Freediving in Bermuda~The Hermes & Southwest Breaker

Living in Bermuda, a shipwreck capital of the world, we were excited to finally head out with Blue Water Divers and freedive our first Bermuda shipwreck! Lying in 80 ft. of water the Hermes is a magnificent boat with big corals, barracuda (my favourite!), and territorial Sgt. Majors.
As Pure Apnea lvl. 1 certified freedivers (thanks to the I AM WATER team, and Hanli Prinsloo, a world champion freediver) we always stuck with our buddy, and would dive to meet each other at 20+ft, a safety precaution in case our buddy ever experienced Shallow Water Blackout (SWB).
Back to the diving -
The Southwest Breaker was a gorgeous spot with lots of baby fish and interesting underwater features. Thomas and Taryn joined us in the water and had their first Bermuda dive experience! We're definitely looking forward to freediving more wrecks and underwater sites in the future.
