50:00 is actual fight with Jasmine. Waz gud NappyNation. Finally getting in episode. Had an emotional day. And here's Nappy knowing how to cheer ppl up. R.I.P. Gary... May he go back to the pineapple under the sea. Sophia is gonna come back on the team again. Assault Vest Empoleon works great here as well. And a High Sp Atk Psychic type to take out the Regieleki.
This series is making me start to love some of these Pokémon you wouldn’t normally see people use. Todays entire team other than slowbro, I’ve never used before but this makes me want to.
Glad to see this return this is a SCARY ONE. Like, damn. From what I understand permanent magma storm means that UNLESS the mon out is a fire type it cannot switch out which means May has disgusting revenge kill potential here on top of the 1/16th taken every turn. So it's basically like the chandelure match but worse. dope. So the name of the game is FIRE TYPES, UTURN/FLIPTURN/VOLTSWITCH, the SHED SHELL item or even lefties where possible! Rapid spin could be an option since normally it frees you from it but I figured since it's permanent that it would only work for the individual mon and it resets when a new mon comes in. That'd be cool, but I'd test that to be sure you can switch if given the chance. Honestly considering how little chance you have for switching, and with taking chip damage every turn, using more offensive fast pivot mons might be the move here. I didn't find time to put something together this time around, but I figured I'd leave this comment here at the very least! I'm sure with what you have there'll be something dope someone will find out!
Not Gary!!! He looked so much like Liberty Prime from the Fallout games. Sophia did an excellent job tanking hits and debuffing the opponents. Vernon handled the Magnezone but, screw that Genesect tho!
Mega Rayquaza(No stone), Latios, Latias, Mewtwo, Alpha Kyogre, Omega Groudon, Deoxys Meteorites? Just some other legendaries with forms that use a stone I guess
I'll have to sit this team build out unfortunately. That being said, Pamela the Emboar seems like a good start for the team. Just a quick thought, but Slowbro and Rhyperior/Krookodile help shut down the Regileki.
I watch a RUclips vid on how to beat may Your going to need a Pokémon with volt switch and u turn and ghost type Pokémon can switch out and regieleki will always use explosion
I return to team building with more ideas. Some moves you see are here because a Mon may only need 1 or 2 moves so I just kinda filled in the blanks. I know the magma storm can make this annoying, and I kinda just autopiloted into sitrus berries more often than not, but someone left a comment about shed shells helping so maybe those are smarter. Hope this helps :-] Lopunny @ Sitrus Berry Level: 73 Adamant Nature Ability: Limber - Fake Out - High Jump Kick - Ice Punch - U-turn Okay I know its kinda suspect because logic tells you to run this with its mega stone but I kinda needed that for something else but don't worry you can still fake out and use high jump kick to confirm the kill and besides there's literally like no chance you miss it like actually zero don't fret do not fear :] Magnezone @ Sitrus Berry Level: 73 Modest Nature Ability: Analytic - Thunderbolt - Flash Cannon - Sleep Talk - Tri Attack Okay this totally may not be optimal but that thing wants to put mons to sleep and its attacks are doing fuck all to magnezone so i found it kinda funny to just run sleep talk since every other move will at least 2 shot. Plus if magnezone gets put to sleep they can't sleep your other mons (or at least I hope the AI has to follow the same rules?). Rhyperior @ Sitrus Berry Level: 73 Impish Nature Ability: Solid Rock - Earthquake - Rock Slide - Hammer Arm - Poison Jab All Regieleki can do to Rhyperior is explode and I made him impish just to be petty and lower the damage as much as possible, this is a case of he only needs earthquake so i just filled in the other moves with shit that could work. Araquanid @ Sitrus Berry Level: 73 Adamant Nature Ability: Water Absorb - Leech Life - Liquidation - Toxic - Infestation So this is an awkward one but in the spirit of looking to take as little damage as possible because of the magma storm your leech life regen will literally offset slowbro's body press and then some. However this is a really slow tanky 1v1 for these two so I'd recommend toxic and infestation-ing before chipping away with leech life. Urshifu @ Sitrus Berry Level: 73 Adamant Nature Ability: Unseen Fist - Close Combat - Wicked Blow - Sucker Punch - U-turn Snorlax again is kinda awkward but this urshifu can one shot the snorlax with close combat. If you switch into Urshifu on the Lax using curse wicked blow will always 2 shot in case you don't want to CC and get your stats lowered. Slowbro-Mega @ Slowbronite Level: 73 Modest Nature Ability: Regenerator - Scald - Slack Off - Psychic - Reflect Had to really search every fold of my tiny brain to figure out what to do against a mega blaziken but I landed here. He's not doing over half with any move on switch in and psychic will one shot him. Also +2 thunderpunch still doesn't kill If something here isn't allowed because hardcore mode than I must have missed it as I am a silly whimsical man who does not read
The biggest issue with this battle is you can’t switch out cause of magma storm unless it’s a ghost type or shed shell or volt switch flip turn or uturn
I think you need to start using knock off im situations like that life orb genesect, and also using stealth rocks for that extra chip damage. Idk if your allowed to use stealth rocks though. Keep up the awesome content ❤

