hey, really interesting draft strategy and def some stuff ill incorporate into mine. Do you think you could make a vid to explain your qb rankings a bit?
Picking first pretty much forces you to take the top guy. Last year everyone had to pick Jonathan Taylor first and I got Justin Jefferson with the 8th pick. I don't know who the next Justin Jefferson is going to be... but it won't be Justin Jefferson because he costs the first pick now. I'd rather pick later so I'm actually getting a choice. Except maybe this year since Justin Jefferson might actually be worth the first pick.
You do have a choice when you pick first overall. You have all the choices. Having a middle of the first pic just makes it easier since you have less options after a few have gone.
@@anthonybluhm4724probably not in best ball since the entire field is getting the other players later (and presumably building stronger teams). Redraft definitely tho
No waivers ether running backs get shaken up. You can win some good money on underdog and they match your first $100 as well. Another cool thing they gave this $5 multiplier yesterday with jokic under over 27.5 pts and then 3 players were 20 x 50 x for 4 and 100x for 5 players. $5 was max bet but paid $500. I got greedy hit first 4 lost the 5th guy I put in some bum. Also, they do 3 4 5 pick parlays on players all the time. And do weekly fantasy drafts.
Are these just best ball drafts? I typically like Sal's points of view, but the ADP of some of these guys in these videos are just not the same from what I'm seeing in mocks in redraft leagues.
Can't wait that long on QB this year. I agree with early wide receivers, but shouldn't be filling bench slots while the good QB's disappear. You can get a couple of good wide receivers and a running back and still land Herbert, Burrow, or Jackson.
So I have the 1st pick since I won my league last year, do I take a qb like Trevor lawerence with the 1st pick of the 3rd rd? You think I can get away with waiting til the end of the 4th for a qb?? I’m in a 10 man btw. No clue what to do lmao
There is definitely a drop off at wr after Amari Cooper. I still don't understand how you don't take Kelce in round 2, unless you don't have a dedicated TE position, or are using standard scoring.
You’re one of the best in the biz.. but taking Watson without his weapons is tough. Njoku and friermuth are close I think stacking them there is more optimal.
hi sal got my 1st ppr draft next week and this is 1st time i'm going to grab 2 wide receivers as my first 2 picks as i usually go 2 running backs.sound advice this season.
Does anyone draft with bye weeks in mind. Some drafts I’m trying to not have two players one bye’s. It’s tuff might have a couple that are on bye the same week but is his nesecery??
I'm in a 14 team league with a standard snake draft. So frustrating having to wait so long for next pic. Last year had pick 14 and got back to back but waiting 20+ pics. Hope this strategy works.
Hey Sal! Just opened a prize picks account and made a deposit. Super siked to get your blueprint! Is this something that will be emailed to me? Thanks!
Hey Sal. I watch your content often and find it very valuable. Is there anyway to get your guides without using Underdog? I don’t have permission to use it based on my location. If not, no big deal. I appreciate all the effort you put into your free content. Thank you.
@@weldon9254 wasting a early second round on mahomes is ridiculous when there’s so much value in other positions. Especially a 12 man ppr, you want to get an elite receiver and rb (or two of the same)
I had Justin Jefferson last season and for 1/3 of the season he was a no show. I’d go with Jamar Chase because I know Burrow will throw. No telling what the new Viking Qb will do or able to do. 🤷🏼♂️
Hi Sal, I signed up for prize picks using your code to get the Blue Print. It’s been like 6 days my account is still pending, sent their support a message 2 days ago, no response yet. How can I purchase your Blue Print? Looking to get after these best balls ‘fully armed’. 😂 thx
For the most part I liked a lot of his logic when discussing his picks, but you should never draft a backup QB. It’s a wasted roster space. I’m genuinely surprised he picked one up.
It can potentially be resolved in July I believe that’s the deadline in the middle of July to sign their franchise tag. Perhaps they’ll get a deal done with him prior to that. But if he willingly signs the tag, I think I’m all in on him having another prove it yr. Thoughts?
I'm just not sure they're going to offer him more than what they did. Here's part of Joe Schone's (GM) comments .... "But you've got to have a deal where both parties are happy with where you end up. That's what we're going to try to work for and see if we can get something we can both agree on." I drafted a ton of him initially. Lately I've really slowed down though.
This is the video that helps me the most!!! TY SaL 👊🏻💯
In the mocks I’ve been doing running backs go quick. Usually about 8-9 go in the first
I'm going to try this strategy out, I love the team you built, I've been using a different strategy that I also like. Good stuff Sal
Good stuff, Sal. Thanks!
Great content. Will you be making these draft strategies for every pick, or maybe mid and late picks in the first?
Great content and video.
Great Draft @Sal
I like that team good job Sal.

When are you going to do some more 2QB or Superflex content?

Aaron Jones in the 5th in a 12 man? Wtf
Underdog is too meta to be realistic in my leagues
@@saintrogies underdog starts 3 wr and a flex so 4 wr. Running backs go more in my leagues we start 2 rb 2 wr and 2 flex love underdog drafts though

Kelce goes 4th overall.
Sal do you have td only rankings?
Nice job. Don’t agree with every pick of course. I love the linked process though. Can’t get where you’re going without a plan
Dk over Devonta for Hock? Im avoiding Dk qnd getting a RB or Hock for sure.
Love the content. Truth be told for me I've always won my league when I've gone QB in the first 3 rounds.
I was that guy but it seems to work for me.
I despise a mid round pick but of course I have been drawing mid round picks so far this year, lol.

I take it back, dionte and then Pickett later with muth, I see you.
would like some auction draft strategy
I made the deposit to access the cheat sheet but can’t find it anywhere, can someone help me please
Missed out on Njoku Deshaun stack? Kinda crazy not to take that I feel like.
Do you correlate for week 17 or do you just take best player on the board?

Depends on your league I start 2 rbs 2 wr and 2 flex and goes alot different then underdog drafts.
It won’t.

What are your thoughts on taking a QB in round 2/3 as the first overall pick in a 12 team full ppr snake redraft ?
Round 2 is extremely early for a QB. Round 3 is a decent time but only if you’re getting Hurts, Allen, or Mahomes
Why wait? Mahomes #1 overall.
@@weldon9254 wasting a early second round on mahomes is ridiculous when there’s so much value in other positions. Especially a 12 man ppr, you want to get an elite receiver and rb (or two of the same)
I added $5 in vivid picks a couple days ago with your code. Still haven’t received the cheat sheet!
hey! All sent this morning, did you receive?
I received it!
In round 11, that was Jamal Williams, not Javonte. It was a good pick.

Kirk Cousins is still the Viking’s QB.
What about a 10 team draft where your pick is #10?

Not a bad idea.
For the most part I liked a lot of his logic when discussing his picks, but you should never draft a backup QB. It’s a wasted roster space. I’m genuinely surprised he picked one up.
Hockenson over D.Smith in that spot
Should have taken Calvin Austin with your last pick
Is anyone else worried Saquon might holdout?

Derrick Henry not in the top 24 picks? Absolutely rediculius unless you're playing with 8 year olds!😂
He’s gone in the 2nd round 100% off the time

Are you sure about that?
