Happy New Year! 🍀 Our government is talking about adding an amendment to our constitution to protect the right to pay cash. I think Austria would leave the EU if they want to force us to go cashless.

Good advice here. I like your reviews but you should do more of this format too 👍🏻. I tend to be quite bad at keeping cash, I tend to wanna get rid of it lol. After watching this I transferred some cash that was in my wallet into my safe. Imagine if these solar flairs they're talking about crashing the internet happens! No PayPal, Apple Pay, or online banking! I'd say silver will reach $10,000 an ounce before that happens though 🤣

I take out just under $1,000 every single time I get paid, and I switched to using nearly 100% cash all of the time. My gas is purchased by using cash to load gift cards for local gas/petrol stations. My groceries are purchased with cash or are purchased by loading grocery gift cards with cash. I also try to spend cash regularly, and I save all of the change and keep any good condition bills that I come across as my cash reserve that I keep outside of the banking system. My change gets turned in 3 or 4 times per year, and it usually amounts to $1,000 to 1,400 annually. Most of that gets turned into Silver and/or Gold. I try to have about 6 months worth of living expenses in paper money held outside of the banking system, and everything else is held in Gold & Silver, real estate, ammunition, firearms, and long-term food.

Here in the states a lot of businesses are telling customers cash only because we are seeing a rise in people claiming fraud on their credit card charges because they don't want to pay for things. On top of that, we are also seeing the groundwork being laid for a digital currency being forced upon us, so many states in the US are trying to pass gold/silver legislation. Citizens for Sound Money here in the US is trying very hard to bring back basic fiscal sanity to a chaotic, government trying to control everything! Cheers!
Good on those shops!!! 👍👍👍 I worry when the EI can rule that in France ( not far at all from me! ) that it is ILLEGAL to spend more than 1,000 Euros a day in CASH to buy precious metals. To put that in USD that's $1,100 USD. now take 1oz of gold. The cist atm is £ 1600 More Than 1k euros 🤔 SOO your breaking the law of you try to pay for precious metals or pay for them in cash. 😳😳😳 Ironically this goes for jewellery, watches etc. Very scary!

We here in the US are not suppose to ship US coins to the UK !
I know , there are as always loopholes but currency should remain in the USA. I get shipments of various packs from coins, notes to bullion. The import to the uk has to my knowledge no restrictions, but to the EU they do.

Keeping the flow of cash in the system is super important. One no tracking if you needed to buy anything the gov say no to, but you might depend on it. Another been cashless actually makes your brain lazy, having cash in case of emergency. But I think there's benefit to using cashless to, if your out and about and things don't feel right, or you think your been watched, at least you won't get targeted.
Anyway both feed the government as in the UK cash is legally own by royal rights, so you never have owned your income, just cash is untracked, while card is and gives insurance on purchases. 😅😅 Either way big brother wins.
We already own nothing and are happy as we are ignorant to how easily our rights to purchasing power can be taking away. As we're not the rightful heir.

I know what you mean and appreciate your opinion. My thoughts that I didn't go into was could this be a good reason to own fractional gold as well? And or kilo bars or less of silver? Keeping the value under the threshold.
