassic Park III, so of course she would have more screentime, so I really don't see the point of this comment was.
I would describe this movie as “Messy Fun”. I think it has some interesting ideas and some great moments throughout mainly through the legacy/current cast and their interactions. I think the overall plot was just way too convoluted and yet somehow felt like it had no substance to it. I don’t know how to even put into words. I’d say overall, I had fun watching it but will I ever revisit it in the near future…??? Probably not
This movie was pretty good in my opinion. My main problem is that it doesn't really feel like "the epic conclusion" The ending is extremely unsatisfying because nothing changed from the beginning of the movie, so it kinda felt pointless.

I love how Colin confirmed that the 2 rexes at the end with rexy where the 2 from the lost world which was awesome! And I love the Giga design! And the therizinosaurus parts.

I usually stay away from sneak peeks and trailers… usually the teaser is enough for me so I didn’t have that expectation of dinosaurs interacting with civilians, but I will say this movie was longer than it should’ve been. Although I do agree that more Dino’s and civilian contact would’ve made for a more fun movie
Man, it’s not about watching teasers. They literally teased it in the previous movie. What was the trial and releasing of the dinosaurs about then? That’s like Batman Begins having the “Joker card” at the end but not having Joker in The Dark Knight.

I miss Spielberg's imagination and direction and Michael Crichton's advising on the smart science stuff to come together to make a great movie. They may not have leaned into the dinosaurs out in the world as much as expected, but I don’t think it’s fair to say they ignored it either. The whole action set piece in the second act was super fun. I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected.
You're somewhat right Right in the beginning of the film we're seeing several examples of how society reacts and exploits dinosaurs in some ways: hunting farms, saving from poachers and the black market. It was pushed aside the moment we started to get into the locust plotline
I took my 5 year old son to see it and he absolutely loved it. I’m right there with you tho Chris, the story was all over the place. Maybe they are gauging the movies for a younger audience and that’s why us adults have a hard time enjoying it fully. Seems like a lot of random mini plots and my son didn’t care about any of that, his eyes lit up every time he saw the next dinosaur they put on screen.
It’s so hard to talk about this movie because much like Chris I saw this movie twice and I have so many problems with this movie but there are some decent moments too. I loved the film, but it had the same problem with fallen kingdom, the main villain did not get enough screen time, the indominus rex was prob the best mainly bc he had more screen time in the first Jurassic world, and I would have liked to see the giga kill something

This movie was very enjoyable for me, been a long time a movie made me feel so giddy and happy... Sure it has some flaws, but their not as glaring as fallen kingdoms flaws... The biosyn sanctuary was so cool and very beautiful!... I agree with you that we needed more dinosaur scenes in the wild and in cities.

I thought the movie was good, not great but not the worst of the franchise, I didn’t like the whole locust plot because it took away from the dinosaurs and humans trying to cope together and it felt like there was no lesson learned like the dinosaurs are still scattered everywhere. I did like the OG characters interacting with the new cast and seeing new and practical dinosaurs
Was I the only one that when the dimetrodon sail was in the water, thought it was a spino and was silently going, "YES! YES! SPINO!!" Just to see dimetrodons.
I'm really disappointed in the movie. I thought we're gonna see dinos in the wild/realworld. But they only showed in the beginning and in the end some scenes. The greatest danger were insects? The story was boring to me. Even the chasing scenes felt ridiculous sometimes. The T-Rex standing directly infront of them and THAN they go around the car and how did everyone get so fast up the latter? Overall I thought it was only okay. The animation was very good and the little family was cute. And of course seeing everyone together was amazing. But I wouldn't watch it again.
The only thing that annoyed me was seeing a fake spoiler of a spinosaurus that had me waiting for an end credit scene that that wasn’t there, other than that just the fact that it went slow, then fast, then slow, then fast, but I loved it, still do wish we got more mainland dinosaur stuff, but I loved it.
I didn't really pay attention to the story structure, even though people may think it's poor, you can't really hate for what it is, it's not something really big like a marvel movie, I was just there in theaters because being a jurassic park fan just holds a special place in my heart, the new cool dinosaurs. Yes, even though the giganotosaurus got not much screen time, so didn't dilophosaurus, but everybody was hyped for them. For me, I am just there for an action, yes of course there our boring parts, like Maisy not being able to go outside, but the cinematography was phenomenal, and the CGI. It was really enjoyable for me, the cast came back, new dinosaurs, watched it with friends, it was good.
I watched the movie in double feature which included Jurassic park (1993) and Jurassic world dominion and I liked the first movie I felt like it was 1993 and Jurassic world dominion the opening made me hate it it didn’t show the prologue even though it was in the trailer but the battle scenes were epic.
I think this movie is fantastic. I was entertained the whole way through. I don’t understand the complaints of this movie being generic and to complicated. I found it extremely easy to follow the plot while not feeling like the movie was dumbing things down for me. This film also has one of the most unique stories in the franchise. I also don’t understand the complaint that the legacy characters were wasted. They have there own side plot that merges with the main plot beautifully in my opinion. I understand that this movie follows a similar format to other modern day blockbusters but I don’t care, that format works! The people that say this movie is generic are the same people that cheer in the theater when they see the legacy characters. Its cool if you don’t like this movie but I genuinely believe that this is a great movie that doesn’t deserve the criticism it’s getting.
I hated this movie. Worst part is that I was actually rooting for this movie to be good, but my GOD, I can't believe how dumb, poorly edited, poorly written and uninteresting it was. The next time I sit through this film, I am going to have to be REALLY drunk.

