Jail House - Junior Reid

A 4-way version excursion and dub, headed up by 2 Junior Reid tracks.
First up is 'Jail House', released as a single on Jammy's Records in 1982.
Track two is 'Hunts Bay', taken from the Junior Reid LP 'Original Foreign Mind', released on Harry J Records in 1985.
Track three is 'Isim Skisim' by Wayne Smith, taken from the A-Side of his 1982 single, released on Black Joy Records.
Track four is 'Rose Marie'. There's some confusion over the artist, labelled as Yellow Man aka Peter Yellow / Purpleman. I don't think this is actually Yellowman as some labels claim.
The dub version is also taken from the B-side of the Jail House single and is mixed by Prince Jammy.
Apart from Hunts Bay, which was produced by Lincoln Sugar Minott and mixed by either Peter Chemist or Sylvan Morris, all other versions were produced by Prince Jammy and recorded at Channel One Studios. The backing band on the Junior Reid LP version is labelled as Black Roots Players.
These tracks have been authentically remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time - creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
