Hands down THE best aquarium on the planet right now as Seaworld Abu Dhabi blew my mind! Take a look inside this beautiful new UAE attraction on its official opening day!
@@Greenkai3000 It’s really not as bad as you think. The Yas Island hotels include one free attraction per nights stay (including Seaworld) so you save money there. We stayed two nights but did three attractions so we were happy to pay for SW regardless. Flights to Abu Dhabi from the UK weren’t too cheap but still not insanely expensive and if you’re staying at Yas Island there’s a free shuttle bus from the airport and unlimited use of the shuttle buses during your stay to get around the island too. Taxis are dirt cheap and the food at Yas Mall is very affordable

It was packed full of Americans from Seaworld parks over in the states and Yas Island in general is a very westernised place to visit. All in English, English plug sockets over there in Abu Dhabi and everyone speaks great English
All their theme parks have English and Native speaking options :) They cater to a LOT of western and european visitors yearly on Yas Island. It will eventually transition to more english with accents as the new trainers/workers settle in and the US trainers are sent back home.

Every time I see something from the UAE, I am blown away. I have been to the UAE and primarily Dubai 14 times. And every time I went, they had something new and amazing to see. Even their malls between Dubai and Abu Dhabi are top notch and an experience all their own. If we had their malls, I'd rarely shop on Amazon lol. This new Seaworld should be the new set standard if they plan to ever refurbish or build new in the states.
Completely agree with you, their malls are so big you can spend a whole day in there and still miss things! Unbelievable place, loved Dubai and Abu Dhabi but I find Abu (Yas Island especially) much more like a resort and relaxing whereas Dubai is always very city busy... I prefer a calmer place me
The gargantuan scale of the tanks and the airport sized sections is mind blowing. Looks super fun and incredible! The Star Wars/spaceship theme is interesting. Also, maybe it's because the tanks were so huge, but they seemed kind of empty of fish and sea life.

As someone who has been to one of the American Sea Worlds so many times, Sea World Abu Dhabi is making me jealous. They really outdid themselves with this park! And I really like how it's even more focused on wildlife preservation than ever! Just curious why it's entirely indoors, though. A lot of attractions in the UAE seem to be. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi looks really gorgeous and creative. If I had an opportunity, I'd probably visit it since it featured many of my favorite animals like Dugons and Walrus.
As a UAE coaster enthusiast visiting abu dhabi in the summer, I'm absolutely excited to go see this park in person. It looks like the international team of developers who licensed the SeaWorld branding did a much better job at making an immersive SeaWorld experience than the American SeaWorld themselves can. Inevitably people will complain, 'It was made with oil money', or 'There aren't a lot of people visible', but that doesn't discard the insane efforts the developers, designers, and engineers went through to produce a perfectly concept-art-accurate theme park design that is immersive, technologically advanced, and adheres to all kinds of audiences.
Ikr, I bet the same thing will occurr when the planned parks for Saudia will open. most will either call it oil money or accuse it of being built with slave labour, despite contracts providing complete info on their living conditions when the workers apply, and thus due to these complaints the pure beauty and work put into these projects will be disregarded, am completely impressed by how this park blew my expectations out the water (intentional pun) with how the theme could be carried out in a indoor enviroment.
@@chillpill4963 Agreed. Adding to this, if Falcons Flight opens, smashing the height and speed record, I think it will further fuel the hate out of pure jealousy, even though the coaster is going to be the largest ever terrain coaster.
@fadbob Anything is easy when you have an unlimited budget. Just bringing in Foreign Construction workers and engineers problem solved. These parks make no logical sense at all they get less attendance than a random park in the middle of nowhere, The only reason they exist is because the government Is pumping insane amounts of money To bolster the tourist industry because there oil money won't last forever as production and demand has gone down.

With all of the shows you could easily spend the entire day in there. With it being new and not everything fully open yet we were all done in around 5 hours. It’s a huge building, it’ll take some time to really take it all in
3:51 I lost my head, sensory overload...to much to process all at once 😂. What an incredible park though, themeing in these Eastern parks is off the scale....shows what can be done when you have the budget.
Used to think Monteray Bay had the best Aquarium in the world. After seeing this....not anymore. But know I will never aford to get to see it. But wow it looks so nice.

