Springbok - Driving in Namaqualands biggest town - Northern Cape, South Africa

Following on from Poffader I arrived in Springbok. It is the biggest town in the Namaqualand region of South Africa. The town is very beautiful with amazing rocky landscapes. I had a good time in the town, got to enjoy some beers with the locals. The town has a population of about 13 000 people from what I read online. The town has long history of mining, copper mining was once very important in the area. An interesting side note, when I was there a guy tried to sell me diamonds, he literally had the diamonds in his mouth, I wasn't sure whether the diamonds where real or not but I decided not to buy anything from him lol.

Wow...my geboorte dorp...eks nou 62...en bly in gauteng....maar sal Nooit Gewoond kn raak aan hierdie stadslewe nie. My hart roep dag en nag na die Vlaktes en koppies en berge en blomme, maar omstandighede maak dt moeilik om Ooitweer daar heen terug te gaan(geldelik) ek ry maar n scooter wt n Weldoener paar jaar terug aan my geskenk ht. My Hele Wese verlang terug.

Hey, so I drove from Springbok to a town called Port Nolloth. It's about 1hour 23min and 142kms. A very scenic drive 👍🏾
