Phil said it was thought provoking that the smart bomb was smarter than the people dropping it. The other interesting thing about that movie that a lot of people didn't notice was that the crew was going progressively insane all through the movie. Kind of like this past year.

I have my suspicions that the negative-drop sound originated from a bodily function.
I first saw this film at St.Albans city hall (uk) with a school friend in the late 70,s along with Fantastic Planet - love them both still.
