I honestly think they would have ranked higher if the choreography and line distribution were better. I understand that the choreographer changed the formation to what she thought was a better fit visually (i.e. having the younger idols center most of the time), but it really lowered the vocal quality of the song because it gave the weaker singers the most parts. This song is catchy, sweet and has a lot of potential to become popular. The problem is that there was no balance, not just in the vocals, but visuals as well. If I were an audience member, I'd be confused as to why a singer with mediocre vocals had so many lines when others with stronger vocals had so little. Add in the fact that the stronger singers are just as beautiful and popular. They may be older, but I think their presence adds elegance to the performance and a better distribution/formation would have made it much better.
