Welcome back to The Warning and you were relatively spot on with your analysis. The Warning description is about someone who has a God Complex and will criticise everything you do. A song to all the naysayers in their past who said basically what you analysed.
This song is off their new album, Keep me fed.
The Warning have just toured Europe in April with 19 sold out shows and more recently returned to Europe to play in a few festivals, notably Wacken open air festival in Germany and a few more headlining shows in Liverpool and Dublin.
SHARKS, Automatic Sun, Hell you call a dream, Escapism, Apologise are also great tracks from their current release and are well worth a listen to. These songs will lead you to discover a new direction to the 3 sisters but also their sound of The Warning is still prevalent and unmistakable. Thanks for the great breakdown and analysis. 🤟

Your analysis of the video is perfect. The lyrics are different, which happens a lot with OMV's. In an interview, they say the song is about dealing with a narcissist who has a God complex. Keep Me Fed has a lot of new sounds, experimentation and production. They're also great played live (with less production). Check it out!

Here is the description of this song that was on the album's pre-save page:
Six Feet Deep → A song about dealing with other people's god complexes.
I could be wrong, but I think that the Fed in FEI is from the album title Keep Me FED.
To me the entity represent the nay-sayers, the critics that told them that girls can't play rock, guitar, bass or drums, and that they should give up.
The younger version of themselves are dressed like they were on the Ellen Show in 2015 and the small red bass is the same model that Ale was playing in the early days.
You can also see a guitar and drum from the Rock Band video game, which is a call back to their beginnings.
The address of the house is 0628, which is the launch date of the album.
The current band have their instruments chained to the floor, as to not have it taken or broken again by the entity.

They’ve been touring Europe (2nd time this year)hitting the festival circuit. I watched Wacken & Pol’ and’ Rock 2024 where the crowd size at each was over 50K! They were both great but the Pol’ and’ Rock set was incredible! Most of the performances from the 2 have been taken down except for Disciple at Pol and Rock. They’re about to start the U.S. festivals. Hardest working band out there right now! ⚡️🤘

I scrolled through the comments and not sure I saw anyone mention the collab that Band Maid and The Warning recently released (if anyone here has and I missed it- apologies). The track is called "Show Them" and can be found on Band Maid's YT channel. If you feel you need something to just groove to, that's the one. Not at all awkward in blending their two unique styles and overall sound. Excellent composition with eight talented ladies that have mutual respect for each other and a love of rock having fun doing what they do.

  • @MarkBtvd

As noted, Keep Me Fed refers to the new album for which this is the opening number. But it's also a phrase from one of the songs on the album, "Consume", and is relevant to the theme. (BTW, quite a surprise in that one.) While the lyrics are about dealing with someone who has a God complex, the video seems pretty clearly specific to the early naysayers and haters who were first addressed in "Narcisista".
The little girls are their early selves, wearing the same outfits they wore on The Ellen Show when they were kids. Young Ale's bass is the same one she used back then. Not sure about Pau's drum kit but probably the same for her. Young Dany is writing the lyrics to "Six Feet Deep" (pause the video just before they get burned up to see it).
Pretty sure the entity represents all those disbelievers. It seems the spirits of the older D.P.A. (thus the final image in the mirror) have gone back in time to cast a (musical) spell to trap the demon (note the circle of candles on the "DREAM" rug) and enclose it in all their childhood paraphernalia so they can bury it. Those items are then returned.
    So now:
Did you notice the chains on all their instruments? Ale's is most noticeable, but there's one on Pau's kit and Dany's Explorer. What do you think they mean?
What does the crack in the mirror mean?

I love that they care enough to imbue all of their stuff with layers of allegory and hidden meaning. It’s exactly what drives fans into a frenzy. They’re talented AND smart. 😄

@@PrymalChaos Should have said that little Ale's bass is a replica designed or modified to break apart. I would assume little Pau's drum kit was likewise set up to be tossed around.

    *Six Feet Deep*
a Hard Rock "Power of Three" demon expulsion video with an eye opening ending...
this track is one _HELL_ of a powerful spell being cast to attract, expose, and expel those ancient hidden demons they have been fighting on their journey...
the stuff all flying to, sticking to, and covering the demon, i look at as they had to completely enclose the demon to fully expose, define, and confine it for the expulsion spell to work... no part could be left uncovered or the demon would be able to return... so their spell wrapped the demon with everything like a containment field until it was tossed back into the pit... once there, the items could be returned since they were no longer needed to serve that purpose...
i say "Power of Three" as a reference to the _"Charmed"_ TV show... also, have you seen the movie _"The Sixth Sense"_ ? if not, i highly recommended it! that story line fits right in with what is happening in this OMV, too 😜

In terms of song composition I'd say it's along the lines of AC/DC. Simple, straightforward rock-n-roll. The thing to remember is that simple isn't the same as easy. The Warning should be huge on FM rock radio, which has been sadly diminishe in the modern age.

Funny you mentioned Pearl Jam. The ladies have recently been on their first PJ concert (it's on one of 69 futura's spanish vlogs, I believe). And my feeling is that PJ is one of the few bands on this Earth that still can teach TW a few things about being on stage. I'd wish for more variety in the set lists for example - or extensive jam sections, where they just switch off the backing tracks and clicks and start playing what they feel, get into longer call and responds with the audience and escape the cage that is their song structures for a while.
It might take a few years still to get their, but I can totally see it for them. Whoever has seen Pearl Jam live will know what I'm talking about.

    • @PrymalChaos

Reading that book has made me realise just how much of a ‘jam band’ Pearl Jam are live. I’ve been to a few shows, but unless you keep tabs on what they’re doing you don’t know just how dynamic and expressive their performances and set lists are. Very cool!

The new songs are really awesome, and are a little bit different, but they're (dare I say) EVOLVEing ;) Can't wait to see them in the States this fall - they're also doing a Canada run with Halestorm and Evanescence after that.

Their new album, Keep Me Fed, will keep you fed for rock. No ballads. Just unholstered rock with a bit of funk and metal sprinkled in. The song Sharks is a pit opening tune, which they did at Wacken! The last few months have been amazing for us fans. They even did a collaboration with Band Maid, which you can catch now. They are selling out venues world wide...the stops have been pulled, and this is going to be one hell of a ride going forward.

You’ve got it 100%. The pushback that they were wasting their time came just as much from personal friends and acquaintances as it did from “the industry,” according to things they’ve said over the years. They haven’t had the really tough time people in the past have had, but experiencing it as kids it probably hurts all the more. Lucky for us they are stubborn as hell, hard workers and have had a good support from family and those they work with. The video takes a slightly different tack than the lyrics would suggest, in fact they’ve described the song as dealing with someone who has a god complex and taking them off their pedestal. Similar, certainly capable of overlap, but the direction of the video is unmistakable.
