This Song and Video gets me every time. I love it, it makes me cry. Brandon Flowers is a certified lyrical genious. What I love so much about it is that I can separate the song from the video. The song itself reminds me of my Mother and my Grandmother who is no longer with us. They lived in the desert, it's what pretty girls do. My grandma was a dancer, and my Grandfather died on the 4th of July, as did his brother, just a few years apart.
The Killers have this weird habit of releasing songs that truly define how we feel during a given moment in time. Edit: Wow, thanks for the likes! This was an extremely off the cuff comment. I typed the first feeling and thing that came to mind. I’ve been a fan for years. Since Hot Fuss. Never got this many likes on a comment. 💕
After the introspection of “Wonderful Wonderful,” The Killers are roaring back with the driving synths and propulsive beats of “Caution.” Featuring a face-melting guitar solo by Fleetwood Mac’s legendary guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, and the welcome return of Mark Stoermer to the limelight (paging Dave Keuning, but hey, 3 outta 4 ain’t bad). The video seems disjointed but themes emerge. It’s from a longer short film by visionary music video director Sing Lee (Halsey, Muse, Migos). In a year filled with difficult times, one of the great modern rock bands is back to remind us that theirs is the Bright Side, and that it’s some kinda sin to live a life of “what might have been.” Love The Killers!
Flowers calling working class whites "Black top white trash," wasn't a ton of bricks. Only the sort of casual disregard for people who put Trump in office and stopped the operation of the United States government. Thank you.
3:25 ''I'm ready now!" really hits the spot, I love the killers, and Brandon Flowers … such a phenomenal man, with a voice of an angel. His music is deep, and his music is not only catchy but his songs have so much meaning that make you contemplate and reflect. The Killers Forever❤💕🌹

This album is like the killers perfecting their sound as they age. It has the pop synth of Hot Fuss and Day & Age, the heartland rock of Battle Born, the epic melodies of Sam's Town and the raw emotion of Wonderful Wonderful - all mixed with a bit of 80's new wave from Brandon Flower's solo efforts. It's just fantastic.
From all the songs on hot fuss, Sam’s town, Day and age, battle born, sawdust, direct hits and wonderful wonderful this takes my crown of my favourite Killers song. Absolutely unbelievable lyrics
Id put this easily in the top 5 not sure if its my fav yet only time will tell but you could be right this could be the best Killers song ever made, its that titanic chorus and his vocals are insane.
The first time I listened this song, it really got me, I thought: "Another good song from The Killers", then at the end I thought "What an amazing solo, it reminds of someone's style, then, a couple of days later I realized the guitar player was Lindsey Buckingham, he is one of my favorite players and composers, that sole fact added an unique feeling to this song for me :)
I love how the killers always makes me like oddly emotional. I felt like I want to cry tears of joy and happiness. They use their music to heal, to make others happy, and to send a message. I’m so happy knowing that special artists like them exists ❤🇧🇷

Micael Angelo same here , brotha. I teared just now, especially being from America and being isolated in my home and no outside social life. Watching the economy crumble and people losing their jobs. Some don’t have money to feed their kids. And not just in America, but other nations worldwide. This song brought some joy to my heart. And every time I see them live, I always cry.

