If you take the exam online with Pearson (maybe it's the same with other companies), they provide you with a little calculator tool in their exam software, in case you're at all concerned about having to multiply SLAs or calculate uptime/downtime in your head.

Question - if you were asked to "calculate the composite (or combined) SLA for a collection of Azure services, one or more of which was at the Free Tier, or was in Preview" would you say the SLA is 0%, or undefined, or N/A, or what? I don't suppose the AZ-900 test will ask this, I'm just curious.
Excellent question. No SLA for me means 0%. There isn't any guarantee of the service availability, with preview services it's even worse because 'preview' is basically BETA. So Microsoft might decide that this service gets discontinued, of course they will give you time to migrate/redesign but still. But often I use no SLA services in narrow scenarios where they don't touch my end users. So even if they fail my users don't get impacted at all, in worst case they get data refresh delayed.
Hi Adam, i'd like a clarification regarding your values for the OR availability calculus. If it is 99.95% to the web app, how can you get those 0.05% values? Because 0.05% is completely different from 99.95%. At least if the calculation is 100% - ((100%-99.95%) * (100%-99.95%))

Dzieki, no, ja ciagle pracuje nad jakoscia. Od 2 lat mam raz w tygodniu sesje 1:1 a brytyjczykiem. Omawiamy bledy wymowy, intonacji, predkosci mowienia, sprawdza i oglada moje video, itp. Duzo tam pracy poszlo. Techniki prezentacji co jakis czas ogladam na YT czy jakeis szkolonko i zawsze jakis maly improvement sobie wyciagne (okolo 5% ze szkolenia wyciagam). Aktorskich brak. Emisje glosu mialem na studiach, ale ja akurat dykcje zawsze mialem dobra. Doswiadczenie tez wiadomo duzo pomaga. Ale dzieki za komentarz, zawsze milo uslyszec ze praca nie idzie na marne. :)

Hello Adam Is it possible to make a video on Azure AppGateway?? If we create a service then we will have the service URL, Lets say if we have the swagger link for that service then anyone can access, so for the customer faced URL's we can secure that service URL using the app gateway right and also if we want to pass the customerId parameterid in the query param then its not a good idea so we can send it using the JWT token.. 1) Create a Web api endpoint with asp net core which also have the customer info properties needs to pass in the querystring/body. 2) secure the service URL with app gateway which have the subscripion key so that only the services which want to consume needs to pass that subscription key 3) instead of passing the important customer details in the header/queryparams we can send it using JWT.

Might do app gateway in the future, thanks for the idea. For the URL query param, not sure whats the issue with customerid in the url.
SLA can it be between an individual and MS or is it has to be a company?
It's between the customer and MS. Anyone can be a customer if they pay.
