- RUclips blocked the 1st version of this video because of the song Prince - Sexy Dancer, which Jr Boogaloo did a demo to at Dance Vision Vol.8, which i had to pull unfortunately. That video showcased excellent popping and boogaloo by Jr and I would highly recommend checking it out to see another side of the OG's talent.

I think the best thing about Jr. is that he is the nicest person you'll ever meet. He's always happy to kick it wherever he goes.

jr boog is one of my fav poppers. i think hes almost 50 years old!
This video really highlighted JR Boogaloos technique and diversity of styles. I will say seeing him getdown in person is another story his lines, use of space and swag is out of this world. If anyone gets an opportunity to catch I'm live you will be in for a treat. Once again great video .

Great review on Jr boogaloo. Definitely an OG. I’m an OG popper (Star City Popper) from San Diego. I knew Jr back in high school. I got back into popping back since 2020 and practicing a lot…took quite a few class sessions with jr boogaloo and private sessions at my house. I’m making my way back in the game strictly for fun, exercise, and the culture. Btw, I saw your podcast with koolboy interview… dope!

Great series man well done! Are we going to see a Popping Pete episode at some point? Would be interesting if there was some history behind each dancer just to get a bit more in depth of their past, present and potential future. Again, excellent show.
funny you mention that, you’ll probably enjoy episode 30 when it hits, I did an in depth on wiggles and switched up the format of the show a bit. Sounds like what you’re describing :)

Legendary, one of the best foundation, his dime stop, cobra, snaking, tutting, and boogaloo is really really high level and funk af, truly a master.his musicality and transition is in another level i see so many dancer but not many reach his level. I go to his workshop and class a few times in china and indonesia and he is so nice and humble.
