Started maining Blasco because of new spot system in bf2042, and she became my favourite. Best specialist for rush, very mobile, sneaky, just run to your enemies backs, place a spawn beacon, and soon all your squad will be there. Almost always fighting in close quaters, using SMG or shotguns, and throwing knifes. All you need is to flank enemies and silently ternimate them.
My worst yet best spot game with Blasco on flashpoint was 121 spot assist. Slapped her jammer & a tugs in high traffic spots on objectives and simply hung back defending the flanks. Dorito watchers hate her and I love it.
Blasco with the C5, Irish with the trophy system, Mckay with spawn becon and Zane with the spotting gadget. With a team like that, you could easily defend ant point
Ranger is pretty much confirmed sentient. From one of the X-mad player cards last year and from the description of the Ranger drone to the animation where you can pet it. It’s not a basic AI that reads a file and calculates that your an enemy like Boris sentry. So yeah, it probably still recognises someone as an enemy
I'm thinking the ranger drone reads you as an enemy either by line of sight, firing on it or simply holding a weapon because I saw a video of a guy walking right up to one and kill it easily with the repair gun while it was shooting at someone else.
Also, we recently learned from Dice dev that they didn't design it but a Ranger picked up a weapon. It wasn't coded in or taught. It. Picked. Up. A. Weapon. We're so f'd up.

Great stuff! I do think that an LMG is the best weapon to use though. I try to get behind lines with the infiltration device, then gun everything down with the LMG, as you don’t hardly ever need to reload with it, so flanks are pretty simple.
You should do weapon guides for a continuation of the how to not suck series. Don’t know how you’re gonna make those vids different, but at least you have an option for future vids. Great stuff as always man!!
How would you suggest I do a weapon guide? Because to me, all I can think of is reading off weapon stats and suggesting a loadout, which seems... bland? I don't know how helpful that would be.
@Catalyst_HD I think those things would certainly be a part of it but you could discuss playstyles or suggest optimal ranges of engagement. I tend to play every gun the same, which is probably not the best way to be. Recently started running the AC42, and it just works well for how I play. I don't 100% understand how certain attachments impact each weapon and whether or not some attachments are even necessary. I do understand not wanting to create content that is bland but as someone who was looking up weapon guides just yesterday I'm sure there's a way to make it interesting. Plus there will be a lot of new players coming in with the game going to PS Plus. Just my 2 cents.
for some reason you are not able to place the infiltration device inside smoke which is really annoying. another thing that is annoying is the big red name above enemy players head(you can even change it to brighter colors), the way it worked in BFV was just fine imo and i never understood all the people complaining about visibility seeing as i almost never camped in that game and was almost always on the offensive.
I loved bf5 and I also liked the lack of spotting as well as many other mechanics in that game but visibility was horrendous for ages from launch until they improved it a lot. I never camp either since it's never been my play style but especially in rubble on devastation, on the rocks in that mountain map I can't remember the name of and a few other places players would just like down and basically be invisible which was a nightmare when mmgs were super op. I tested it on devastation in some rubble at the cathedral with the mg42 and enemies were looking right at me and running over me with no idea I was there until I fired. After nearly 50 kills without even moving they finally killed me by spamming grenades over me lol which to be honest I didn't mind because by that point I just felt dirty

I dont mind the device and all its perks, but that static noise you get within the radius is so annoying and it bugs too where even outside of the radius the noise persists so for me its borderline unplayable. This needs some adjustments.
Been playing 2042 for just two days now and I noticed how much spotting there is in this game right away! The amount of time I’ll be in a little cubby hole only for 1-4 enemies to all come from different angles and to all be already staring straight at me.. wtf!! But using Blasco and even the grass heads with mystical awareness around them will run right past me and have no clue.far and away my favorite specialist. I’m coming from playing BF1 for nearly 8 f’n years and playing a recon with with Inconspicuous and slink, my weapon with the most kills is a Broken Bottle I’ve shoved in the bellies of over 10k people. I want my STEALTH dammit! 😂 Blasco 4 Life.
@Catalyst_HD If i may ask you know when you are playing solo coop etc why does the game keep swapping you on Russians side then back to Usa side? I don't like when it switchs you to Russian side if you want play on usa side. Is that integrated and part of the game.. Sometimes I play with Irish but find out we are on Russian side instead of USA.??

Roa is number 1 for my play style, especially since vehicle hacks are still strong. Second WAS Irish for aggressive team play. Blasko is now my #2 slot. Very aggressive, stealth w spawn beacon specialist. Cherry on top she’s a latina. 🤓👍🏽
Can i ask you why when you aimdown, your sight is not blurry? With this sight its always blurry for me but with the triangle scope its not dont you know why?

her design concept is stupid, the idea behind her speciality is that you always have to be in the middle of the shit fest surrounded by enemies to make user of her gadget, but in that situation you'll most likely die before your gadget does anything .. so WTF ? only thing her distruptor does is annoy the enemies for like 5 seconds until they find you and kill you ..and it just lets the enemies know you're there , ironically giving away your presence in the area :steamfacepalm:
It definitely weakens him. But to say he is useless isn't the case. There is still A LOT of spotting potential with his kit, even if the jammer is a huge counter.
nah, Blasco is the most useless specialist in the game, on paper she's great, but in practice she's stupid and useless, Casper can stay hidden somehere safe and operate the drone from a distance, Blasco has to be in the middle of the shit fest surrounded by enemies to make use of her gadget , and most likely you'll die before your gadget does you any good.....the only time Blasco is kinda viable is on the defense side in breakthrough, and ironically her gadget gives away your presence in the area and lets the enemies know you're there somewhere

Q-spam spotting should definately spot people within the radius of the device. Its like you are seeing the people with your eyes but brain tells you there is nobody to report haha. so stupid and also unrealistic.

@@darkknight097 the soflam has a red glint similar to a sniper scope. The counter is a sniper rifle. The drone is super op but the counter is you don't get to see action. That's why only designated bitches of a squad will spot while the others go in.. it's like getting cucked.. you only get to watch. So most players won't unless bullied
@Dennis Collier Even with the glint, you're not shooting and drawing attention like a sniper. So unless someone is actively searching for someone using a soflam, they're not likely get sniped. Meanwhile, the entire enemy team is being spotted and lit up on the minimap. And then they'd wonder why they got blown off an objective. But I guess your team would be too worried about being the "designated bitch" to use such a powerful advantage lol.
@@darkknight097 in my experience yes. Most people would rather work as a team of one and get kills on a losing team than to sit on the sidelines 0 - 0 with 100 spot assist on a winning one

Blasco with tugs will turn any half-decent squad into a killer infiltration / counter-infiltration team for any objective on any map
By the way, aircraft can be under the effects of the jammer, so you can avoid stinger locks since below radar only effects vehicle locks

the new AR, as long as you use the short barrel attachment, is basically the Bulldog from BF4. so if you liked that gun then you'll like the new one
id rather like to know how your crosshair just stays where you aim it so i can melt a sniper aiming at me before he gets a shot off too.

So it turns out, even when you destroy the jammer, there is still some static, so that is just a bug that there trying to fix.

X6 + TUGs are the best combo for BT, already get her Tier 1, playing her like assault class

This is the end of the series, but I previously covered all the specialists individually over the last year. There likely wont be a HTNS for classes.

It’s a setting I tweaked in the prosave file. It’s a PC thing.

ONE player can sit up on a high perch with a soflam and spot the entire enemy team. There definitely needed to be counter to that