My big takeaway the moment I left the theatre was, "That was the exact same ending as FK." Aside from a couple of character things like Ellie and Alan kissing there was really nothing plot wise that felt like the entire series up to this point lead to this moment. If the previous two Jurassic World movies hyped up Biosyn as this new big bad competitive science place than Dodgson and that may have worked but it just feels so out of place for the writers to treat that one shady character in the first movie like the big bad threat both the new and old casts have to contend with. Very weird

I honestly had hope for this movie. I was expecting an epic, fresh yet nostalgic and emotional ending to the franchise. This was not it. I was hoping for the film to truly study wether or not dinosaurs could live humans peacefully. Have the old cast's ideals clash with the new cast's ideals(more specifically Ian vs Masie) but eventually learning to work together and come to an understanding at the end and work together to give the dinosaurs the chance they deserve (Include stuff like Alan confronting his fear of raptors via saving Blue and Beta, Henry Wu making up for his mistakes) And they definitely should of given Rexy her revenge ark. Include the Prologue as the introduction to the film, set up Rexy to being on the run and at the end, have her fight the Giga in the final battle, but by herself. No help at all. Just a bloody and hard fought out fight, resulting in her killing the Giga the same way it killed her. Edit; If I could change Fallen Kingdom as well, I would of not included the Indoraptor in the film(At least not as big of a role). Have the Indoraptor be kept as a mystery throughout the entire film. Not showing any proof at all, but instead leaving subtle hints to the fact that something is in the facility. Then by the time every dinosaur has escaped, Indoraptor is lose in the world. Leading to his role as main dinosaur villain in Jurassic World Dominion.

I was at the premiere and I was disappointed when I didn’t see Tim and Lex appear or even be mentioned in the movie Edit: Also, I think that Dodson should’ve been replaced with Wu or someone else, and the Giganotosaurus should’ve been replaced with the Spinosaurus for a rematch. My idea was that the Spino is the big bad of this film, just as scary as it was in JP3, and Blue helping Rexy take down the Spino
I saw the movie in a Cinemark and, I enjoyed the movie especially the Therezinosaurus (dinosaur with long claws), the fights, the Malta chase scene, and the T-Rex recreating the logo of the movie. And the Barbasol Can explained in season 5 of Camp Cretaceous.
I actually really like this movie while I do agree with most of the things you said however I do like the twice with Macy's mom and Henry Wu going throw a redemption arc. However my main disappointment is that that Spinosaurus felt missing from this movie. It seemed that literally every other dino from the franchise was in this movie except the Spino. While I liked the way the Giga was killed. I would think it would have been better if the Spino was involved in the final battle with the other two Rexs.