Well I will start off by saying 25k for one of your videos 🎉🎉🎉 Fantastic blog , I seen a on ride of manta. It just puts the likes or Rita to shame with that kind of layout. Nice to see Jim getting another outing😂😂
It’s an amazing place, it has been rammed at parks today, great to see it so busy! Seaworld was ever so quiet in the morning then by 3pm SO busy! Definitely come early to all attractions here it’s like a ghost town until the afternoon
Looks amazing. I don't think I have ever seen a video of any Abu Dhabi/Dubai theme park busy/packed. If this was opening day anywhere else, it would have been packed. Have you been to Atlanta Aquarium? That is always ranked #1 in the world, would be interesting to see what you think of them both.
If we had stayed longer you'd have seen it rather busy, we left before the crowds come in. Take a look at the press day footage on the parks official pages, it was rammed and yes I've been to Atlantis (vlog is on the channel) and even did the Aquatrek dive there, it doesn't even come close to Seaworld in my opinion
Good to see Sea World providing a great, expansive environment for sea life, unlike the American parks. Hopefully this goes a long way towards cleaning up Sea World's reputation. It looks incredible.
Very nice. I see a lot of inspiration possibly from the Living Seas at EPCOT and the Little Mermaid area from Tokyo DisneySea....but a lot of unique things as well
Haha hey! Thanks for watching, it was a Mexican festival where I had chilli con carne but it was in Los Angeles for the Dia De Los Muertos celebration I do love picadilo though too! 😅 thanks for watching
Thank you for taking me with you!! Glad you enjoyed it. Incredible!!! But why is the water in the BIG tank a slimey green?? OH.. And ... you might take it a little slower on your pans, like when you're taking the wide view video wall of oceans in different parts of the world. (Did like the light drones!)
It looked fab but it’s a pity that you didn’t film the rides on a GoPro tied on your hand. Was I the Orlando sea world a few times. The manta was my favourite. So was looking forward to seeing it.
You're not allowed to record on any of the rides unfortunately and the sites that were allowed weren't allowed to use GoPros and as a result the footage is blurry and quite frankly... awful. It's a real shame. I'm hoping the park releases an officially shot POV of all the rides soon. I'm told Manta's theming is no where near completed (it still looked amazing) so when it's all done I'm sure they'll release the footage!
The big opening day for media etc was the day before we went early to avoid crowds (people don’t show up until afternoon onwards at UAE attractions due to late openings) we left at 3pm as it got too busy despite it being a weekday public opening

