I’m happy for all of the older moms embracing being new moms and in a space to give their children the life they deserve. I was Both a young mom and now I’m an older mom to an infant and I promise you it is better now on me both financially and mentally. I love it here with my baby girl and I don’t have to put up with nonsense out of desperation.

Look. Since I became a single mother after my divorce, I thought I was going to struggle taking care of my son. Maybe in the beginning we did. But yet, we always had a roof on our head, we're clothed and have food on the table. And after some years I was able to travel with my son. My son has been to London, Newcastle (multiple times), Paris, Prague, Brussel and he even went multiple time to my birth island in the Caribbean with me. Heck, I don't know where we are going this summer, but rest assured we're gonna travel. Heck, I'm even thinking to visit the US of A next year if God's willing. So we need to stop correlating struggle with single motherhood. Sometimes the struggle is staying with the other parent. Since my divorce, I've been able to breathe and think for me and my child. So props to Ebony.

Congratulations to Eboni for creating the life that she always wanted you do not have to be in a relationship to have no child there is surrogacy, sperm banks, etc so I am happy for her. In terms of the bus driver rhetoric it was absolutely elitist and her choice if she doesn't want to date a bus driver that's fine the problem is when you start looking down on people for working essential jobs that keep your economy running.
I used to work in finances so let's gone head and do some calculations within the US there is an estimated population of $334 million people of that total population only 18% make $100,000 dollars or more so let's take 334x 18% that equals $60 million that means only $60 million people make 6 figures within the US so now let's find out the number of people who make less than that let's take $334 million -60 million and you get $274 million. That's means 274 million people make less than 6 figures. I think social media has people really delusional when it comes to the dating pool you don't have no plethora of options the dating pool is in hell, if you have a certain education level, or make certain amount of money that is definitely going to reduce your dating options significantly and Eboni is a prime example of that she wasn't able to find nobody because they didn't live up to her expectations so she opted out of relationships and chose to construct her life how she wanted it to be.
As an ace person who is not apart of the dating seen just looking at black peoples dating habits we do not date for the right reasons a lot of black people talk about wanting to date millionaires, but don't talk about the fact that they might not want you, they have access to many partners, you gone have to put up with foolishness such as them cheating, being abusive, and the list goes on to me it's not just about the person having money you need to also pay attention to their character, values, belief systems, how they treat people, etc.
Lastly, I have seen people bring up Simone Biles husband a lot now I don't care for the dude and definitely think he is full of crap thinking he is a prize over a whole Olympic gold medalist is insane, but I always have to check myself when it comes to speaking about her husband because talking about her husband is not gone make her leave him instead your actually going to push her closer to him so the best avenue is not to talk about him at all. We also have to talk about how we adultify black girls because the amount of grown adults making nasty comments about Simone Biles whose literally 25 years old is wild to me I do not expect a young lady with her religious background to be making the best of decisions she is going to make mistakes and sometimes our mistakes can be more costly than others, but that's just how life goes. We have very high expectations of black kids to the point that it is dehumanizing like you can guide kids and educate them based off of your own experiences, but you can't protect them from making mistakes that's how many people learn.
There's only one thing I would to argument against. Peole earning less than 100k aslo cheat, lie, are abusive, and being that they are the majority, chances are, they more predominant in the this group. With that said, when it comes to dating we should focus on morals and values. Millionaire, not Millionaire if your life philosophy does not align you have no business being together.

I think we are really grappling with fatherlessness and the impact of that. Maybe fathers are so easily dismissed or we downplay their importance because we are conditioned to their absence.

I’m glad I waited to have children. I was done with outside and financially stable enough to care for my children and provide them with experiences. And honestly I know a lot of women waiting until 35+ to have children. I feel like you should wait until 30 to consider marriage and kids. My husband and I don’t regret a thing.
