  • Crochet along with me as I review the NEW All in One Granny Square yarn by Red Heart. I have seen this yarn EVERYWHERE on RUclips and Pinterest and finally decided to give it a try.
As many of you know I LOVE the granny square motif, so I had to try it out and see if it's worth it....So unbox some yarn from JoAnn's with me, relax, and join me as I see if it is a HIT or has just been hyped up.

Yes iv tried it... Im torn because i obviously had an issue with my tension... i did 2 dif colors 2 squares each... And i gotta say there was not one row i didnt have to frog and restitch... Iv crochet for over 50 years.... So i didnt get it.... Found it ubber frustrating!!! So ive put the 8 skeins away for another day... Yarnaholics unite!!!!

Great video again, Sterling! Thank you for your work.
If I can give you a little advice: when trying to show a piece close to the camera, and it doesn't focus that's because the camera is prioritizing your face over what's in your hand. I'd suggest try this: when showing something, place it between your eyes and camera (like to the point where you don't see the lens because it's blocked by the crochet piece in your hand), this way camera will quickly switch focus to what you're holding and back to your face, when you put your hand down. I hope it helps and I apologize for unwanted advice if you already knew it.
    Best of luck stitching!

It's interesting that you got 15 squares also, which is something I've seen from other creators, nice bonus!
You definitely didn't seem to need to undo your rounds as much as I've seen other people struggle with, so am glad for you that they lined up fairly nicely.
I thought it would be like that for myself too knowing I have a tighter tension than most, so if this yarn becomes available in Australia I'd love to give it a try!
I prefer the neutral shade skein as the different browns and creams looked lovely! Keen to see what you turn the squares into. 😊🤷🏻‍♀️

I know right - so interesting! Yea the third round is the toughest for me. As I work more I realize it's actually easier to size up to a 6mm hook for that row 🤪 but overall it's a fun yarn to work with and is totally better for us tighter tension people 😜.

Because I have arthritis in my fingers, I do not make small granny squares...I have been fascinated with this yarn and have watched many reviews of it...I wondered what else could be made with the yarn...I am making a double crochet blanket (idea from Pretty Peaceful). I like the way the colors pool. They make a pretty pattern. I plan to make a couple of hats and scarf sets...Thanks for your review. ..and I love your squares...looking forward to the next video....

Thanks so much! A blanket would be so lovely with this yarn and seeing what else could be made with this yarn would be a fun challenge ✨

I'm glad you appreciated it! Yes I think it's worth a try if you have tighter tension for sure ✨🧶