It really does! It’s just absolutely unreal
Thank you for sharing. Very interesting experience for sure.
Thank YOU for watching
This place looks incredible…imagine it 2-5 years from now 🤩
Such an amazing attraction!
Id love to meet the person who made this, absolute genius
They've done such a magical job.... unbelievable attraction
I have gone to This place so amazing
Yall should go too
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
@@LiftHillsandThrillsthanks 👋
That’s INSANE! I want something like this in the UK!
Don't we all?!
UK aint that advanced haha, it's a country stuck in the past
That place looks beautiful
Insane isn’t it
I remember hearing about this a while ago but didn’t think it actually happened. This place doesn’t even feel real. Definitely a bucket-list park.
It feels as though you've stepped into a sci-fi submarine movie
Great Vlog Sean, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi looks like a World Class indoor Theme Park
I don’t think it’s going to be beaten anytime soon that’s for sure
@@LiftHillsandThrills I agree with you on that one
Used to think Monteray Bay had the best Aquarium in the world. After seeing this....not anymore. But know I will never aford to get to see it. But wow it looks so nice.
It’s beautiful isn’t it. When you get there everything is very affordable. For every night you stay at a Yas Island hotel you get a free attraction included and they’re all affordable hotels it’s just the flights isn’t it. Hopefully you can get to check it out one day!
Nearly at 200k mate 👏
So close! aha
It's the ing Jim - but not as we know it! 😝 Genuinely stunned at this place.... You've done awesome at capturing the place Sean but I'm guessing from behind the lens doesn't do it justice!
It really doesn’t Steve, I had to stop and take it all in. Some areas were strangely emotional it was THAT good
@@LiftHillsandThrills honestly mate from your vlog there I've been genuinely looking into venturing out there! Did you just venture out there for the seaworld shout mainly or was it entwined in the warner brothers doofer too?
Keep up the awesomeness mate. Also, could you let me know when you're back on uk turf please? I'm venturing into the realms of attempting to get the ultimate (any part of it, hopefully the zero car and a bit of track) preserved in the railway museum.... Having numerous accolades including that of some railway relation.... Would appreciate a natter to see what your thoughts on it would be, how to raise some interest in it and some backing etc.
Keep up the epicness!
Thanks for this guys, since I refuse to travel by plane ha I still get to see this amazing place. Now I'm just waiting on, virtual interactive
My pleasure, thanks for watching
Welcome bud
Well I will start off by saying 25k for one of your videos 🎉🎉🎉
Fantastic blog , I seen a on ride of manta.
It just puts the likes or Rita to shame with that kind of layout.
Nice to see Jim getting another outing😂😂
Yes mate, about time one video did well! Aha
Looks amazing, I'd love to visit Yas Island at some point!
That is always ranked #1 in the world, would be interesting to see what you think of them both.
a more empty aquarium means the sealife is less stressed
If we had stayed longer you'd have seen it rather busy, we left before the crowds come in. Take a look at the press day footage on the parks official pages, it was rammed and yes I've been to Atlantis (vlog is on the channel) and even did the Aquatrek dive there, it doesn't even come close to Seaworld in my opinion
I love sea world
Appreciate you watching the video, I hope you liked this one too!
When you guys were in the Tropical part it made me feel like I was in an episode of Spongebob.
Aye aye captain!
Looks stunning!
My mind is still blown!
🤯 amazing 👏
Thanks for watching!
Good to see Sea World providing a great, expansive environment for sea life, unlike the American parks. Hopefully this goes a long way towards cleaning up Sea World's reputation. It looks incredible.
If there’s any country perfect for a park like this it’s the UAE! Thanks for watching
been waiting for this a long time
I hope it lives up to the hype, it certainly did for us!
Beautiful.
Thank you so much for watching
13:00 this tank is mind blowing
Insane isn’t it?!
There’s another place to add to the bucket list. 😊
100% but make sure you stay at a Yas Island hotel so you can get the attraction free and included with your night stay!
Been to Sea World San Antonio many times. This place looks sik!
Thanks for watching, ace ain’t it
How do you only have 12k subs? This was QUALITY content!!!
haha thank you! Hey if you can get me another 88k it would be MUCH appreciated! aha thanks for stopping by
@@LiftHillsandThrills Takes time for sure. Keep it up! This aquarium is WILD! You should definitely make some shorts about it - those would kill!
@@sjkvideoproductions5455 It's on the cards although shorts NEVER get above 10k for me, we'll try though.. we'll try! aha
Very nice. I see a lot of inspiration possibly from the Living Seas at EPCOT and the Little Mermaid area from Tokyo DisneySea....but a lot of unique things as well
It really does draw on the best of the best but for me somehow elevates them whilst also paying a nice homage to their inspirations
I love acquariums
Thanks for watching
The giant starfish running towards you 😭😭😭
😂😂
Lovely tour!
Thank you!
so long and thanks for all the fish.
You’re welcome 😂
I´m from México, we don't eat Chile con carne, the closest thing here is the ``picadillo``but it taste really different hahaha nice video
Haha hey! Thanks for watching, it was a Mexican festival where I had chilli con carne but it was in Los Angeles for the Dia De Los Muertos celebration I do love picadilo though too! 😅 thanks for watching
Haha! Looks more like an airport that a theme park, just one endless duty free
How so 😂
The crazy part is that this project was announced 16 years ago… declared dead multiple times, was stuck in construction hell yet, it finally arrived.
It’s safe to say it’s gone from dead to world leading. Worth the wait 😂
They need to bring this stuff to America
They do! I always thought America do it bigger and better but one trip to Yas Island and that statement quickly changed
@@LiftHillsandThrills yeah I love Orlando SeaWorld but this one is bigger
Thank you for taking me with you!! Glad you enjoyed it.
Incredible!!!
But why is the water in the BIG tank a slimey green??
OH.. And ... you might take it a little slower on your pans,
like when you're taking the wide view video wall of oceans in
different parts of the world. (Did like the light drones!)
The pans is something I’m definitely trying to work on, the camera is quite sensitive! Thanks for watching
I’m miffed..
There is hardly anyone there. It’s gorgeous, top notch… I feel there should be a huge crowd. Is this a soft opening day?
The big opening day for media etc was the day before we went early to avoid crowds (people don’t show up until afternoon onwards at UAE attractions due to late openings) we left at 3pm as it got too busy despite it being a weekday public opening
Just gonna amend my last comment and say those dolphins are soooo cute and intelligent
🐬 Hell yeah
@@LiftHillsandThrills I want one 😆
woow this looks so good, shame about the dolphin show but everything looks stunning
Really is rather special!
Agreed. Looks incredible but shame Seaworld are still using dolphins in their shows.
@@jonathonbrennan1842 nah im glad they are. Hope it stays like that forever
It looks so comfy

@@LiftHillsandThrills I like big places that are clean relaxing and not overcrowded
