    I appreciate you and your videos.
    For what it’s worth you are the first fly fishing guru who highlights catching, showing off and releasing a WHITEFISH !
    You should get some sort of an award for this.
    Thanks for sharing

    Well OK, I guess I'll settle for the two-week schedule. Seriously though, I am very glad to see that you are back. Your channel has been one of my favorites for a long while. Welcome back!

    You made it to Fly Fisherman Magazine!!!! You have been the most influential RUclipsr for the last few season for me here in PA and I was excited you were in the magazine. I know you have slowed down and that's alright just do what you want and if it is a few videos a year or you stop making them you can be proud of what you accomplished.

      haha thanks man! I'm gonna try to ramp it up a bit and make some videos over the summer!

    Your mid-fly tag idea is an innovation that I have not seen elsewhere… very cool. You have a nice clear style and communicate very well. As someone who also fishes your local river I hope you continue to find reasons and personal value in your RUclips adventure. Your content and approach make a difference.

    What are the advantages of using this hook instead of the regular jig hook?

    • @FlyingTies
      @FlyingTies  Год назад +1

      You could use a jig hook, this is just my preferred hook of choice. I find this hook just holds more fish when fighting them

    Since peacock has been CITES listed in the last few years, these quills have been very scarce. There are subs and synthetics that should work.

    • @FlyingTies
      @FlyingTies  Год назад

      yeah the synthetic options are getting better so that's good