If he switches or when the next mon comes in you can uturn out Magnezone Nature- bold Item lum berry Ability analytic(hidden ability) Moves -thunderbolt -flash canon -volt switch -????????? So this stupid jumpluff is annoying. I put magnezone because you eat it hits very well and do over half guarantee with analytic. If you have to slow volt switch out to lopunny and you outspeed and kill with ice punch. Rhyperior Nature- impish Item shed shell Ability solid rock Moves -earthquake -rock slide -megahorn -hammer arm So you just destroy this eletric child max it does is 35% with explosion. And if you run impish and somehow take no damage with it. You can eat ONE non sword dance close combat from the blaziken and kill with eq. That’s a lot of ifs. Eelectross Nature modest Item- sitrus berry Ability fatal precision (hidden ability) Moves -thunderbolt -volt switch -????????????? -????????????? So uh fatal precision kills this bulky boy but you take decent damage from scald but that’s why we have that sitrus. Noivern Nature- modest Item- sitrus berry Ability- infiltrator Moves -areoblast (should be able to just relearn it) -u-turn -???????????? -???????????? So uh without a sd up you can live a hit from this blaziken With it up well that’s just a oofy moment. There not much else that we can do for the mons. Anyway I hope I did the orginal comment justice.
Thank you very much for re-adding my team, dont know why youtube hates my comments lmao. An important note to keep in mind is that Magma storm locks your pokemon in if they dont have shed shell or a pivot move, and does 1/8 max hp damage each turn. This battle will be tough so expect some losses. Some changes I would make would be: Replace Close Combat with drain punch on lopunny, as it will give sustain to help with the magma storm chip, kills the aggron after fake out damage, and will allow lopunny to last against snorlax if need be. Have Rhyperiors last move be Hammer Arm since Stealth rocks is a no go. Change Magnezone's nature to Bold, as since even with Modest it takes two T-bolts to kill jumpluff, and bold will allow it to take double edge better and if need be, take less damage from Regieleki's explosion. Change Noivern's item to Sitrus berry. This will allow Noivern to survive the magma storm damage after any swords dance boosted move, however it then only has a 81.3% chance to kill with aeroblast, missing the kill on 3/16 damage rolls. I do think this is better as It gives Noivern a chance of surviving, instead of dying to magma storm damage otherwise. Ultimately up to you. For the last team slot I have two options: Greninja @Item Protean Jolly ice punch water shuriken flip turn Aerial Ace Greninja can act as a revenge killer if noivern cant kill the Blaziken with aeroblast. Water shuriken is priority for if the blaziken survives, and proteaned aerial ace means that a unboosted close combat will only do 55% max, as opposed to the 189% min it sees when attacking water/dark greninja. Jolly nature is to outspeed Jumpluff and ice punch it if needed, and sitrus berry provides healing. Urshifu @sitrus berry Unseen Fist Adamant Wicked Blow Sucker Punch Close Combat Drain punch Urshifu is a good last member as he is decent into the other members of May's team that dont one shot him (Snorlax, aggron, and slowbro) Without a pivot move or shed shell, he will be stuck in once you bring him out, so make sure all other threats are gone once you do. Wicked blow has like a 50% chance to KO slowbro, CC one shots Snorlax, and he even has sucker punch to revenge kill blaziken if needed.

