I'm ngl one of the biggest myths about Batman is that he prepares for everything. In reality, in almost every media, Batman just wings it. Sure he may recon the area a bit, pinpoint which bad guys to take down first, find escape routes, etc. But in the end, he just flies in, throws a couple batarangs and smokebombs, cripple some thugs, and it's usually job done.
But people make it sound like he can predict the future and is prepared for every single scenario that could ever happen and has a backup plan for his backup plan.
It's only the delicate situations, the ones difficult to accomplish or the ones that, with just one tiny slip up, could be fatal, is when he starts doing these levels of planning. Otherwise, he's not even going to bother with it if it's just any other crime scenario in Gotham.

Beyond just the incredible speed and aggression, my favorite part of these videos is how you use every single part of the environment in your strategy. I've played this game at least 10 times through and I never thought to use the grates and explosive wall to my advantage.
