I’ve got the same kit and the same car haha.. my kit is warped in exactly the same way.. I got everything mounted except the fenders, then realized the fenders were way too warped and I gave up.. props to you for still trying to make it work 💪🏼
theres a video (its in german lol) of fitting one of these kits they ended up having to cut the front as well as the rear so just be weary i always wondered a lot of people didn't do these kits and after watching of few of these install videos i know why.
yeah.. fenders usually have to be cut when doing flairs/widebody kits.. the front on the evo is super high which im not crazy about, so ill have to figure out something with lowering the car more or something
That looks a absolute ball ache! Is that the duraflex kit? I know there's some kits coming out of the Philippines. But there very very thin! So stuck on what to go for brand wise? 😳🇬🇧
yep.. duraflex.. theres another video online (i forget the channel) but they are fitting a kit to a white 190, and the kit is white already(not sprayed yet).. i think that kit is double the price of the duraflex, but it looks like they had an easier time doing it..
Does it come with any instructions to mount the kit? I like the well nut idea but I come from a “ traditional “ molding the kit / flares via a fiberglass body filler / bondo and a lot of sanding / shaping .. do you think it would look good? / or is it even necessary for this body kit?
@@chrisdz holy crap 😂 okay yeah I had a feeling.. it’s quite a shame they don’t recommend something for the kit.. especially if someone is paying 1k+ I know you always talk about NOT buying this kit. I only ask because most kits will say “professional installation recommended or required”. I was wondering if when finally purchased if it came with some sort of pamphlet 😂 thanks again
Man.... It sucks that duraflex seems to be the only company in the US that makes them. Its almost as if you have no choice but to suck it up, buy, and fix. Damn.

Gonna give it some decent effort. Hopefully the work pays off
@@chrisdz your video from today is kinda making me think maybe I should keep the kit and stick it out lol.. what city/state are you located in btw?

EvoII for life, I am also looking for a kit for my w201, do you have any recommendations for one that is workable at least with fitment?

I'm curently instaling a Evo1, and going through some of the problems you had 😅
