  • One of the things that I hate the most is when somebody calls me to tell
    me that you're "just touching base" or "just calling to see how you're doing". The problem with that is that it's spam, it doesn't have any meaning behind it because most salespeople who are calling with that phrase just want to ask for business.
    Before you call anyone, I want you to think about the reason for the call. Offer value and connect with people through that specific value. People aren't stupid and they are seeing through your thinly veiled messaging. I want you to do a better job connecting with people by offering them something of substance. Connect with people so that you can create relationships instead of having people ghost you.