I think this movie is great no matter on what the critic or Rotten Tomatoes reviews are. Jurassic Park is number 1 and Jurassic World Dominion is number 2 with number 3 being Jurassic World. I loved Dominion no matter what since I'm a dinosaur nerd, and can't wait for the future!!!
I just saw this movie today!!! Honestly, I loved it. I found it very enjoyable and action packed. It was really awesome to see the original 3 from jurassic park. I'll give it a 10/10.
Real quick, Chris, it seems to be that almost every single reviewer I’ve watched thus far has mispronounced Giganotosauras. You’re saying it like, “Gigantosauras.” You know the word Gigabyte? Take the prefix of that word and combine it with “-notosauras.” And now you’re saying it right. Also, I was heavily disappointed with Colin deciding not bringing back the Spino. In the Amber mines, when I saw the sail, I thought that it was the Spino, but nope, it’s the Dimetrodon. Which, while really cool, served just as another simple danger in order for them to escape the mines.
I really enjoyed this movie. I knew what I was getting into. Every movie has just progressively gotten more Mission Impossible/Fast and Furious. It really made me smile to see Allen and Ellie get closure to their relationship. I also found the Therizinosaurus scene slot of fun and very old school JP imo. The Dimetrodon scene was tense and I always wondered since the first movie when they would introduce prehistoric insects. I really liked their explanation for their feathered dinosaurs as a accurate dino vs theme park dino juxtaposition. I had fun. I saw it in IMAX in the first couple rows and cracked a grin every time i had to turn my head to take in the whole dinosaur. That is DEFINITELY the best way to see it. It's better than Fallen Kingdom for sure and maybe that's where my expectations were.
Personally I thought it was a great movie sorry you don’t think that way but I’m really glad the Dino’s even though not being the main focus of the film got plenty of time to shine and unlike the last movie gave you reasons why these Dino’s are a pain but why we need them too. The actual is great. Characters for the most part were awesome. And I thought the locust plot was very interesting too and had very high stakes. I’m even seeing mixed opinions where I’ve seen that people hated the Dino screentime and loved it. I feel the Dino scenes were placed perfectly. And also I thought the villian was more realistic than the last mustache twirling villains too. Maybe dinosaurs weren’t the main focus but they had great scenes in this movie and were all throughout and yeah overall I give it a 7.5 or 8/10 but I respect your opinion great review. I love the original 3 cast, Sam, Laura, and Jeff, who is always quirky and funny & Chris Pratt, best. I wish they would have included Julianne Moore as Dr. Sarah Harding. Her book character is a real heroine. Can't wait to see the movie and the Dinosaurs. Mutated bugs? Are we going to get a move with prehistoric giant bugs next?
Omg I hope so! I am EXTREMELY interested in giant bugs. I research what they would be like and sound like. It's one of the most fascinating things to me because bugs are creepy and ugly. Just imagine them the size of trucks.
I think they threw the ‘Lockwood cloned his daughter’ plot away because of all the backlash and hate they got for it so now they just changed it to being made by her mother and being born rather then cloned in a test tube
I loved this movie and I did not mind the locusts subplot. I like Masie’s character because we find out why and how she was created.The one thing I wished that was inthis movie was more scenes with The Giganotosaurs.The reason why is because we only got like 4 scenes. I did like the suspense in this movie. I loved the legacy characters coming back as well which is one of my favorite parts. (Spoilers) The way The Giganotosaurs surprised me because some of the marketing made it look like that it was going to be squished by the viewing platform. Instead the T-Rex and the Therizinosaurs teamed up and killed the Giganotosaurs. The realationship between Claire and Masie was ok but with Owen he felt like they were daughter and father which I liked.I will rate Jurassic World Dominion a 9.5/10. Point 1: The tv spots coming out everyday completely ruined the suspense. I wasnt even trying to watch them but they still ended up either having a spoiler title/thumbnail on my feed or I accidentally saw it live on my tv. Legit watch all the tv spots in order and you watched the whole movie. Point 2: A movie about dinosaurs wreaking havoc in public domains is all of a sudden about flying locusts destroying the food chain? WHAT? ITS A MOVIE ABOUT DINOSAURS! NO ONE WOKE UP TODAY AND SAID TO THEMSELVES “hmm I really want to watch a dino based movie about bugs!” I may be coming off as a hater, but I’m not. I’m a fan of the franchise! I want to see these movies have high ratings and be enjoyable with or without Dinos. But since the company making these movies understands that no matter if they make a good movie or not they still get the money. And I don’t want to leave that Impression on them. I’m not asking for a remake of Jurassic park I’m asking to not make these movies feel like a chase grab.

