Hot wheels can also be caused by bad wheel bearings that are heating up.
Your talking about a tv show, they wouldnt know that. They reading off of a teleprompter so no real skill involved.
It was fortunate they just so happened😂😂😂 to have a camera between the tracks! 😂
This show made me laugh all staged. One time there was a car on the track and the narrator was like it needs to be moved before the train gets there making it sound like the train was imminent. So they moved it then the next scene was the car all frosted over and the train passing. Clearly had taken the train all night to get there
Yeah, there’s another show called “mighty trains” where they ALWAYS stage an accident
This show is such a joke...I guess its from me being retired from the railroad
All scripted, every episode.
Yep, I work in commuter service and every time I see these, JOKE
Railroad Alaska, Ice road trucker, bush pilots etc etc. All these shows follow the same lazy recycled format every episode.
I laughed when the Deadman alerter was going off ,and they said it's a close bridge warning!!! 😅😅
I haven’t seen this show in so long
hotbox alarm cause stuck brakes.
Hotbox alarms are hot axle bearings not hot wheels. Its a hot wheel alarm.
Good video
Ouch, overheated wheels can be Dangerous ⚠️
Well, great the brake wasn’t hanging up, but then what caused the hot wheel? If it’s a bad bearing, you can’t just forget about it and continue on your way. Stupid made up TV crap.
He said it was a slow releasing brake chamber, so it could still make that brake drag. You’d think he would smell a overheated brake though. Hot bearings have their own unique burned oil smell. Mind you, if those guys are smokers they wouldn’t smell a thing lol.
Did just see an Alaska railroad f40ph
No SD70MAC
I Like This Show
hotwheels more like darkwheels
All staged.
How
My thing is. These it super expensive stuff to be making up and scripting. The trains loaded so why would a company I don’t know man
I'm a railroader and I'd rather watch unstoppable than this🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾.
Stop posting these replies cause .. The train is heavy... There might be snow or ice near the track.. A snowmobile is 100 feet from the track... An offgridder doesn't want to go to town.. What happened to the female back seat driver...were going to be late... Really lame hype... If your going to sport long hair and be half bald, put on a hat ( OHS ) cause it might get stuck in the loco's wheel.. Are we going to fit through the tunnel.. Prepare to stop as the track maintenance guys are shouting at each other cause the train is 2 hrs away.. And the list goes on. But I can't stop watching as I love trains for some reason. All the Alaska shows should combine so everybody gets eating by 1 bear. Expect for Bill, Davy and the other guy!
Zachary Hampton you RUclips
42,624th!🚂👍
I AM A FAN OF YOU, SEE YOUR FILMS REPORT IN GERMANY - WAY SO, GREET PETER
Shut it off a 1:40, couldn’t take it any more. I hate staged reality shows
Love the dramatic music over a big nothingburger. Garbage reality tv.
What BS. They did nothing to fix the problem. They should have cut out the brakes on that car. One car wouldn't make any difference in stopping
Not if the piston released why would you cut it out lol
You can isolate cars from the braking system while letting the surrounding cars brake. But yes, this is pretty staged
I would just grab a pipe wrench and smack that sucker into releasing
Why would you do that, that means the rest of the cars past that one with the problem would have no brakes if you mean disconnecting the train brake hose.
Railroad Engineer no, the brakes on each car can be cut out individually. This is often done as a temporary means to move a car with defective brakes. It does not mean shutting off the train line.
Another false reality show. No thank you.