Just love a perfect pop tune and these guys, these guys that's all they seem to come up with. Throw in Lindsey Buckingham for good measure. The Killers. Gonna get me through the COVID. Listen to Sam's Town. It's absolutely absurd but the bombast makes it sort of endearing. It's essentially a collection of rock-ballads about the desert and sin and whatever else to the tune of searing, lazer like synths. Actually now that I mention it that's pretty much all of their songs, but this sort of encapsulates it. I wouldn't really call it pop it sort of doubles down on the grunge of the first album without doubling down on the glam. Also my god I hope I have music taste like that coming out of my 60s
7 months since I heard the IMPLODING THE MIRAGE album and still I find myself repeating this very song. This will always be good music. The kind that's your cup of coffee on a winter night or a a bowl of icecream on a typical summer day.
“If I don’t get out, out of this town; I just might be the one who finally burns it down.” Hitting a bit to close since my town did mostly just burn down. #Minneapolis 😥 Love this song though!
The album came out today!!! Just came to praise this truly glorious song. I remember the first time I heard it, in the dark on my couch feeling miserable during quarantine, and it felt like it was just what I needed to hear. It just has such an amazing sound, makes you feel like you’re in an entirely different place from where you really are if you close your eyes. Not many songs can accomplish that, and it’s something we all desperately need right now.
So true, this is the music we need in this day and age for so many reasons! These guys inspire me to write songs, if you have time you could have a listen to this one: ruclips.net/video/qOCvS-Iect8/видео.html
Amazing! This is the best band of the century. Their music transcends and injects so many emotions. There is a nostalgic feel to this one but hopeful of the future at the same time. Rock on Killers!
It's amazing how The Killers always manage to keep their sound and make it exciting every time! You just know what you're getting from them and it's always good. The same goes for Brandon's solo albums as well. There are albums that I liked more and I liked less; but I don't remember a single time being disappointed.
'Cause it's some kind of sin To live your whole life On a "might've been" I'm ready now Just slayed by the line. No one band and frontman can rip your heart out like The Killers and Brandon. Sometimes I listen to their music and I have so many emotions I can't even put into words.
This song is so catchy - people are going to love it! I love how the Killers produce consistently good songs and the 80s vibe. It would be good if they played some smaller venues in England rather than stadiums these days :)
Same and I'm a big Killers fan. I've just listened to their 3 new tracks and I love it. I wasn't too fond by Wonderful Wonderful but now The Killers are back!
When this pandemic is all over, humans lives are healed. I hope The Killers start touring, I can only imagine how emotional their concert would be. Their music bringing a venue and people together. Tears of joy, people holding hands and sharing hugs.
They had a tour running through June in the UK, my family and I managed go get tickets, sadly I can see it being cancelled along with all other gigs. But yes I hope they reschedule for not long after that's for sure
Apart from the brilliant, tear inducing guitar solo, the part that hits the hardest is where the director goes from laughing to slowly crying. I'm sure we all feel that way, but it takes a great editor to convey it perfectly
Grew up in an orphanage, received a heart transplant 2 years ago, suffer from depression, sober alcoholic for the last 30 years, without The Killers, my wife and daughters my life would've been really miserable. Now it's pretty good! 🙏🏼
I want to thank you Brandon, Dave, Mark, Ronnie and everyone that helps to make "The Killers" music. Every Christmas, out of habit, I check to see if there are any new Christmas songs. In 2016 I found "I'll be home for Christmas" which is about Brandon's teacher who sang "Ill be home for home for Christmas". After finding out that there was not going to be another X-Mas song, I purchased the Christmas Album which had all the past Christmas songs. I have never purchased an album before but the proceeds were going to The Killers X-Mas charity. I cried when I heard Mr. Hanson singing. Forever grateful

The first time I listened to The Killers, Mr. Brightside when I was 12 years old, today I'm 28 years old and I've been the biggest fan forever! Listened to all the songs and even learned the lyrics to perfection lol... I make my wife go crazy when I put The Killers Station on Spotify.
I'm pretty sure my kids will sing with me every song when they grow older. 😁
My only wish in the whole world is to see them live on concert, I'm not gonna die before seeing them, they only did one tour to Puerto Rico and I lost the chance due to my crappy bosses on my job in that time... I'm so happy to see you guys back at it! I'm loving this new album and it hasn't been released yet!
learned all the lyrics so far from this last one 🤣, im excited and looking forward for the release of this new Album.
Hope to get to see you guys someday live in concert.

Brandon Flowers is a national treasure.
Anyone else feel this song has the same vibes as "shot at the night"? They're both anthems for not letting life pass you by.
100%% !!!
That was always the killers whole thesis.
And they both related to Las Vegas their home town nice!!
The Killers have so much class. Thank you for this amazing music.
His brother Shane was born on 4th July, as far as I know he isn't dead. X
And what's the video about?
I legit thought this was some 80's gem I somehow magically missed the rest of my life when I first heard it on the radio
Me too
Amazing 80s sound indeed! They really nailed the 80s feeling in this song, goosebumbs!
Same me! Weird isn't it ??
Same here
Well I did miss this song all my life.
I tapped this as a complete mistake. I let it play. Then I read your comment.
Best part of my day.
Holy shit.
ThanQ.
It's almost eerie. And wonderful.
This is one of those songs that gives you an indescribable feeling but it's almost as if the weight of an entire world was lifted off of me....
@@tony-jaybauer1591 Some of their songs are pure magic. Magdalena, a song from Brandon Flowers first solo album, is joy.
Fucking amazing. thanks for suggesting.
Mr. Buckingham is indeed legendary!
We don't need Dave. Took his ball home. They do fine without him.
Formerly Bernard as much as I hear you, I’ll always have a soft spot for the guitarist who came up with the Brightside riff.
thank you for mentioning Mark and Dave, and yeah! I'll always long for the 4 killers
Passionately written write up on a positive band, or as I lovingly refer to them: the bandaid to my soul
“Cause it’s some kinda sin to live your whole life on a might’ve been. I’m ready now” - that hit like a ton of bricks lol
