Hi Morgan, this is mainly to make cuban coffee, you make the top crema out of whipping sugar with first spoon of brewed coffee and then combine after brewing is done
Morgan, this format really suits your personality. It’s a great video and your voice over together with the video edit creates a unique balance. Love it.
i found if you put a tea bag cut into the shape of the protofilter then tamp your coffee on top then pull the shot it takes a bit longer to pull the shot but way better on the shot.
This is also a testament to how skilled you are as a barista…making a cafe quality looking drink from that machine!!! You’re amazing and love your videos!!
Hi Morgan just a thing you should have taken out the plastic black part that was attached to the frothing wand to get a better vortex and you should have grinded the coffee more
I appreciate you trying out the 2 cheapest espresso machine in Amazon. Would you also try Breville Stilosa which is the most affordable espresso machine for a name brand.
If youre having issues with things sliding around on the counter.. put a damp rag under it.. works great. I use this when dealin with cutting boards that are slick. Im looking into esspresso machines as a way to extract shikimic acid (main ingredient in tamiflu.. usually extracted from star anise, but apparently its also in certain pine needles which are readily available for alot of us in the US) from pine needles. Essentially pine needle tea.. but there is a study out of australia that used esspresso machines as a household way to do it. Pretty interesting
Hey Morgan, thanks so much for the review! I really enjoyed your video. I was wondering if you can do reviews on like supermarket brand Italian coffees? :) Like what you can recommend to use using french press, aeropress and what coffee is your favorite. Thanks :)

I just bought this machine under a different brand name (Selecline) but same model. Im actually happy u say its mocha, as i drink mocha now and was looking for something that makes similar coffee. Paid 25€ and if it makes a decent mocha, I'm cool. 😊 still saves me the having to light the stove etc procedure of traditional mocha pots and i think it even looks cute. @@gabrielahuallanca This. This. 1000x this. I kinda hate Morgan a bit for taking away any excuses I have for not being able to do it better. Just rocks up with any old machine and gets better results than me, no matter how many more coffee toys I buy. It's such a skill she has. :)

Hello Morgan, I can ask your opinion - I have exactly this inexpensive version of a coffee maker at work..., the question is whether the quality of the coffee (drink) will improve if you use double coffee baskets (with a double bottom) and a reusable mesh filter in the basket to distribute the water throughout the coffee maker tablet for better wetting..? Hey im from Argentina, and i just wanted to get better coffee, and since im not earning much money i decided to buy a machine that i could afford, its a tedge machine, tho its better known as an AICOOK 3.5BAR "EXPRESS". Of course i know it cant pull an espresso with that pressure and its better off using with a medium grind. The coffee isnt bad, tho its not an espresso, i would call it a half presso? semi presso? thought you could find the machine and maybe give it a review! maybe you teach us how to make better coffee with it too! oh, and it has a steamer! love the channel, and i feel like the editing is on point, from a video editor standpoint. the quality of your content is awesome! Thank you for sharing what you tried, but do you know which one will actually be a real expression shot maker? That would be very very helpful to know what to buy but this was as well to k is what NOT to buy. I ask you because you seem pretty knowledgeable about the coffee field.
Maybe next time it'll be interesting to get an espresso machine that in the reviews people say is a great espresso machine and see if they're right. Like the best-reviewed espresso machine or something.

Hi Morgan! I want to buy a Gaggia New Classic and I’m looking for a grinder. I’ve seen some manual and automatic but most of them are very expensive. I think I’ll think of this machine as a moka pot with steam wand and I might get it just to kinda get use to milk frothing and general knowledge of coffee (I haven’t ever had a machine before) then in around half a year I’ll get a proper one 👍 great vid btw
Of course since I moved and bought this house a year ago I do not know where my moka pot is! I don't know where any thing is that I need or want and I have been purchasing things I can't find which are going to turn up and I'll need to give the old ones to my caregiver and old I mean by 12 months old! I would like to make a great cup of coffee at home but I don't want the perfect cup at home because that gives me no place to go when I want my favorite cafe coffee! I could probably make my favorite cafe coffee at home but that defeats my purpose of wanting to go out occasionally for coffee for my favorite coffee! :-)
I would think the crash you get from coffee depends on the strength of the coffee itself. I tend to grind my own coffee, that way it's a lot fresher and that's something you can taste. If you want weak coffee, might as well have tea at that point. Maybe a delicious tea like Yorkshire Gold. The Queen and the Spiffing Brit will thank you.
