I think dreamcatcher have one of the best japanese releases
they have the best of everything by far in my opinion... Not just Japanese releases and not just one of the bests, THE BEST!
I don't think Endless Night is tied to anything, but Breaking Out is alternative ending to their Nightmare series. Btw Eclipse is a title track of their new Japanese mini album, so there are 2 additional songs with it :)
Their japanese songs are amazing. I recommend Don't light my fire, My Way and No More, I love them
GREAT CHOICE!!! This are SO GOOD! Also... Endless Night and Breaking Out have some of my favorite choreos! The meaning of the lyrics hits hard also in both.
In Breaking Out the build up to them reaching to each other its so intense. I love them.
Aside from these two, My Way, I Miss You and Eclipse are my favourites a well. The fact that people are still sleeping on these ladies is absolutely ridiculous!

One of the cool things about kpop is how groups can work with any song writer/production team they want...it opens the door to any genre. The danger, though, is if the performers get lost and can't show their own identity. Or maybe getting hyped to do different 'concepts' is the buzz? It's interesting.
Both of these songs are top notch! Just f*cking top notch. And sua with the high kick is iconic!

When you are doing Eclipse, keep in mind that song does have an OST feel to it''(cause it actually is an ost) also please check out the 2 other songs on that release called: No More and Don't Light My Fire. :)

Their Japanese songs never disappoints....period! The Breaking out is actually the official ending to their Nightmare series. Just that the Koreans never really listen to their Japanese tracks that's why it's said that Piri is the Nightmare series ending.
Endless night was the start of SuA iconic kicks!😅😅😅😅 And the starter drum roll for the song always tend to. Surprise first listeners, saw your eyes widened abit because of it😅😅😅😅 cute!

In the making of the Breaking Out mv the members talk about how this is the final video in the Nightmare series in which the Dreamies finally breakout of the the nightmare that they have been trapped in this whole time! Endless Night isn't apart of any overarching storyline from their videos but is heavily based on Dreamcatcher's own struggles as a group and how they are trying to deal with the loss they suffered with Minx and how they now have Dreamcatcher to help them run towards their dreams and goals in life.
Dreamcatcher has a lot of good songs, but it's not known. The views of these MVs are only 2M each. I'm sad.
I guess the good part of it is that it reflects a more natural number of views as people watch it because they want it or they like it. Not because they feel like they have to stream it.

I'm not a fan of a Endless Night but Breaking Out is possibly my favourite Japanese release from any group.

Breaking Out is the final installment of nightmare series and Endless Night is stand alone MV comeback for japan, the arrangement and production of this both MV are dope 🤣 incredible and banger 💀 because you know for the japanese market they want, more and hard sounds like a jrock vibes

Great reaction as usual. Breaking Out is one my top few DC songs too (probably vies with Good Night for number one). And Endless Night is top ten. I'd like to see them add more heavy stuff to the mix. But it's the variety that keeps it fun and fresh. Just about the time you think they've gone too pop/EDM to get broader appeal, they come out with songs like Break the Wall, Tension, No More, and Eclipse. Looks like it's just gonna get better and better.
FiFi, please look at the words later. For the old people like me. Back in my day we had no choice but to vibe to Japanese music because we illegally downloaded it from Kazaa or watched iPotato quality MVs on baby YT(Dir en Grey's Obscure is a classic!) with no subs. 😂 j/k I still don't read lyrics either until after I've decided that I like the song enough to warrant it.

Breaking Out is the final song in the Nightmare story as stated by Dreamcatcher themselves in the 'Making Of' video for the MV. Two reasons their Japanese tracks are not as well known. First is Koreans don't like metal rock music and second is Koreans are still extremely hostile to anything Japanese so these songs aren't promoted in Korea and I'm not sure if even Korean Somnies will watch them. That's why the idea that Piri is the final song has gotten so firmly stuck in people's heads. Foreign fans are the ones that love the Japanese songs.
I’ve done a few metal remixes of Dreamcatcher songs and a couple other requests KPop songs that you might enjoy 🤘🏻 haven’t touched theses ones though they are perfect!
Oh, man, you've opened a bag of worms. The Japanese market _did_ get some of the Nightmare Saga in MV form (namely Piri and What), but most of them only showed up as B-sides on singles and their Beginning of the End album. Breaking Out is their first Japanese original single. Many fans see it as the official finale, in which the girls escape the nightmare, and there's certainly a case to be made for that (some will make that case _vehemently_ 😜). I view it as a _possible_ ending, but with it being released in a different national market to all the others, I feel like it would be weird decision to end the story officially with this. But then Happy Face/DCC do make odd choices sometimes, so who knows? 😂
The Eclipse single _(actually_ an anime opening, from the King's Raid series) also features two other tracks you may want to check out; No More, which is their previous Japanese single and has an animated lyric video, and Don't Light my Fire (which is a veritable _anthem,_ and as with Break the Wall, kinda gives me some Lacuna Coil vibes)...
So it turns out that I love you more than I thought originally. Need some time to process this.