My best friend and I are DIE HARD fans! We just got out of the movie theater and.. wow we spent over an hour and a half outside of the theater trying to understand what the hell we just saw. Our feelings are literally hurt. The characters felt like cartoons, the dialogue was cringey, the plot was stupid, the exposition was laughable at best. Wow. They really turned it into Fast and Furious 8. I’m very sad
Alan & Ellie saying "please open the door" to Ian when they were trapped came off as pretty awkward and Malcolm's joking at that moment ruined it even more. Who tf says PLEASE to their very close friend in a life-death situation. I interpreted it as Malcolm intentionally delaying opening the gates before reuniting with his friends or that scene diminishes their relationship from all Jurassic Park movies. The entire movie was filled with such half-baked lousy scenes.

The End Fight was a let down for me. Just how the Giganotosaurus conveniently dies to the claws of the other dinosaur was so laughable in my opinion. Felt like those were a one in a million chances of happening.

Well, yeah. Spino was kind of the main antagonist of that film while Rexy was basically a side character in this one. Hell, even BLUE wasn’t that relevant in this movie. It was more about her baby.

The Spinosaurus was the main antagonist in Jurassic Park III, so of course she would have more screentime, so I really don't see the point of this comment was.
I would describe this movie as “Messy Fun”. I think it has some interesting ideas and some great moments throughout mainly through the legacy/current cast and their interactions. I think the overall plot was just way too convoluted and yet somehow felt like it had no substance to it. I don’t know how to even put into words. I’d say overall, I had fun watching it but will I ever revisit it in the near future…??? Probably not

I love how Colin confirmed that the 2 rexes at the end with rexy where the 2 from the lost world which was awesome! And I love the Giga design! And the therizinosaurus parts.

I usually stay away from sneak peeks and trailers… usually the teaser is enough for me so I didn’t have that expectation of dinosaurs interacting with civilians, but I will say this movie was longer than it should’ve been. Although I do agree that more Dino’s and civilian contact would’ve made for a more fun movie
Man, it’s not about watching teasers. They literally teased it in the previous movie. What was the trial and releasing of the dinosaurs about then? That’s like Batman Begins having the “Joker card” at the end but not having Joker in The Dark Knight.

I miss Spielberg's imagination and direction and Michael Crichton's advising on the smart science stuff to come together to make a great movie. Sadly those days are gone and we are stuck in the 2020's era of Hollywood and filmmaking...DUMPSTER FIRE TRASH. Literally 90% of every entertainment media released is pure radiation garbage.
They may not have leaned into the dinosaurs out in the world as much as expected, but I don’t think it’s fair to say they ignored it either. The whole action set piece in the second act was super fun. I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected.
The second act took place on the island tho? Unless you’re talking about the fast and furious chase scene in Italy

Right in the beginning of the film we're seeing several examples of how society reacts and exploits dinosaurs in some ways: hunting farms, saving from poachers and the black market. It was pushed aside the moment we started to get into the locust plotline
I took my 5 year old son to see it and he absolutely loved it. I’m right there with you tho Chris, the story was all over the place. Maybe they are gauging the movies for a younger audience and that’s why us adults have a hard time enjoying it fully. Seems like a lot of random mini plots and my son didn’t care about any of that, his eyes lit up every time he saw the next dinosaur they put on screen.

It’s so hard to talk about this movie because much like Chris I saw this movie twice and I have so many problems with this movie but there are some decent moments too. I was extremely disappointed with the Giganotosaurus, he was completely wasted and I was super disappointed with that. They just over stuffed this movie. Out of all the Jurassic movies this is my 4th favorite Jurassic movie

I'm a VERY big Jurassic fan and this movie let me down a little bit.
Only thing that disappointed me was the Giga and Rexy fight, all that build up from the prologue and marketing building up the fight only for Rexy to get clapped

I was ok with how it was handled. She’s old, but they treated her with respect. She’s the face of the franchise after all. And in the end, she did push the other dinosaur to its death.

