Great reaction, Josh! Gissur Páll Gissurarson is one of Iceland's finest classical tenors. He began his career on stage at the age of 11. At this concert, Amira was 11 years old. Therefore, the identification, empathy and respect he has for her is absolute, because at this age Amira was already an established international classical superstar, with two CDs recorded by the prestigious Sony Masterworks label. Amira currently has two diamond, two platinum and two gold records.
Yeah, it's Reykjavik, Capital of Iceland, 2015. Amira was 11, she'd just sung a solo O mio babbino caro, before being joined by her partner for this duet. He is Gissur Pall Gisurarson, a local singer, but apart from that I can't add anymore. That same Christmas she sang a different Ave Maria ( there are many different ones. ) singing with her family supporting her, in her home town of Nijmegan, the Netherlands. The Ave Maria, Gomez, at the Canisius church concert, really is a jaw dropper. If you need another one. Nice posting.

Released just before her 20th birthday and shows her unyielding religious passion when singing this beautiful song. You also see her wonderful maturity, both in herself & her magnificent voice. Not sure if you’re aware, but Amira has commenced her Batchelor of Music at the Pretoria University. I can only imagine her voice when it fully matures in her mid to late 20’s, as we all think it is already perfect. Anyway, keep up the great work. Cheers Graeme

It might interest you to know that apart from having one of the most phenomenal voices I have ever heard, she is an amazing athlete and by the time she auditioned for Holland's Got Talent, she was winning 5k races on a national level and has continued that as well as other athletic activities. A truly amazing young lady.

She won first place trophies in long distance running when she was 8 and 9 years old.She sings like AN ANGEL FROM GOD!! What an amazing voice!
