Analyzer Maintenance Challenges
Analyzers are highly sophisticated machines consist on multiple components that need multidiscipline skills to handle and maintain to perform intended functions. The prime function of online Analyzers is to provide accurate and reliable analysis data to plant operator so plant operational factors can be adjusted to optimize the process parameters to maximize yield or production. Other important role of online analytical system is to monitor environment pollutants to address serious global warming issues and protection from toxic gasses/substances exposure to human, animal, plants and environment. With ever increasing awareness about roles in process enhancement the Analyzers have gained tremendous importance in Oil & Gas industry and there is huge investment However, in many cases, the analyzers are deployed for several process units but are not well maintained thus do not provide accurate and reliable analysis data to the plant operator. Inaccurate and unreliable analysis data may result in serious plant operation upset and process malfunctions and impose heavy penalties by authorities for causing environment pollution.