I heard a lot of bad things about dominion so when I saw it I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was now it had its bad parts and plot holes but I enjoyed it

The ending of the film was really really really terrible. It has good CGi and cinematography but unfortunately the horrible idea of Dinosaurs and humans interacting and being best buds felt forced and too safe, especially for some reason the mosasaurus is friends with whales...

I loved the film, but it had the same problem with fallen kingdom, the main villain did not get enough screen time, the indominus rex was prob the best mainly bc he had more screen time in the first Jurassic world, and I would have liked to see the giga kill something

This movie was very enjoyable for me, been a long time a movie made me feel so giddy and happy... Sure it has some flaws, but their not as glaring as fallen kingdoms flaws... The biosyn sanctuary was so cool and very beautiful!... I agree with you that we needed more dinosaur scenes in the wild and in cities.

I really like this movie, although I was initially disappointed they didn’t dive more into the dinosaurs in the world, but if you think about it the second half was amazing, and while critics hate it but it still has a 80% audience score as of now
60+20= 80. That can also make the RT score 80 percent. 80 does not mean everyone is drooling over this film.

As much as I enjoy these movies, they needed better writing. Both this and Fallen Kingdom had potential but they were never truly brought out.
Was I the only one that when the dimetrodon sail was in the water, thought it was a spino and was silently going, "YES! YES! SPINO!!" Just to see dimetrodons.

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time, and this just felt like Universal Spitting on my face.
I'm really disappointed in the movie. I thought we're gonna see dinos in the wild/realworld. But they only showed in the beginning and in the end some scenes. The greatest danger were insects? The story was boring to me.
Even the chasing scenes felt ridiculous sometimes. The T-Rex standing directly infront of them and THAN they go around the car and how did everyone get so fast up the latter?
Overall I thought it was only okay. The animation was very good and the little family was cute. And of course seeing everyone together was amazing. But I wouldn't watch it again.

The only thing that annoyed me was seeing a fake spoiler of a spinosaurus that had me waiting for an end credit scene that that wasn’t there, other than that just the fact that it went slow, then fast, then slow, then fast, but I loved it, still do wish we got more mainland dinosaur stuff, but I loved it.
What happened?! Exactly what I've kept asking for the last 24 hours.
I didn't really pay attention to the story structure, even though people may think it's poor, you can't really hate for what it is, it's not something really big like a marvel movie, I was just there in theaters because being a jurassic park fan just holds a special place in my heart, the new cool dinosaurs. Yes, even though the giganotosaurus got not much screen time, so didn't dilophosaurus, but everybody was hyped for them. For me, I am just there for an action, yes of course there our boring parts, like Maisy not being able to go outside, but the cinematography was phenomenal, and the CGI. It was really enjoyable for me, the cast came back, new dinosaurs, watched it with friends, it was good.
I watched the movie in double feature which included Jurassic park (1993) and Jurassic world dominion and I liked the first movie I felt like it was 1993 and Jurassic world dominion the opening made me hate it it didn’t show the prologue even though it was in the trailer but the battle scenes were epic.
If anything the Indominus Rex felt more like the Joker character because in the movie it said that it was killing for sport
I think this movie is fantastic. I was entertained the whole way through. I don’t understand the complaints of this movie being generic and to complicated. I found it extremely easy to follow the plot while not feeling like the movie was dumbing things down for me. This film also has one of the most unique stories in the franchise. I also don’t understand the complaint that the legacy characters were wasted. They have there own side plot that merges with the main plot beautifully in my opinion. I understand that this movie follows a similar format to other modern day blockbusters but I don’t care, that format works! The people that say this movie is generic are the same people that cheer in the theater when they see the legacy characters. Its cool if you don’t like this movie but I genuinely believe that this is a great movie that doesn’t deserve the criticism it’s getting.
I hated this movie. Worst part is that I was actually rooting for this movie to be good, but my GOD, I can't believe how dumb, poorly edited, poorly written and uninteresting it was. The next time I sit through this film, I am going to have to be REALLY drunk.

