When I was in grad school, I met a man who told me how his 7 year old son didn't know the difference between a toy and a tomato. I took from the conversation a powerful lesson about the differences between producers and consumers.
Producers concern themselves with life cycle analysis, supply chain and scale. Consumers merely complain about not getting what they want. If complaints don't work, they escalate. If escalation doesn't work they take their business elsewhere. That is fine when we're talking about shoes, hand bags and cell phones. But how about your destiny?
