people not understanding the kid is on the spectrum is crazy, theres a dishwasher in my restaurant and you just listen even if they repeat the same a thousand times, you can see their faces light up when you just pay the tiniest attention to them, if you ever find one just give them 10 minutes and youll make somebodies day and maybe week.
Wake is an incredible guy for this, and chat did their part by at least tripling his subscriber count in about like 20 minutes. I thought the 'waiting in line' part of nicks stream would have been boring but this was incredibly sweet.
I’d like to point out, repeating yourself over and over when on the spectrum. Is often a tell sign of over stimulation. Bro was trying his best to stay grounded in the moment. Actually really proud of Nick and Wake. I expect that patience out of Wake. Nick read the room excellently. Gladiator, (for once said without sarcasm).

No cap, i was in there spamming "be nice chat" over and over because i can't stand when people bully socially awkward or special needs individuals. I work in mental health and I get heated when people bully someone who is trying to put themselves out there.
@@cantgetriightimo he wasn't really socially awkward. i think its just people find it awkward. i dont think he thinks hes being awkward. i had some friends on the spectrum and most literally live in their own awesome world. have a ton of fire interests and give good energy. sad nick can't just go with the flow.

He brings a ton of positivity about his interests which isn't a bad thing, it's just something that people who don't have friends on the spectrum aren't accustomed to. I work with special needs individuals and he seems like he would be my favorite type of client because i love nerding out on anime and sci-fi movies. It's just sad that people in chat are so ableist.
Nick AND wake make a strangers day. The 1 on 1 with wake I actually see mean more than the sub count. But the sub count in the long run will be very beneficial as well if he ends up with more friends if they become regulars to his youtube channel.