My big takeaway the moment I left the theatre was, "That was the exact same ending as FK."
Aside from a couple of character things like Ellie and Alan kissing there was really nothing plot wise that felt like the entire series up to this point lead to this moment.
If the previous two Jurassic World movies hyped up Biosyn as this new big bad competitive science place than Dodgson and that may have worked but it just feels so out of place for the writers to treat that one shady character in the first movie like the big bad threat both the new and old casts have to contend with. Very weird

I honestly had hope for this movie.
I was expecting an epic, fresh yet nostalgic and emotional ending to the franchise.
This was not it.
I was hoping for the film to truly study wether or not dinosaurs could live humans peacefully.
Have the old cast's ideals clash with the new cast's ideals(more specifically Ian vs Masie) but eventually learning to work together and come to an understanding at the end and work together to give the dinosaurs the chance they deserve
(Include stuff like Alan confronting his fear of raptors via saving Blue and Beta, Henry Wu making up for his mistakes)
And they definitely should of given Rexy her revenge ark. Include the Prologue as the introduction to the film, set up Rexy to being on the run and at the end, have her fight the Giga in the final battle, but by herself. No help at all. Just a bloody and hard fought out fight, resulting in her killing the Giga the same way it killed her.
Edit; If I could change Fallen Kingdom as well, I would of not included the Indoraptor in the film(At least not as big of a role). Have the Indoraptor be kept as a mystery throughout the entire film. Not showing any proof at all, but instead leaving subtle hints to the fact that something is in the facility. Then by the time every dinosaur has escaped, Indoraptor is lose in the world. Leading to his role as main dinosaur villain in Jurassic World Dominion.

Edit: Also, I think that Dodson should’ve been replaced with Wu or someone else, and the Giganotosaurus should’ve been replaced with the Spinosaurus for a rematch. My idea was that the Spino is the big bad of this film, just as scary as it was in JP3, and Blue helping Rexy take down the Spino
I saw the movie in a Cinemark and, I enjoyed the movie especially the Therezinosaurus (dinosaur with long claws), the fights, the Malta chase scene, and the T-Rex recreating the logo of the movie. And the Barbasol Can explained in season 5 of Camp Cretaceous.
Agree entirely. I had my hopes really high, so maybe it was me? However, every Carnotaurus and Dilophosaurus scene had me beaming.

I actually really like this movie while I do agree with most of the things you said however I do like the twice with Macy's mom and Henry Wu going throw a redemption arc. However my main disappointment is that that Spinosaurus felt missing from this movie. It seemed that literally every other dino from the franchise was in this movie except the Spino. While I liked the way the Giga was killed. I would think it would have been better if the Spino was involved in the final battle with the other two Rexs.
I and my wife actually liked it. We thought it was a good mix of people vs dinos and I actually understood the locust storyline.

I think this movie is great no matter on what the critic or Rotten Tomatoes reviews are. Jurassic Park is number 1 and Jurassic World Dominion is number 2 with number 3 being Jurassic World. I loved Dominion no matter what since I'm a dinosaur nerd, and can't wait for the future!!!

I just saw this movie today!!! Honestly, I loved it. I found it very enjoyable and action packed. It was really awesome to see the original 3 from jurassic park. I'll give it a 10/10.
Real quick, Chris, it seems to be that almost every single reviewer I’ve watched thus far has mispronounced Giganotosauras. You’re saying it like, “Gigantosauras.” You know the word Gigabyte? Take the prefix of that word and combine it with “-notosauras.” And now you’re saying it right. Also, I was heavily disappointed with Colin deciding not bringing back the Spino. In the Amber mines, when I saw the sail, I thought that it was the Spino, but nope, it’s the Dimetrodon. Which, while really cool, served just as another simple danger in order for them to escape the mines.
I really enjoyed this movie. I knew what I was getting into. Every movie has just progressively gotten more Mission Impossible/Fast and Furious. It really made me smile to see Allen and Ellie get closure to their relationship. I also found the Therizinosaurus scene slot of fun and very old school JP imo. The Dimetrodon scene was tense and I always wondered since the first movie when they would introduce prehistoric insects. I really liked their explanation for their feathered dinosaurs as a accurate dino vs theme park dino juxtaposition. I had fun. I saw it in IMAX in the first couple rows and cracked a grin every time i had to turn my head to take in the whole dinosaur. That is DEFINITELY the best way to see it. It's better than Fallen Kingdom for sure and maybe that's where my expectations were.
Personally I thought it was a great movie sorry you don’t think that way but I’m really glad the Dino’s even though not being the main focus of the film got plenty of time to shine and unlike the last movie gave you reasons why these Dino’s are a pain but why we need them too. The actual is great. Characters for the most part were awesome. And I thought the locust plot was very interesting too and had very high stakes. I’m even seeing mixed opinions where I’ve seen that people hated the Dino screentime and loved it. I feel the Dino scenes were placed perfectly. And also I thought the villian was more realistic than the last mustache twirling villains too. I love the original 3 cast, Sam, Laura, and Jeff, who is always quirky and funny & Chris Pratt, best. I wish they would have included Julianne Moore as Dr. Sarah Harding. Her book character is a real heroine. Can't wait to see the movie and the Dinosaurs. Mutated bugs? Are we going to get a move with prehistoric giant bugs next?
Omg I hope so! I am EXTREMELY interested in giant bugs. I research what they would be like and sound like. It's one of the most fascinating things to me because bugs are creepy and ugly. Just imagine them the size of trucks.

