He waited for 2 1/2 years to appoint an independent counsel. 2 1/2 years after the Capitol was stormed. 2 1/2 years after members of Congress, including Mitch McConnel asked for investigation and prosecution. 2 1/2 years after several state attorneys general deferred their cases against Trump and his fake electors. 2 1/2 years during which the January 6 committee referred a number of cases to Justice for prosecution.
Garland's intransigence can only be interpreted as an intentional slow-walking of prosecution in an effort to protect Trump. He's not fooling anyone.
They waited two and half years because it was a plan, and they all went along with it, and they are all going to be prosecuted for it. You can't use indictments against the political opposition as a campaign strategy and get away with it. Heads are gonna roll.
