I’ve been having a blast with ancient box, it has great matchups into almost all the top tier decks, and new meta decks. Destroying all the 2 prize decks such as ogerpon raging bolt, very good into chien pao, lugia, lost box, lzb variants including tina, also has a great matchup into zard and gardevoir ex as long as you are preparing yourself each turn for hand distription.
Tricky matchups include control, dragapult, future hands.
Things you can do to deal with dragapult, tech in Thorton/penny and save your capsules to save your greninja or stuck pokemon with less than 140 hp so the dragapult doesn’t take 2 prizes in a single turn.
Things to do for dealing with control, you have a few options here, 1 of roaring moon ex to deal with noivern ex, Thorton, penny or Kieran to deal with traps and/or running water energies for walking wake so that everything in the deck can attack.
Future hands is tricky, if you run a roaring moon ex you can put a booster capsule on it so that they have to gust around it every turn in order to take a 2 prize k0, however you also need to be drawing really well and finding your counter catchers. This matchup is almost impossible to win.
Ancient box should be in A tier as a deck in general, even s tier if the pilot is a good player.

You are making a bunch of BS claims sustained in thin air like "if ancient box player is good, is A tier" 😂😂😂
Ancient box was even ROFL stomped by charizard in a finals of a regionals, showing how unwinnable the MU is: ancient box never had a chance.
Charizard this format has 65% win ratio vs ancient box. Last format it was similar, will fact check (checked, 60% for zard).
You can be delusional all you want, data doesn't lie. And your experience is not more validad than hundreds of compiled MU's in online events.

seeing gardy and lost zone at the top of the meta again is pretty awful card design for new sets. At least a contender is playable from the newer sets, I guess.
