That water and reflection though. Pristine. For me, the exports of elevations is pretty useful. I cannot use the orthographic modes from lumion due to lumion 11 being too much for my laptop. Nice alternative!

D5 really good but prefer twin-motion because ease of use (like D5) and has the very high ceiling of Unreal Engine. Lumion just too expensive. D5 really helping people with ease of access for learning, really appreciate that D5! Wish them success.
What settings did you use to give it that collage-y illustration style? I absolutely love it! I like this artistic look better than photorealism even! Please give us the settings you used to achieve this effect. 🙂
I want to learn a rendering program perfectly...but since I don't have unlimited time, which program should I learn: Lumion, 3dsMax+V-ray, TwinMotion/Unreal or D5? Also, Cinema 4D and Maxwell are really good. So far on the market, I saw V-ray skill is asked the most...Also, for modelling which software for architecture is going to get used more on the market in the future: Archicad, AutoCad, Revit, Sketchup, Maya, Rhyno+Grasshopper, Blender? Also...not bad your rendering...not bad at all.
Adding a software in your personal workflow will depend on many different factors (time, integration with other softwares, intended outcome or presentational style,… I tried out most of the software on your list. I will say the more important things to consider as a student are time or ease of use; and weather the software work with the other softwares in your workflow and allows for quick alterations. Lumion, twinmotion, enscape, and 5d has similar learning curves. I recommend you to try out enscape as it is super fast to make changes and relatively easy to use. It also give you the necessary maps for post-processing (depth map, material id, shadow,…) Post processing an image in a software like photoshop will be the key to achieve the look that will best serve your presentational intents. Lumion is also great as it automate this next step with post-processing settings. Don’t be intimidated! They are a bunch of sliders which allow you to control how the final render will look like. They are fun to use. Enscape or lumion with photoshop will mostly cover your need. So enscape allows for quick turnaround. Lumion is great as it automate post processing. Good luck😉
if you master lumion you will be more than fine. unless your main purpose is cg. are you an architecture student? if yes, stick with archicad and rhino. there is also a grasshopper archicad connection you can use together. works like a charm. are you a archviz artist? you´ll be fine with 3ds max & corona for modeling and visuals... if you enjoy 3d modeling for fun and you want to go creative in fast workflows you can add rhino.

D5 and twinmotion… which one is the best to produce exterior landscape rendering and visualization. Thx.
d5 is good , lumion is going to be better on the same level with the leading softwares with its new update since they are introducing raytracing , other softwares like vray , corona maya and blender are pacesetter since they have raytracing .
I would argue that it is realistic enough for competitions or university projects. Realism is not the only factor that contributes to a great image overall
Been using it since the beginning, it's way better for interior as value per price, with extra time and effort, it can reach vray results (sometimes)
Totally agree!
WOW, I'm speechless!
Thank you!

D5 render is so amazing, espessially The mood, hopefully lumion too in 2023 with ray tracing!
Glad you enjoyed!

I think it mostly has to do with the lighting and shadows, if you aim for a flatter-looking image, it will look like an illustration
Can we get an updated version ? Using the new updated d5 ai tools

None. Unreal Engine
I haven't used twinmotion but I would suggest finging a software that works for your requirement
💪😎👍 it's right up there with lumion and unreal engine..
Agree!
can someone please tell me the soundtrack that is playing at 9.00. I will really appreciate that. Simply love that soundtrack.
😍😍😍 amazing
Thank youuuu
Hello, for 3d designing would you reccomend sketchup or something like Revit? I have both!! Thanks a lot in advance and for the inspiring content!
I sketch while using revit for designing, then use sketchup for any final details
Please tell me.. How need ram or rom D5 use my laptop?
Thats cool
Thank youuuu
Which one is better, D5 or unreal engine?
D5!!!
💕
💕💕💕
i can't see any realistic even a render here :/
I can't use D5, it says my graphics card is not good enough (it's nvidia gtx 1660)😭😭😭
Oh sorry! Maybe its time for an upgrade? I bought a used one to cut down on cost
@@SurvivingArchitecture I bought new laptop asus tuf gaming few months ago 🥲
Aww that is okay! Don't sress about trying D5. Try enscape as I think it has a lower graphics card requirement.
@@SurvivingArchitecture thanks, I was using enscape last year. I'm going to try lumion too 😁

Why don’t talk about NEOM?

Maybe you can use a virtual windows for now?
Textures look flat tf
The black wood texture? Yes, I couldn't get the panels to show from that far
SAME SAME
Not realistic enough

Meh, I personally think lumion is superior to D5, lumion will soon have ray tracing. Of course V-ray is still the king of realistic renders.
AHHH I LOVE VRAY!!! but it takes sooooo long to produce a render. I haven't used Lumion yet so excited to see how it compares.
vray is better
In some areas, yes, I agree. But its much harder to learn and takes ages to produce a render
Just little difference in quality. No reason to use Vray. Vary is now waste of time and money....