Sorry Nappy 😢, I went away this last weekend on a 4 day camping retreat with no service. Didn’t even hear about the call to action till late Monday night. I had some big ideas for this fight with your box so I’m sad I couldn’t contribute. I was checking out some of the teams listed and I think they may struggle due to the no switching + dealing with their mons out speeding your u-turns and volt switches. Best of luck! You have to have a nearly completely different play style this fight revolving around getting a bunch of chip damage with u-turns and volt switches, then finishing with your faster mons. It’s unfortunate we lost Gary since he hards counters regieleki and allows you to once again click headlongrush or ice punch when he’s holding your 1 shed shell

Thank you very much for re-adding my team, dont know why youtube hates my comments lmao. An important note to keep in mind is that Magma storm locks your pokemon in if they dont have shed shell or a pivot move, and does 1/8 max hp damage each turn. This battle will be tough so expect some losses. Some changes I would make would be:
Replace Close Combat with drain punch on lopunny, as it will give sustain to help with the magma storm chip, kills the aggron after fake out damage, and will allow lopunny to last against snorlax if need be.
Have Rhyperiors last move be Hammer Arm since Stealth rocks is a no go.
Change Magnezone's nature to Bold, as since even with Modest it takes two T-bolts to kill jumpluff, and bold will allow it to take double edge better and if need be, take less damage from Regieleki's explosion.
Change Noivern's item to Sitrus berry. This will allow Noivern to survive the magma storm damage after any swords dance boosted move, however it then only has a 81.3% chance to kill with aeroblast, missing the kill on 3/16 damage rolls. I do think this is better as It gives Noivern a chance of surviving, instead of dying to magma storm damage otherwise. Ultimately up to you.

Aerial Ace
Greninja can act as a revenge killer if noivern cant kill the Blaziken with aeroblast. Water shuriken is priority for if the blaziken survives, and proteaned aerial ace means that a unboosted close combat will only do 55% max, as opposed to the 189% min it sees when attacking water/dark greninja. Jolly nature is to outspeed Jumpluff and ice punch it if needed, and sitrus berry provides healing.

Urshifu is a good last member as he is decent into the other members of May's team that dont one shot him (Snorlax, aggron, and slowbro) Without a pivot move or shed shell, he will be stuck in once you bring him out, so make sure all other threats are gone once you do. Wicked blow has like a 50% chance to KO slowbro, CC one shots Snorlax, and he even has sucker punch to revenge kill blaziken if needed.

Sorry Nappy 😢, I went away this last weekend on a 4 day camping retreat with no service. Didn’t even hear about the call to action till late Monday night. I had some big ideas for this fight with your box so I’m sad I couldn’t contribute. I was checking out some of the teams listed and I think they may struggle due to the no switching + dealing with their mons out speeding your u-turns and volt switches. Best of luck!

You have to have a nearly completely different play style this fight revolving around getting a bunch of chip damage with u-turns and volt switches, then finishing with your faster mons. It’s unfortunate we lost Gary since he hards counters regieleki and allows you to once again click headlongrush or ice punch when he’s holding your 1 shed shell

Ill type up the plan in another doc to save it, but if there is another way I could reach out and send you the info, let me know. Also if you are able to acquire more shed shells through thieving them from wild mons, that would change any team building i do for the better.

I definitely think the biggest threats on May’s team are Regieleki and Mega Blaziken.
I am sad. Gary did not have to die. But I definitely think the MVP of the Jasmine battle was Sophia.
