Are you Team Speeder or Team Dewback?

  • @OSON001
    @OSON001 Год назад +16

The answer it's even easier. Speeder bikes engines would erase any footprints or blow the sand hiding any clues

They only find out that it’s droids, after looking for awhile.
This is where the original sequels, and the prequels, create some problems, that just have to be forgiven, to truly enjoy the movies.
If Vader had just personally verified, where they tracked the droids too, which one would expect him to do, regardless of it being the planet he was from; he’d know it was Owen’s home.
Then, how hard would it be to learn there’s a young guy named Luke Skywalker, who lives with them. He’s their nephew. They tried to make it look like Tuskens, so why wouldn’t he want to have been sure they aren’t rebels, and collect any information about them, from the city?
But, George had no idea he’d write any of that, even for Empire, let alone Return or prequels.

Same reason us green berrets rode horses in 2001.
Same reason armies use camals in the dessert.

The only problem with using pack animals in the desert is how incredibly slow they are
Also, camels evolved on the plains of the western hemisphere, camels in North America, llamas, alpacas and vicinu in the South America. Camels wide feet were made for walking in snow, we've actually found fossils of camels twice the size of modern day ones in Canada
During the ice age, camels migrated over the land bridge to Russia and spread out from their to the two species we have now, the dromedary in Africa and the Middle East, and the Bactrian in east Asia
The adaptations camels evolved with that made them perfect for ice age conditions, were perfectly adaptable for desert conditions

Just in case my "Camel facts!" post came off the wrong way, I was truly interested in what you wrote and was glad to have learned something new.

They arrived at the zone with a bigger vehicle and are inspecting the zone without erasing any footprint. It works.

These reasons are too long a stretch.
A simpler and better explanation is that a small number of troops had mounts for highly specific purposes (like crowd control in the cities and towns) and since the empire was making a large effort to find the droids they just called all available troops to help in the effort. Not convoluted, more believable.
    Anyways, great video. 😊

Okay, you're in a hurry to get the information, so you take the time to train Stormtroopers to ride dewbacks? How did you get the Dewbacks? Okay, maybe there are places to get trained dewbacks already, but it seems ridiculous. It seems easier to purchase or confiscate local speeders to accelerate the search or maybe in combination with Imperial vehicles. Remember this is sensitive information and losing equipment might be an afterthought to actually getting the information. The Empire is trying to keep a low-profile with a Star Destroyer in orbit and checkpoints littered throughout the spaceports?

Katherine Kenedy wanted dinosaurs. And dinosaur riders. Because it looked cool and kids like dinos. Just bad writing. Like all she did.
Darth maul and Anakin had no problem with their speeders.
    So yeah
