There is a riven skin that changes her direction when she backs/emotes, so she can Q in a diferent direction instantly if done correctly.

It's on a few skins and it changes which direction you go if you doublecast recall.
Are you sure they didn't fix that when they removed the ward changing her direction mid-air? (Terrible decision btw, the ward backflip was bad ass)
I'm 100% sure I read something about riven using emotes to alter animations in the latch notes.

If you watch frame by frame you can see that both normal and nightbringer received the same number of damage ticks so that means nightbringer yasuo is actually pay to win
im pretty sure yasuo spends the same time ulting as a normal skin so
@@colaonyourface he's saying there no downside. You don't get hurt by rumble more but you have the added benefit of not getting liandrys proc'd on anyone else nearby.

The dev that removed the trash codes when developing for nightbringer yasuo: lol
Notice how normal yasuo animation slashes multiple times and the direction changes, but nightbringer is just a single slash animation.
With two smoke figures charging up the strike
tbh its just that this skin animation hits once, and the normal one hits three times and rotates the champion each time
There is something about True Damage Ekko being better, I can feel it.
It's the moonwalk after 3rd hit 😁
Because it's full of exaggerated swagger of a black teen
The swag on that skin gives you extra AP
The hop,the walk back,the lines,its all 🔥🔥
The animation for the stun often wont play the barely audible audio cue with True Damage Ekko, the audio cue on the normal skin is very loud and always seems to go off.
Same thing with corki's E I'm guessing
@that one cringe guy but it will shred armor and mr of everyone around him so it does also matter

I like to use this skin for Yasuo because everything about it feels smooth to play; even the Q animation is a bit faster and smoothest to me than other skins of him.
But it only hits to yasuo's direction this is a nerf on 1v1 but a buff in teamfights
No normal skin is full damage to all directions. Nightbringer is full damage to one direction. It's ridiculous.

@@williamgbewinther2800 If you watch in slow motion and count the ticks (starting from yasuo ult). Normal skin is both of them taking 5 ticks, nightbringer is only yasuo taking 5 ticks

I don't think its full damage but yes he does a 180 degrees (or even more) spin during one tick of damage. It's almost full full damage to everyone.

but at default he always turns the enemy south? does the enemy starting direction change the final direction?
this is REALLY impactful for cass/shaco teammates, its like when you play with a teammate Ahri you always know the direction the enemy will face upon her landing charm, thus ensuring a stun from cass or crit from shaco

No wonder that Yas skin feels so much more brutal.
This is literally so circumstantial that it literally doesn't matter
so if you have a shaco jg, you should use that skin , because shaco deals more damage when he is behind an enemy.
I thought skins only changed the visuals on client side. This means some of the skins might literally be pay2win

@@thepowerlies yone is last balanced champion. And that was like 4 years ago. Its a op champ playground. No skill to climb to challenger just play op champs

I thought I was the only one, that I had the same feeling, I started to perceive the change, when I watched the videos of Pzzzang and how well you play with that skin, like the gameplay changes, you get almost everything right
love how its a vid about yasuo and its senna's soundratck playing in the background
the point of the skin is to truly channel your inner yasuo and die even faster after you ult by facetanking all the dmg yourself.

Changing stances/music modes can make inmune to _charming_ (Like Ahri kiss)

They patched it out a long Time ago. But yes, back then i tested it and it worked. They changed the music transition from a "Channeling" animation to an passive Change, which can be done like once every 5 seconds. But you are right, it WAS on the live Servers once (not only the PBE)
So, literally pay to win. Yeah sure, yasuo will be the focus, but no aoe means no random deaths on your team.
Even though this is an incredible minor change, the fact that this functionality difference does exist between what should be purely cosmetic skins is sus af and opens the door to a bunch of other potential minor functionality differences between other skins that could make these things actually P2W or P2L.
Funny thing old Dragonknight Mordekaiser used to have the dragon pet locked to him.
Which it was never supposed to be. So the Dragon actually teleported to Mordekaiser if he got out of leash range which didnt happen on any other skin.
Fun fact default Yasuo skin activates bork with his Ultimate. Nightbringer Yasuo doesn't activate bork with his Ultimate because it only strikes 2 times

Nah I always thought that the ulti on this skin looks awesome and smooth
I always felt it looked... clunky. The other skins feel more fluid because Yasuo does several slashes before striking down (even tho they don't deal damage) while this one just sloooooowly charges up a single downward strike. It does however make reading the damage tick a lot easier. That's not good nor bad so.
@@The_Whitetbh I felt it smooth because of the "shadows" that perform his ult and and it doesn't seem that his ultimate changes his position but it's an opinion so whatever you feel like
Yep, airblades on nightbringer is on another league compared to other skins.
Some ppl would call this gamebreaking, while they’re not able to get 80cs by 10min

Theres also something wonky about this skins EQ animation that just makes you stop.
Still one of the best Yasuo skin and also one of the best in the game. I love it.

whenever i use this skin, i just build lethality rather than crit
Isn't it the same in the truth dragon and night dragon or something skin for yasuo
after watching his various skins ulting for what is ABOUT 1 HOUR, all his other skins has "multi hit sound effects playing" meanwhile nightbringer yasuo ult has some "shadow yasuo" hit the tartget while ulted while the "true yasuo" hits from above hitting the target into the ground, so even though this is fucked up for advanced gameplay making, it is skin based accurate
Really pisses me off that nothing will ever be done about this since fixing infrequent bugs does not bring profit. Another gamebreaking one is Mecha Aatrox, where the hit box for Q1 is actually a bit longer than shown.
ashe r hitbox, sion Q hitbox, Naut q hitbox, Illaoi tentacle hitbox, are 3 rly bad ones that never hit but do hit that come to mind, they need to give those tentacles an actual indicator man. so annoying
It's not really that bad though. Rumble was never rmeant to spin like that anyway , makes yasuo r bad in a teamfight. This actually is how it should be done

if you are seeing it in 2024 let me tell you, Nightbringer Yasuo is the best and smoothest skin Yasuo ever had, just ignore other and buy this skin

@@alexbrestowski4131 very observant, but naw it’s just a really good skin imo. Although I argue that debonair has the edge since the shadows are a bit harder to see.
@@Ligmabawwls zed is my most played champ and my favorite has always been shockblade. Visually I do prefer most of the other skins but all the other skins have super weak sound effects compared to shockblade so I stick with shockblade
so that mean this skin is the worst skin for ys, cause the Rumble instantly Q to Ys in YS's R not like others

The cowboy yasuo skin also hides the tornado throw after windwall

even more amazing combo E Q R is very suitable for nightbringer skin when R skill has only 1 slash

It doesn't have animation cancelling.
It just doesn't have animations when he combos. Panunu mentioned it himself.

Well... Champs standing point blank in Rumble's fixed direction take more damage than if he was doing a spin spin.

wait 0:10 is a yasuo bug, R supposed to give yasuo full mana but, after 0:10 R he didn't get another shield
if yasuo's shield is active after taking damage and he ult does not reset.
It's a visual bug, and you see he took longer to throw tornado. He threw tornado pretty much instantly as rumble q. 0:08 he Q and waited for tornado to be active, and rumble was burning him and he took half a second longer to throw the tornado. Took about 30 more dmg. Experimental flaw/failed execution

People are really pedantic about this and will probably think of absurd ways in which this is "broken" when in reality it's not likely to happen in their games.
