i know people are saying stuff about the integrity of the korean music industry. let me just say, a lot of the hype about idols is because of foreign fans from china, japan, malaysia,philippines, etc.. jung yeob, and singer's who have as much talent and musicianship as him are recognized, loved, and well known. people don't seem to understand that though because all we see are idols on TV. this is because of fan clubs and foreign fans. in korea, people actually do appreciate this kind of music.
@G2IntegraDA I don't watch any music programs, I'm more of a casual follower of Korean music. Shows like Sketchbook always have awesome performances though. Whether you like it or not, this song got MAJOR exposure thanks to the idols. Although it's pretty sad when people think it's not Jung Yup's song.
Why is it that some people feel the need to bash kpop? I admit most of it is senseless garbage over recycled, but there are exceptions to every rule. There're some idols who manage to break the stereotype and DO KNOW how to sing. I honestly think it's a good thing when idols try to sing songs as demanding as this one - it means they listen to the artist, like their music and they're promoting it. Let's just enjoy Music and stop bashing. Not everything needs to be a war of opinions..
I'm somewhat disappointed that this live performance of Nothing Better was less noticed than a subpar performance from Jonghyun from Shinee singing the same song. Ballads don't really have a place in the Korean market. We need more music like this but these music companies keep on pumping out teenybopper groups left and right. What a sad sight from what I first saw when I fell in love with Korean music.
@thevoiceofreason94 Probably in Korea, but I love ballads and there seems to be no place for Korean ballads in the international realm where I mostly see. It is the same with the weekly music programs such as M.net countdown, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo. I know there are legendary singers in Korea such as Lee Seung Chul, Kim Bum Soo, Yim Jae Bum, Lee Eun Mi, and many others, but I am just saying as I see it. I wish solo ballad singers with skills get more recognized. That's all.
@G2IntegraDA I do not know where my dad watches it from but if I find out, I'll let you know. But it is a Korean site and usually they require a Korean citizen number thing... so idk if you can watch.

Leader's actually seem like they have some talent though.