I loved this movie and I did not mind the locusts subplot. I like Masie’s character because we find out why and how she was created.The one thing I wished that was inthis movie was more scenes with The Giganotosaurs.The reason why is because we only got like 4 scenes. I did like the suspense in this movie. I loved the legacy characters coming back as well which is one of my favorite parts. (Spoilers) The way The Giganotosaurs surprised me because some of the marketing made it look like that it was going to be squished by the viewing platform. Instead the T-Rex and the Therizinosaurs teamed up and killed the Giganotosaurs. The realationship between Claire and Masie was ok but with Owen he felt like they were daughter and father which I liked.I will rate Jurassic World Dominion a 9.5/10. Point 1: The tv spots coming out everyday completely ruined the suspense. I wasnt even trying to watch them but they still ended up either having a spoiler title/thumbnail on my feed or I accidentally saw it live on my tv. Legit watch all the tv spots in order and you watched the whole movie.
Point 2: A movie about dinosaurs wreaking havoc in public domains is all of a sudden about flying locusts destroying the food chain? WHAT? ITS A MOVIE ABOUT DINOSAURS! NO ONE WOKE UP TODAY AND SAID TO THEMSELVES “hmm I really want to watch a dino based movie about bugs!”
I may be coming off as a hater, but I’m not. I’m a fan of the franchise! I want to see these movies have high ratings and be enjoyable with or without Dinos. But since the company making these movies understands that no matter if they make a good movie or not they still get the money. And I don’t want to leave that Impression on them. I’m not asking for a remake of Jurassic park I’m asking to not make these movies feel like a chase grab.

I very much enjoyed it. I feel like they need one more film that deals with people taking sides on Dinosaurs co existing. They also need all the leads back again and someone(s) important should die. Do the Dinos take over and we become extinct?

My best friend and I are DIE HARD fans! We just got out of the movie theater and.. wow we spent over an hour and a half outside of the theater trying to understand what the hell we just saw. Our feelings are literally hurt. The characters felt like cartoons, the dialogue was cringey, the plot was stupid, the exposition was laughable at best. Wow. They really turned it into Fast and Furious 8. I’m very sad
I fully enjoyed this movie. It was everything I wanted it to be. I rank it 2nd best to OG Jurassic Park.

it was a jumbled mess of crap...i was very disappointed....it was a bunch of B.S.! it just didn't make any sense to me

Alan & Ellie saying "please open the door" to Ian when they were trapped came off as pretty awkward and Malcolm's joking at that moment ruined it even more. Who tf says PLEASE to their very close friend in a life-death situation. I interpreted it as Malcolm intentionally delaying opening the gates before reuniting with his friends or that scene diminishes their relationship from all Jurassic Park movies. The entire movie was filled with such half-baked lousy scenes.
I loved it man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Second best Jurassic movie in my movie, I do wish they focused more on Dino’s more than Human clones and locusts but it wasn’t as bad as people said, I didn’t really mind tho I looked over that and enjoyed the movie, it was just awesome loved it!!! And plus kinda dark so mush Dino’s and the Malta scene is just awesome
And yes I wish there was more dinosaurs across the world, but even tho it was enough for me
I feel the same way as you, they could’ve stuck to Dino’s being out in the wild but they changed it up and I think it worked out. It doesn’t deserve this much hate, people are just so rude and it makes me mad.
