Wow, I just bought a New 2023 RMAX 4 XTR on sale and the first Mod I wanted to do was a street legal kit. I wanted to find a kit that utilized the installed lighting didn't want to install any funky little amber round lights so this is exactly what I wanted thanks for putting this together, I'll be ordering my kit today!!
You will love it!!! Thanks for watching.
Great video. I purchased this kit and have been deciding if I should install it or pay someone. Your video confirmed that this is a very big job. However, you also showed me that I can do it. Thank you very much for the step by step guide. It may take me a week, but I have the confidence that I can complete this, thanks to your video!!! Much appreciated.
You got this 💪🏽. Just take it one step at a time.
Thanks you for the great feedback.
Thanks for the video, It has helped me prepare for this project.
You are welcome! Hope it goes smoothly for you.
Thank you for this video! 🙌
I never would have made it this far by reading the instructions. Half way done, gonna finish tomorrow. 🤞
Thanks for the feedback. So glad it helped. Good luck tomorrow.
All done!! Thanks again!
Outstanding
I cannot express my THANKS enough. Because of this video I had great success on my install. I followed your video step by step from start to end. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I’m so glad it helped!!!
Thanks for taking the time to do this! 👊🏽
I’m glad it helped.
Thank you! Just finished my install. I followed your video all the way through. Multiple times. It was VERY helpful. It is a big job. To finish up, i'm looking for some better plastic push pins. I hate the ones that Yamaha provides. The slot in the pin is difficult to access. I have heard there are better options. Thank you again!
So glad this video helped. Yeah those push pins do suck but I haven’t had much luck with push pins in general. I always end up braking them.
Thank you for putting this video together. I really like the integrated front turn signal lights. Do you have the SuperATV brush guard on your RMAX and do you like it?
Thanks for watching. No, the brush guard is not from superatv. The previous owner made the brush guard himself.
I didn't notice where the power gets hooked up?
Go to the 1 hour mark on this video and it should explain it. Basically Yamaha puts about 5 quick connects behind the plastic wall. The connection should be white in color and possibly has a brown and black wire going to it. Hope this helps.
awesome video just finished up mine on 2023 rmax 4 you did a great job with this video, and you explain everything nice and slow.
FYI RYCO must have paid attention to your video my kit came with the quick connect. one question is when you went to put your firewall back on did you
stuff all the connections from wire harness back behind firewall and did you have to drill or cut a hole to alow wires to stay under hood?
thanks again for your video.
I am so glad this video was able to help. For me I was able use the original cut out for the in the fire wall for all the wires but it was really tight. If that didn’t work then I was going to make that hole a little bigger to fit it all through. I’ll send you some pictures of mine. Thanks again for watching.
Unfortunately I’m unable to figure out how to send a photo on this platform. If you have Facebook messenger I can send them to you that way.
Good video. I did this same install about 2 weeks ago. I took the entire front fender off to get to those front lights so wish I had seen this first. My kit did come with a Yamaha accessory plug with 2 bullet adapters for the power, so I wonder if that was just missing from your kit.
Thanks for watching. Its funny that you mention taking the front fender off because I did the same thing on my passenger side until I realized I really didn’t need to take it all off. The instructions were vague on it.
